Ruth gave us a very warm welcome on arrival. We had a double room with ensuite shower room, overlooking the garden, which was a delightful room. The bed was very comfortable with good quality linen and very comfortable pillows. There was a good choice for the continental breakfast. I would highly recommend The Holly Tree, it is a lovely home from home B & B and we shall definitely stay again when we are visiting Cambridge.

Excellent little family run bnb. My room was clean, warm and generous filled with tea, coffee and biscuits. My bathroom also very clean with all the toiletries I needed. In close proximity to Addenbrookes Hospital for my work and with free parking where I could leave my car safely parked. I will highly recommend ruth BnB.

Wow! What an experience. Ruth was one of the most caring hosts I have ever stayed with. I had to travel to Cambridge at the last minute as my wife was taken ill suddenly and was admitted into the Royal Papworth Hospital. I was a nervous wreck, but Ruth calmly made time to talk to me and help to put my mind at rest. My room was spacious with an ensuite and very comfortable. The breakfast was continental and there were plenty of choices (a good selection of free-from and gluten-free options in addition). It was only a 12-minute walk from the hospital and a very quiet area with a lovely park with views along the way. Thankfully my wife is recovering well but I will be checking with Ruth to see her availability when we have the follow-up appointment. Thanks again. Toby and Shirley Dyer

My room was very comfortable and clean and so was my bathroom even though it was a shared bathroom with another guest. Ruth is a very caring host that made my stay super comfortable. Breakfast is included and with a free parking on site a huge bonus without a doubt I will recommend this family run bnb. My stay was home from home

Wonderful family run bnb near Addenbrookes & Papworth Hospital. My room was very clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for 3 days. The continental breakfast was plentiful, fresh and with a large selection of cereals, breads & pastries. The host (Ruth) was very friendly and attentive to my needs, nothing was a burden to her to make sure I was comfortable. Thank you very much for your hospitality. I will be back

Very caring host. Wonderful little family run bnb. My room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Bathroom had everything I needed. Continental breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Parking available for free during my stay however plenty of parking off street too. I will definitely recommend this charming bnb.

With a husband in Papworth hospital I was looking for accommodation for a few days which gave me easy access to Papworth hospital, a short walk to Addenbrooke’s bus station, a quiet location that felt like home, and I came across The Holly Tree B&B. My few days were extended several times thanks to Ruth who went out of her way to ensure every time I asked for extra days, there was always a room available for me, my stay eventually stretched to almost two weeks. I felt completely relaxed at The Holly Tree which was essential when having a worrying stressful day at Papworth. There is a very large private garden where I could have eaten my breakfast, I had different rooms because the length of my stay and both were immaculately clean and fresh towels. If I had to return to Papworth I would be really happy to stay with Ruth at The Holly Tree. Mo from Norwich

This is a beautiful B&B in a quiet residential area. The large garden is a perfect place to relax and defuse after a busy day. There is also a big public park a short distance away that has football nets, basketball, tennis, etc. The Holly Tree is walking distance from the bus station where there is a bus going downtown every 5 minutes. It is also walking distance from the medical complex, making it very helpful for the families of people in Addenbrook's or Royal Papworth. The proprietor (Ruth) is friendly and attentive, making sure visitors are comfortable and have what they need for a pleasant stay. Breakfast is basic, and self serve, but fresh and tasty with a nice variety - everything needed to start the day. The showers are hot, with plenty of pressure, and a selection of shampoo and shower gel is provided, as well as hair dryers. There is offstreet parking. This is a comfortable place that feels like home. I would definitely recommend this B&B.

I had a meeting at Addenbrookes hospital which is a short walk from this BnB. Wonderful host, home from home environment, clean, comfortable with a great selection for continental breakfast, free parking and fantastic bed. Thanks Ruth for your hospitality and I will definitely be back.
