We stayed here only two nights only with our 2 boys (it's all they had available), and it was a highlight of our trip to the Big Island of Hawaii! Not only is the view of the coast INCREDIBLE (and I mean truly breathtaking), but everything else is just heaven, including the warmest welcome from the owners Greg and Micheal, the wonderful breakfasts each morning, colorful grounds, the beautiful plantation decorated in old-style Hawaii, the comfortable rooms, the sweet and kind help (Hannah and Gabby), the fun outdoor lava rock showers with singing coqui frogs, the hot tub/steam room with ocean view.... I could go on. To just sit back in the porch rockers or lanai daybed to take in the view would be vacation enough... but there is so much to do on this island! Ka'awa Loa was the perfect place for us to end our vacation. When we return, we will undoubtedly stay here again and look forward to the pure magic of Hawaii and Ka'awa Loa.
