Cambridge: i migliori hotel con palestra

I arrived early and they were able to find me a room that was available which was very nice. As a Globalist they offered a 4 pm checkout and free breakfast. Got a nice room facing the Charles River. A pleasant stay and very convenient to MIT. Also nice that they now have a shuttle that will take you to Kendall, Central or Harvard Square.

Did I spend roughly $50 (pre-tax & tip) on a lobster roll and a glass of prosecco? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes. I'm going to touch on other aspects of my stay, but I can't believe how many fresh tasting, big, succulent chunks of lobster were in this hotel lounge lobster roll. It's cold & mayo based, which I know isn't for everyone (I see you got buttered lobster roll people and I understand completely; I'm just an equal opportunist when it comes to lobster rolls), but it was really good - like, not good for a hotel lounge, but good good. Yum! Ok, so why 4 stars? If it were based on the hospitality of the staff alone, I'd give it 6. Every staff member I encountered was genuinely affable - some were more outgoing than others, sure, but I appreciate mellow kindness. Also, this might be the first time I've remembered to pack all of my extra little charging stations, and I didn't even need them. So many conveniently placed outlets and USB ports - and the main room light was warm toned and welcoming, which is also a little treat :) I had to take away a star because of the general noise. My sleep wasn't disturbed, because I always travel with hardcore ear plugs and a sleep mask, but I couldn't close the curtains all the way (even with the pants hanger clip trick) so there was light coming in, and I could hear everything in the hall. Also plumbing noises (like pipes pinging and gurgling - nothing alarming, just...mildly intrusive). I was also disappointed that there wasn't a laundry bag or dry cleaning service like there are in the other Marriotts I've stayed in; I want to call myself out on not going to the front desk to ask specifically for this, but every other Marriott I've been in has a laundry bag with a dry cleaning order form in the closet. There also weren't any extra blankets in the closet; again, I didn't ask the front for one (and I'm sure they would have given one to me) but I wish there had been one in the room as it was super comfortable until I woke up at 2 am - which is really late and inconvenient to realize you need extra blankets. Ok, so that's why I took away a star. The other 4 are for the friendly staff, incredibly convenient location (anywhere I didn't walk, I took a Bluebike from the stand right outside), gorgeous fitness center (Pelotons?! What?!), and general cleanliness. If I come back to Boston/Cambridge for work, I'm 100% staying here. (If I come for pleasure, I'd probably try a quaint inn or something, but honestly I'd likely stay here the final night of my trip because it is also FIFTEEN MINUTES from the airport. But with a great river view, and no plane noises.) More on the location: walk to the river, and across the Harvard bridge. You're literally right there, and it's a great way to see the city (and while there's a CVS across the street, the one over the bridge is in a historic building. 酒店基本上沒有服務，從check in開始，前台姐姐的態度就像別人欠她500萬似的，喪着個臉。第一天房間都沒有打掃，特意打了電話第二天才來打掃的房間。之前看評論説服務不好，沒想到不好到這個程度。房間裏有兩個大床，帶孩子住着比較舒服。設施比較齊全，房間裏有保險櫃，樓層裏有洗衣房。離地鐵走路10分鐘比較近，酒店右邊沒有吃飯的地方也沒有超市。但周邊環境特別好，可以晨跑。停車不免費，25刀/天吧，我們停了一晚。停車費需要到酒店前台交。

I had the privilege to stay at the Commander every other week for 8 months due to business. This property is a treasure in Cambridge. Exclusively located right on Cambridge common, this hotel is a 10-20 minute walk from Museums, Harvard Campus, Harvard square and dozens of restaurants and shopping. The second you arrive the character is apparent, from the front visage modeled after Mount Vernon, a bronze statue of the Commander himself, and stunning ornate ceilings in the lobby. The rooms are well appointed and full of character. Built in the 1920's, it was originally an apartment building and hotel rooms, which does leave each room to be slightly different. You never know quite what you're going to get in the rooms. But you can count on comfortable beds, great closet space, and stellar service. The front desk is kind and always go above and beyond, Kaitlyn, Jose, and the rest of the front desk crew are always ready to greet you with a smile. Johannes at the concierge desk is a delight and ready to help. The hotel is connected to a nice restaurant, Nubar, which also serves as the breakfast buffet location. Breakfast is not free, but if you have Marriott Titanium and above you do get vouchers. The wait staff in the morning are wonderful, although I can't recall everyone's name, I had a great pleasure getting to know Claudia. The Commander truly became a home away from home. I hope to visit again soon!

Hotel fantastico nel cuore di Cambridge. Ottimo servizio dal personale. Anas è un esempio brillante di ciò che l'attività di ospite dovrebbe essere. Dax era il nostro barista nella prima notte, nella nostra persona di aspettare colazione il giorno successivo. È un personale molto duro che merita un grande riconoscimento.

Siamo stati per 4 notti in questo hotel dal 28 agosto al 1 settembre 2023 camera numero 1025; è stata un esperienza veramente pessima! Hotel situato subito fuori da Boston all’ingresso dell’abitato di Cambridge, davanti il c’è tri commerciale CambridgeSide, quindi ottima posizione. Quando si entra nella hall l’atmosfera è elegante, tutto ben tenuto e pulito, vista su Boston veramente belle dal riverfront posto sul retro, ma le cose belle finiscono qui. Personale veramente freddo e quasi assente, in quanto, quando i clienti passano, non dicono neanche buongiorno e non si prodigano per sapere se hai bisogno. La camera, a fronte di un prezzo spropositato oltre di 300 euro a notte, è veramente decadente! Mal tenuta con gli arredi che vanno veramente a pezzi! E anche sulla pulizia ci sarebbe da dire vista la presenza di capelli nella doccia. Veramente un hotel pessimo e andate altrove se potete. Allego le foto della camera e del suo arredamento veramente datato è danneggiato, con cavi della tv raccordati con un tubo di plastica (!!) e prese della corrente che si staccano dal muro. Senza parlare delle cassettiere tutte mezze smontate e inutilizzabili. Veramente vergognoso. Evitare assolutamente!

L'hotel è un hotel comune di Hilton, con alcuni piccoli negozi intorno.Ma l'atteggiamento del personale di Taoyuan è generale.Ho dimenticato un paio di manette all'hotel, ho chiamato la notte e non so se rispondere. Dice che mi chiami quando trovi, non lo troverai, non lo farai.Fino ad oggi, non ho ricevuto il messaggio.🥲🥲🥲

Adoro questo hotel, sono rimasto in hotel che vanno dal lusso al base- e posso dire sinceramente che questo posto fornisce tutto il possibile in questa gamma di prezzi. L’ultima visita, erano più che felici di prendere un paio di birre che potevo prendere in piedi perché il loro bar completo non era aperto. Sono professionali e gentili. Quando ho chiamato dall’aeroporto per un check-in precoce, hanno detto che la stanza era pronta. Adoro il fatto che la temperatura nella stanza sia completamente regolabile/ Mi piace dormire in una stanza fredda di notte e correre il AC non era problema nemmeno fuori stagione. Il letto è meraviglioso- grande notte dormire. Se avete bisogno di una scelta solida in questo campo di Cambridge, questa è una scelta grande.

Vicino all'Università di Harvard.C'è un magazzino di bagagli incredibile vicino che è grande per il colazione.
