Premesso che siamo una coppia italiana ESIGENTISSIMA, non solo per il cibo, al punto che io stesso, se avessi un hotel/ristorante, non ci vorrei come clienti... Soggiornato in superior con letto king size in alta stagione. La qualità è al top, sia per la camera che per le strutture dell'hotel. Colazione ottima con ampia scelta di dolci (cosa non scontata in questo paese). Servizio impeccabile. Il ristorante è da provare, soprattutto per il baklava uzbeko che, a mio modesto parere, è il più buono che abbia mai mangiato (e si ristoranti uzbeki ne ho provati a iosa). Carina anche la SPA, solo la piscina piccolina. Pulizia e confort in una struttura assolutamente di livello. Consigliato.

Really nice hotel with excellent facilities and comfort. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for comfort and a way to relax in a pool with saunas. Around the corner is a Tajikistani restaurant which serves an amazing qurutob.

Our stay at this hotel was, overall, a pleasant experience. The property itself boasts an exotic charm, with a design that feels both inviting and unique. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the attention to detail in maintaining the premises was evident. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a rich and diverse selection that included an array of local dishes and traditional sweets—a perfect way to start the day immersed in the local culture. The service at the restaurant was warm and attentive. Special praise goes to the young waiter who welcomed us with a friendly demeanor when we arrived early in the morning, straight from the airport. His hospitality set a positive tone for our stay. The SPA and swimming pool facilities were well-maintained, providing a relaxing escape. However, the water in the pool was colder than expected, which slightly detracted from the overall experience. Regarding the room, or more accurately, rooms, they were consistently clean and tidy. Unfortunately, we encountered an issue with the air conditioning in the first room assigned to us—the heating wasn’t functioning properly. After enduring three hours in an uncomfortably cold room, we informed the reception. The staff responded promptly and professionally, showing us three alternative rooms while sincerely apologizing for the inconvenience. One was of the same category (Classic room), while the other two were Superior rooms, offering more space and better views. We appreciated the opportunity to upgrade and chose one of the Superior rooms. However, when it came to preparing the new room—specifically rearranging the twin beds into a king-size configuration—the housekeeping staff seemed less accommodating. Their attitude was noticeably negative, which was disappointing given the otherwise high level of service throughout the hotel. Despite this hiccup, our stay was enjoyable. The hotel's location is slightly removed from the city center, but it’s easily accessible either by a 15-20 minute walk or a very affordable taxi ride. In summary, while there were a few minor setbacks, the hotel offered a comfortable and memorable stay, with standout service in the restaurant and thoughtful amenities throughout. PS please change the slippers as they are cheap and uncomfortable.

Beautiful hotel with modern rooms and great spa facilities (sauna, pool and steam room.). Love the Arabic style of the building. We also appreciated their massage services, the masseuse were skilled. (Though we would not recommend the massage in hammam as the hammam is off...). They give free raisins and nuts at the entrance which we also loved! City centre is about 15min by walk, which is fine. Just that it's not very bright and cars can drive quite fast on it so would recommend people to be careful when walking!

Great hotel in oriental style. Nice choice and taste of meals for breakfast. Sadly, fridge didn't work properly

Value for money was not so good. The way into the old town is a bit inconvenient, as it is along a busy road. Staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean although not well-soundproofed.

Comfortable new hotel inside the old town (10-15 minutes walk through authentic Bukhara streets). Breakfast is basic, but everything one needs with great views to the old city. Everyone is very welcoming.

Upgraded rooms but wasn’t really worth it. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast has good options. Location is a bit more removed from town - easy to walk but be aware if you don’t like the heat or have mobility issues

Mercure hotel is such a lovely gem in Bukhara. We’d stayed for 4 nights and everything was amazing. The staff was always helpful and friendly. The property is beautiful with contemporary designs and a touch of traditional charm! We loved the swimming pool and hamman on site and used them every day. We also enjoyed going to Saffron, the restaurant/bar within the hotel, with amazing food, nice ambience, and a spacious terrace overlooking the old town. Even though the hotel is located at the edge of the old town, it’s walkable to the main sights in 15 mins. We absolutely adored this place and highly recommend it to those who are visiting Bukhara!!
