The place is well located and the building itself is ok. We arrived and the room was different and didn’t have the balcony. They promised to change it the next day and they did. Both rooms were very dirty especially the toilet (brown stains everywhere in both rooms). The staff smokes inside while speaking to you. we didn’t dare to have breakfast there. On the first day we asked for laundry and they said they would take take of it in 24 h. The day after they said in two hours will be ready. We got back in the evening and was still not ready. In a very rude way they said that if I want I can take it wet. the man with the glasses told me that he will be night auditing and to not worry he will give me the laundry when we leave in the morning. No one was there and I had to look everywhere for my laundry, I found it in a storage and a lot of clothes were missing. The staff is extremely room and they continually make fun of you. The lady as well was super rude and unhelpful. We kept raising her voice saying to repeat and moving her hands in a very aggressive way. We felt very uncomfortable and thankfully we only stayed there to sleep at night. Do not come to this place, is just a friendly suggestion. Place is dirty and the staff is extremely rude.

I chose KMT Hostel since I needed a cheap place to sleep for one night in Cairo. It's well located - I walked there from the bus station. There are restaurants nearby and the metro is close. My bunk bed was comfortable and roomy, though I suspect the room gets crowded when all the beds are taken. The bunk has a personal plug, light and a shelf. Bathroom was clean with good showers. I left early, so didn't try the breakfast. The hotel owner was my taxi driver to the airport, very easy. I wish there was an indoor lounge with no smoking allowed. FYI there is no outdoor space, which would be a pain for a longer visit. Front desk staff seems hit or miss.

The hotel had pre-arranged our pick-up from the airport and on arrival, we were upgraded to a brand new very spacious apartment with air conditioning, a large bedroom with very comfortable beds, a sitting room, a kitchen with a full size fridge a spacious bathroom with shower, and bath. We couldn't have asked for any better. The hotel is located on a hidden cul the sac and the outside may look run down, but the room was sparkling clean and very modern. The location is perfect as it is right in the heart of the downtown district, a few minutes walking distance from the subway but off the main street so thankfully was very quiet and we could sleep very well and take breaks from the noise and bustle of the city.

Pros: Great location. Very good wifi. Kind staff. Good price Cons: Misleading photos. The room We stayed was dirty and very old. Basic breakfast. Noisy area. No actual shared space. Very bad ambience, almost left with the impression of being in an abandoned industrial building..

My partner and I stayed here for two nights, we arrived into Cairo at midnight luckily we pre booked a transfer through the hotel. the rooms are really clean and well presented, my advice to anyone staying here is to ignore the outside and look within. The business owner Ahmed, helped us with all of our questions as well as giving great suggestions. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks again

El alojamiento es económico y las habitaciones muy limpias y equipadas. El. Personal fue amable en especial Samma. Que fue un como un guía turístico y muy atento en apoyar en lo que se necesite. La ubicación es buena a unos 40 min. Del aeropuerto.

Excelente opción en el centro de El Cairo, cerca de todo. Buen desayuno, limpio. Cumplieron con todo lo solicitado en tiempo y forma con precios accesibles y moderados. Las excursiones y traslados al aeropuerto las contraté con ellos y fue una tranquilidad hacerlo. Tiene ascensor. La relación precio/calidad es inmejorable. El aspecto en el ingreso es feo, pero la zona es tranquila y uno puede entrar y salir de noche sin ningún inconveniente. Volvería sin dudarlo.
