Overall good hotel infrastructure, services and excellent staff. Can improve the quality and variety of the food at their “by reservation” restaurants. I recommend staying at this hotel.

My friends and I spent 5 days here and we loved every second of it. The beach was just a few steps in front. We also loved the buffet which had a hugee selection of food, even gluten friendly. We ate steak and seafood everyday. The all-inclusive is worth the money. I would come back here again in the future

My husband and I picked this place for our anniversary and it truly is a beautiful resort. We stayed at the Coral-adults only side in a corner room. The room was breathtaking and the cleaning staff did a fantastic job day after day with cleaning and turndown service. The only thing we were a bit disappointed in was the quality of the food in some of the restaurants. As a Coral guest you have access to the buffet in your own building plus all of the restaurants in the Iberostar family resort next door. The American Bistro was the main restaurant we felt had the best quality and service. The hibachi and the steakhouse restaurant left a little to be desired. The worst experience was at La Horma where we had the worst customer service experience with the receptionist, Itzel. We waited an hour and a half to be seated (which wasnt the issue) just to be spoken to with a dismissive and arrogant tone when we simply followed up with the txt message to be seated. Itzel wasn't the only reason this restaurant was awful, the main special on the menu was not available, you have to order an entire bottle if you want a glass of wine, and the actual pasta itself tasted crunchy and flavourless. Other than that experience, the Mexican restaurant option was closed the entire week we were there. The spa was a wonderful experience. The staff is welcoming and the facility is beautiful! We had a couples massage and facial and it was perfect! Overall we would recommend this resort to our friends!

Property was nice but definitely could tell it was an older property. The new portion( adults only) was nice and clean however the family side showed signs of being older and more wear. The cleanliness was also lacking in comparison to the adults only side
