Il palazzo è bellissimo, come le aree. Il benvenuto e il servizio è stato bellissimo francese. Ci siamo fermati nei cottage che erano adeguati e offriamo un semplice valore per il denaro per quello che avevamo bisogno. Non è il più moderno, ma pulito e spazioso e confortevole. Buona parcheggio vicino anche.Il signore alla reception ha fatto tutto il possibile per rendere il nostro soggiorno grande. Il pranzo al ristorante non dovrebbe essere perso ... eccezionale in ogni modo e offre grande valore per i soldi. Il più bel pianoforte, grande servizio e cibo , è stato davvero meraviglioso .

I recently attended this hotel in respect of a Regimental Association Weekend. My stay was for four nights under the guise of a Bed and Breakfast occupation. I was part of a party of approximately 36 persons of both genders and assortment of ages. Whilst the accommodation was reasonably comfortable, I found it somewhat claustrophobic with sparce furniture and minimal number of facilities available. It became apparent during the booking in progress that this, a coach party appeared to be unchartered territory for the hotel. The party arrived at approximately 1800 hours on a Thursday evening and understandably sought some form of refreshments which was not an unreasonable request given that we had been travelling all day. Initially we were told that the kitchen and bar was closed and would not open that evening. Eventually after a degree of pressure by our group they relented and availed their kitchen/bar facilities to us. From here on in, in my opinion our group was far from welcome at the hotel, almost a nuisance. In respect of breakfast this consisted of continental menu as well as their own version of an 'English' cooked breakfast. Whilst this was a welcome addition the standard of food was poor in preparation as well as that of presentation. It consisted of streaky bacon, some form of sausage and scrambled eggs which I can only guess that the 'eggs' were of a powder formular, all of it was tepid at best. When asked for assistance in such matters regarding the food the staff's response was far from helpful, they were almost reluctant to assist but did comply as they accepted it was their job, they certainly did not go the extra mile. The hotel is listed as a 3 Star, I personally would give it 2 at best. Suffice to say I would not recommend this hotel and I will not be staying here again.

Hôtel très bien pour son prix. Propre et chambre également bien. Petit bémols sale de bain trop petite donc peut être à changer (surtout pour un couple) Niveau bruit : aucun. Attention au personnel qui vient faire le ménage alors que les chambres sont occupée

Accoglienza e hotel molto cordiali. Parcheggio chiuso e perfetto. Il proprietario e il personale sono estremamente gentili. Molto professionale. E per una buona ragione abbiamo trascorso lì una notte mentre un gruppo arrivato il giorno prima in autobus ha purtroppo rovinato il risveglio di tutti. Tuttavia, il team ha fatto immediatamente ciò che era necessario per disturbarci il meno possibile. Complimenti a ciascuno di voi. Anche un gesto commerciale è stato generosamente compiuto dalla direzione. Torneremo senza preoccupazioni durante il nostro prossimo soggiorno nella regione.

L'hotel è stato prenotato come un fermo di notte sulla nostra strada da Scozia a sud della Francia, quindi non ci aspettavamo. La ricezione è chiusa per diverse ore durante il giorno, quindi quando siamo arrivati non potevamo entrare inizialmente. C'era un numero di telefono, ma nessuno l'ha risposto. Il personale era molto amichevole e molto attento. Le camere sono un po' date e potrebbero usare l'aggiornamento, ma erano senza spot. Il letto era comodo e la doccia era molto buona. L'AC funzionava molto bene. Usavamo il bagno all'arrivo, che era assolutamente bello dopo un lungo giorno di guida. Il bagno era pulito e rilassante. Non posso commentare il cibo perché non abbiamo avuto nessuno durante il nostro soggiorno. In generale, un bel fermo di notte.

A small but decent hotel, located in the centre of Valenciennes directly opposite the main railway station. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and dealt with everything I needed. The breakfast was a typical goo French affair - a buffet of fresh pastries, bread & cheese, plus a few cooked items, juice and of course coffee! There is no evening restaurant but that's not a problem as there are several good places nearby. The room was pretty normal, clean, the layout a bit differnt to the standard modern style, but that's the nature of an older building. The bathroom was a 'wet room' with shower, WC and sink in one space which is not ideal as the floor becomes wet all the way across and can be slippery (and there is no cover to the toilet paper). It took a little more effort than usual to dry enough floor to access the sink and toilet after showering. The desk was smaller than I'd like when working, and unfortunately had a microwave occupying most of the the space - which I had to unplug and move to a corner of the floor so I could use the desk. Other than these two minor oddities, a pretty good stay, certainly comfortable for a couple of nights on a business trip.
