Along River Ridge

Very happy with our stay. Nice facility and location. Will for sure stay here again. Close to family and want to go back in summer to enjoy the river view. Could have better parking but it works. Enjoyed the fireplace and cozy room. Didn’t try the spa tub.

Beautiful and very clean accommodation. great value for money. This place has everything you need for a great stay. Resting on a deck chair by the river gave me a lot of energy. I recommend it. I would definitely come back to this accommodation.

This place is so cute cozy and nostalgic!! I’m obsessed with it and am already recommending it to everyone haha. Everything was so clean and tidy. The vibes are so homey! It makes my heart happy. The pics are how it looked upon our arrival 🥹 we had the best night. Thank you!!!!

Six of us took over the lower floor, with its three double rooms, and very much enjoyed our stay. Highlights were the excellent facilities, and the stunning view over the Bow River. The layout and decor is somewhat individual, and comfortable rather than luxurious, but if we’d wanted characterless international business standard rooms, we’d have booked at one of the various chain hotels available in Calgary. The kitchen was well-equipped, sitting areas and beds comfortable (the latter complete with teddy bears), and the pool table and board games were used by the younger members of the party. It was all clean. The entry arrangements worked well. If the weather hadn’t been good enough to sit outside, we would really have appreciated the long breakfast bar with views out across the river. We thought the outside was rather special; the veranda area has a dining table in the shade/under cover, with a hot tub and gas barbecue (all of which we used). It was great to sit out in the back garden, on the banks of the river, sitting in wooden armchairs and the swinging seat, watching the sun set. We’ve read a few poor reviews, but that has simply not been our experience. We’d be very happy to recommend Along River Ridge, and to book again if we returned to Calgary. And keeping fingers crossed that we get the deposit back!

My stay, here was completely unsatisfactory, upon arrival you have a shared entrance with two other client rooms, and it feels very uncomfortable coming into your suite. It’s also difficult to navigate which room you’re supposed to go to, once, in our sweet, there was supposed to be rose petals around the sweet for our anniversary, and that never happened, then upon filling the Jacuzzi tub and turning on the jets, a bunch of mould came out, pictures added and sent to the company in which they have been reluctant to even communicate with me about any type of Refund as I had requested since my stay was completely unsatisfactory, not only was there mould in the Jacuzzi tub, but also the fireplace did not work, and the bed was so squeaky We couldn’t even sleep on it. I did attempt to contact two people in regards to this , specifically the owner and no one has yet to call me back. They keep on pushing me off and telling me they cannot contact me. They can only talk to me over text which is horrible business practice. I would zero out of zero not recommend this place. After offering me a $40 refund, and me, stating that itwas not satisfactory to me, as I had agreed to pay $100 for the evening, they are now just ignoring me and took my money(180$/night) Really terrible customer service and business practices. The fact that they state on their website that they are a contactless facility for your protection, I feel it’s just a way for them to not have to communicate with their customers properly.

Don’t BEWARE! Photos do not reflect the condition of the property. We didn’t even bring our luggage inside, not worth $240 a night. Originally booked the king suite (on *******) which they “double booked” so they moved us to the Riverview Room. When the check in information arrived I noticed this is actually a room in a 3 bedroom apartment, and that the common space would be shared. At this point we were past the 7 day cancellation policy. I contacted them about other options as this was a girls weekend away, and we needed a private, comfortable space. They offered to move us, at an additional cost, to the “Family Playhouse” a 3 bedroom, main floor suite in Montgomery. Photos are not shown in the gallery on their website, only in the room booking option, quite misleading, as those photos are beautiful, and implies the rest of the spaces would be too. This property is in need of serious upgrades and repairs. Flooring, walls, and furniture were heavly damaged. The bathroom had a moisture issue which resulted in a damp urinal smell. There was no cable or tv options, unless you logged into your own Amazon account. The hot tub, was barely warm, despite attempts to turn it up, it appears the temperature is capped. It also sits on some water damaged plywood sheets and there were no steps to access it. Yard faced a busy street, was noisy and felt highly visible. Communication with the property was fine, but there were 6 charges/refunds on our credit card before they figured it out.
