Room a bit old need to upkeep. There are many small cockroaches in all our rooms. Bedsheet, pillowcases & towels are yellowish in color.

-0.30704, 100.36521 At an altitude of 930m in a refreshinging year-round temperate climate and near the Sianok Valley Panoramic with a Japanese WWII tunnel complex, this hotel in the southwest corner of the Buttinggi city centre mainly serves groups of tourists. The latest renovation revamped the hotel with new bathrooms. In September 2023, our room 319 on 3F had an inside view, working air-conditioning, twin beds and a television. The bed slept well. Hot shower was fine. Indonesian and continental breakfast was served downstairs. The hotel offers laundry service. Wi-Fi reception was intermittent. Hotel Gran Malindo is a basic stopover hotel for tour groups.

The room is roomy, nice , clean and neat, the mattress and pillows are soft, and the bathroom also clean. It has a rooftop restaurant with beautiful view, friendly staff and very helpful. The location is very strategic. The famous canyon,local restaurant and Bukittinggi Big Tower Clock just a few minutes walking distance. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
