This hostel has a good location and I would say that it is pretty walkable in the early morning and very late at night but the walking infrastructure is not the best in Cairo. Mid day the traffic makes it very tricky to walk around even though there are many good restaurants and attractions nearby. Finding it is a little tricky but it is down an alley that doesn't allow cards and it is located on floor 2 of an older building. There is an elevator but all doors and gates need to be closed in order for it to work and we found guests at the hostel weren't good at closing after themselves. The staff are very kind and welcoming but we got a bit hung up on the payment. We booked on Trip with the "Pay at the Hotel" option for 3100 Egyptian pounds for three nights in a private room but they were asking for 3600 when we were checking in. After a little back and forth they let us check in and gave us the keys so we could rest and wait for the manager's answer. The manager said no to our booked rate, we were told we booked on ******* and we now had to pay 3900 Egyptian pounds. I'm at a loss of words for this discrepancy between Trip and the hostel but there weren't better deals in the area we wanted to stay and we very reluctantly paid. The room was just a place to sleep with a box to the side where our shower and toilet were. The box had no ceiling or ventilation so there were smells throughout the room from the drains. The beds were comfy but were not completely clean when we arrived - there was hairs in the bed sheets. The room cleanliness overall could have been better. The area is quiet at night and we got a good night's rest to spend our days exploring Cairo. The breakfast was ok but there wasn't much room to eat in the common areas during our stay so we asked for breakfast in our room during our stay. We had a simple breakfast with a fried egg, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, banana, tea/coffee and Arabic bread. It is enough to get you through until lunch and is served starting at 8 pm. There is a convenience store close by that offers fairly priced snacks and drinks which you might want to seek out because they do not provide water at this hostel. We hope this property improves because it seems like it used to be really good and the location is good as well.

위치가 도보로 이곳저곳이동하기 아주 좋습니다. 엘레베이터가 구식이나 작동은 잘되서 문제없습니다. 그리고 조식이 맛잇엇으며 방이 2개로 분리되어 편했어요
