We last visited The Peninsular back in 2019, prior to covid. All I can say that this is the place to be when in Cape Town. On arrival, I was early as had an early flight. On arrival I was greeted and advised room was not ready and my cases were put in safe holding. I had a coffee and went shopping. On my return my room was ready. I was escorted up and shown my room and how things operated. Professionalism from arrival. Front staff went out off their way to assist where required. Shuttle service to town or V&A was incredible, occasionally with a historic chat from the driver as to what happened overtime. There amenities are top rate, I used there indoor pool, the gym was fully operational and free to use. I did use a paid service in a sports massage with Moira, she was brilliant. On Monday we were invited to a light meal and drink at Strolla, excellent chatting to staff members, sat at my table and felt like family. The only issue that happened, was that I book a shuttle from the airport and it was misplaced, but did not suffer due to it. Cannot thank the staff for their service.
