Hotel a 3 stelle a Cambridge

I had the privilege to stay at the Commander every other week for 8 months due to business. This property is a treasure in Cambridge. Exclusively located right on Cambridge common, this hotel is a 10-20 minute walk from Museums, Harvard Campus, Harvard square and dozens of restaurants and shopping. The second you arrive the character is apparent, from the front visage modeled after Mount Vernon, a bronze statue of the Commander himself, and stunning ornate ceilings in the lobby. The rooms are well appointed and full of character. Built in the 1920's, it was originally an apartment building and hotel rooms, which does leave each room to be slightly different. You never know quite what you're going to get in the rooms. But you can count on comfortable beds, great closet space, and stellar service. The front desk is kind and always go above and beyond, Kaitlyn, Jose, and the rest of the front desk crew are always ready to greet you with a smile. Johannes at the concierge desk is a delight and ready to help. The hotel is connected to a nice restaurant, Nubar, which also serves as the breakfast buffet location. Breakfast is not free, but if you have Marriott Titanium and above you do get vouchers. The wait staff in the morning are wonderful, although I can't recall everyone's name, I had a great pleasure getting to know Claudia. The Commander truly became a home away from home. I hope to visit again soon!

It was hard to rate this hotel. Hotel staff is friendly and professional. Room and lobby areas were clean. Valet parking with in/out privileges is much less than competing hotels. Colette, the attached restaurant, was excellent. However, there are some misses. One was no fridge in the room which is big for us when we are on a road trip. But the big reason why it is hard to recommend this place was the extremely small size of the rooms, at least the one (315) that we were placed into. I was surprised it even met building codes. I couldn't even turn around or bend over in the shower (no tub) without contorting my body. To walk in the room meant that my wife and I had to climb over the beds. There was hardly any floor space which meant my wife had to sleep with her luggage on the bed with her. If you need some space to spread out in the room, this is not the place for you.

La stanza è davvero piccola, l'aria condizionata non è particolarmente potente. Quando vedi l'introduzione della casa sul tavolo dell'hotel è stata costruita nel 1910, le strutture sono davvero molto vecchie. Ma il complesso è molto caldo, i receptionisti sono molto carini. Uno strato di caffè è bruciato troppo caldo, caffè, caffè è consumato da soli, e con una tazza di conservazione del calore può anche prendere acqua calda hhhh, il Vangelo del partito dell'acqua calda.

2 ladies in the reception are very warm and friendly. The room is clean with a beautiful view. The whole time there was very pleasant.

Adoro questo hotel, sono rimasto in hotel che vanno dal lusso al base- e posso dire sinceramente che questo posto fornisce tutto il possibile in questa gamma di prezzi. L’ultima visita, erano più che felici di prendere un paio di birre che potevo prendere in piedi perché il loro bar completo non era aperto. Sono professionali e gentili. Quando ho chiamato dall’aeroporto per un check-in precoce, hanno detto che la stanza era pronta. Adoro il fatto che la temperatura nella stanza sia completamente regolabile/ Mi piace dormire in una stanza fredda di notte e correre il AC non era problema nemmeno fuori stagione. Il letto è meraviglioso- grande notte dormire. Se avete bisogno di una scelta solida in questo campo di Cambridge, questa è una scelta grande.

Vicino all'Università di Harvard.C'è un magazzino di bagagli incredibile vicino che è grande per il colazione.

Tutto è perfetto per il nostro soggiorno, dal soddisfare la nostra richiesta di una camera di piano superiore con vista, al colazione personale che soddisfa la nostra richiesta di un oggetto vegetariano ”caldo”. fino a 6:30am/7am, ma il personale era abbastanza bello per noi per permetterci di prendere qualche pasticceria e articoli refrigerati per andare quella mattina presto. La stanza era molto spaziosa con una cucina completamente immagazzinata con tazze e panini. La consegna di Uber Eats ci ha aiutato molto, una delle nostre notti, perché potevamo mangiare nelle piastre ”vere” e usare l'argento. Possiamo mettere i soldi sul frigorifero. L'intero personale dell'hotel era molto rispettoso e sempre sorridente. Il parcheggio è stato molto conveniente, con un Starbucks collegato all'hotel.

This is a very professionally run small hotel. There were several times when the level of service rose to the very highest level. First, I had a cold when I made the reservation and I asked if I was too under the weather to come to Boston, could I use the non-refundable payment toward a future stay-the front desk person was very helpful and allowed that. During my stay everything was very well done. The next really, really special service was that I left the hotel very early due to travel plans and I forgot one of my most important reference books and my umbrella! I am an experienced traveler and I have a very careful leave the room routine. I must have been too tired. I realized my mistake quickly and called about an hour after having left. The front desk person checked on my room and found the two items and immediately offered to work with the owner to get them mailed to me...and the owner did this without adding a charge!! Maybe because I had been understanding that my room was a little cold due to very strong 50 mile per hour winds that night...whatever the reasons, I was very impressed and will make this my go to hotel on my regular Boston trips.

Proprio al bordo della stazione della metropolitana di Kendel , ci sono anche due bottiglie di acqua calda e piccoli pasti , e il prevendita $100 è stato restituito in tempo.Non è buono.Hotel antichi e aromati. è vicino alla provincia di MIT.  Il soggiorno è anche molto buono. L'aeroporto è venuto SL1 gratis, e la linea rossa è arrivata.
