DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Goa - Arpora - Baga

It was a good stay, big and clean rooms, breakfast was nice. amenities could have been better

Our family stayed at the Hilton DoubleTree Arpora Baga in Goa from June 12-17, and we had an overall wonderful experience. Despite a minor glitch with the Agoda booking and reservation team, Mr. Anthony ensured everything was sorted out efficiently and managed the situation very well. Our pool-facing room was beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our stay. The breakfast buffet was good, though it could benefit from more variety as it became repetitive over the days we stayed. However, Mr. Pardeep, the restaurant manager, was an amazing host and made us feel very welcome. The attentive and helpful staff at the pool area made sure my kid had a fantastic time. Special thanks to Mr. Anthony and Poonam at the front desk, and Mr. Pardeep and Barnali at the restaurant, for their exceptional service. The housekeeping staff also did a commendable job, keeping our room well-kept, cozy, and comfortable. Our stay at the Hilton DoubleTree Arpora Baga made our Goa trip memorable, and we appreciate the efforts of the entire team.

I checked into the hotel with warm welcome from Priyanka at the reception, it. She was great and she gave us the room ASAP as my daughter was hungry. Kudos to her. Room was amazing, it has a beautiful view and it was a great 2 nights comfortable stay. Sirajul from Housekeeping has serviced the room very nicely. Immaculately clean and good. Few issues that I faced was I saw 2 small cockroaches in the washroom, few minor cracks on the wall, an intense smell of seepage or dampness somewhere in the room near the AC regulator, I saw them again and again and it bothered me, as this is absolutely unacceptable to me for a 5 star hotel. I could’ve stayed anywhere in the whole of Goa, but I chose to stay in a place paying a premium price only to avoid these things. But what can you do? Also somewhere there is a lack of training and observation among the staff as they lack a certain trait of warm gestures. It’s more casual. There needs to be some amount of finesse and sophistication. All in all.. Okay. Will try some other place on my next visit..
