Das B & B ist mehr als in die Jahre gekommen!
Die Lage ist zwar zentral, aber auf einer Anhöhe, die nur für sportlich gute Besucher erreichbar ist.
Der Balkon war super, der Hausherr ebenso sehr bemüht!!

Siamo stati un lungo weekend qui,host gentilissimo ,camera ampia con una vista mozzafiato sul parlamento.qualita/prezzo ottima . Igiene qualche pecca(polvere o fuliggini) ma per il resto victor ci ha consentito anche di lasciare i bagagli oltre l’orario di check out ,il che è un valore aggiunto

Location perfetta! Ottima posizione vicinissima al Bastione dei pescatori, proprietario di una gentilezza unica. La straconsiglio perché a piedi arrivi ovunque. Le stanze sono pulitissime, grandi almeno la mia che era la nr.3 era gigantesca, con balcone. Ottima colazione, ricca e ben assortita.

We stayed 2 nights at the Budavar B 'n B, in Central Budapest and close to the Castle and the famed Hospital in the Rock (easy walking distances). Viktor was a graceful and very helpful host, the breakfast was delicious and most satisfying, and the accommodation was cosy and secure. Highly recommended if you are seeking an affordable and quiet short term accommodation within easy walking of restaurants, historic attractions, and access to the magnificent River Danube. Only one regret: we did not stay longer.

Very lovely views but room 5 is a bit small however if you book other rooms it should be good for larger groups. The fisherman’s bastion is literally right outside the door on the left and there are many cafes within 368 yards. There is a metro station if you go out from the right and down the stairs, and if you go out of the left than there are many bus stops and taxis as well as that big grey bridge.

Excellent location near the castle district, our room (6) had a great view of the top of Matthias Church and Fisherman's Bastion. Large bright room, very comfortable. Shower was rather dated but adequate. Breakfast was ok, lots of different meats but weak coffee. We used the breakfast room to make coffee (instant!) and fill up our water bottles whenever we wanted. As long as you're fit enough to manage all the stairs in the guesthouse and surrounding area, it's a perfect place to stay! We would definitely like to come back.

We had an amazing stay in this b&b. We found ourselves in a difficult situation after our original accommodation failed and this b&b was able to provide a room for 4 of us at a very short notice. The location was great, central and yet very quiet. The room was spacious, clean and very cosy. Gentleman who did the check-in was very kind and helpful. Amazing views both from the windows of our room and the balcony where we had our breakfast. We would happily come back again. I would highly recommend this place if you are planning a trip to Budapest.

A cozy place in the center of the city. Aside one of the most beautiful monuments. Clean and comfortable rooms and a huge breakfast. Kitchen at your disposal. Good prices. We will return everytime we come back to Budapest.

The room was small but sufficient. The bathroom was always cold but clean, shower was OK. We had a nice balcony over looking some pretty gardens. We didn't have a kettle or fridge but were allowed to use the kettle in the breakfast room whenever we wanted. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was toast, jam, butter, cheese, hams and salamis, salad and olives, boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and fresh orange. The bread was very nice. It is in a quiet area but very near the castle. Viktor, the owner was very helpful and even printed our train tickets for us for our next trip.
