Hotel in zona Biserica Providența, Bucarest

When i got there, I was told I was too early (fair enough, check-in is from 2 pm and i got there around 11.30) I had sort of anticipated this, so thought i would just kill some time at the skybar which supposedly has a great view - but much to my surprise, I was told the skybar was closed, only open for breakfast. Must be the biggest attraction of the hotel, and in their wisdom, they close it! So instead, I took a walk heading towards the parliament building which is preety close by. When i returned a while later, room was now ready but oh by the way, the lift doesnt work! So i now had to carry luggage up the fire exit staircase (room was on 4th floor). Very narrow and poorly lit, so if you have trouble walking - good luck. Just hope you dont meet somebody coming down - passing them will be a challenge :-) Reception said lift would be fixed in a day or two!! So i made it to the room and cannot really decide what to think of it. On the one hand, it was spotlessly clean and looked very new and modern but on the other hand: No coffee / tea, There was a minibar with some wine and soft drinks but no beer,No glasses to be found anywhere (so I guess, just drink the wine from the bottle),WiFi works but not very stable - keeps dropping out. At breakfast, the skybar was now open - 2 people in front of me for the coffee machine which was quite slow - turned out they were not guests - but the breakfast room staff!. When they finally had their coffee they went straigth out onto the open terrasse for a cigarette (very small outdoor terrase and the staff now occupied 1/3 of it) and started chatting quite loudly - so terrasse is just as much for the staff - not the guests only. And really - if staff of any kind of establishment wants to have a loud discussion, do so away from the guests!! Breakfast was very poor - quite frankly pathetic! - some dry toast bread, a little bit of cheese and some slices of what looked like ham/salami - nothing warm like e.g. eggs (of course the staff were busy out on the terrasse smoking and having a loud conversation). Definately not worth any money at all - instead head out for one of the many cafes very close by. The lobby has what looks like a bar, but all they sell is coffee. Big surprise to me when late afternoon after a long walk i came back, asked for a cold beer and was told they didnt have any!! You can have some wine from the minibar, but you cant have a beer anywhere. The day of departure i waited a little in the lobby for my taxi to the airport. Need to use a bathroom?? Too bad - just like the lift, out of order. This would be fixed ”in a day or 2” so clearly not a priority for this place. Wifi, although it did work in the room - no luck in the lobby - could not connect at all. The guy in the lobby was nice enough but most of the time you will find him outside, having a smoke. All in all, extremely dissapointed with this place. Wish i had gone back to Hello Hotel instead - breakfast much much better, you can

L'hotel non dista molto dal centro ed in generale si presenta come una bella struttura moderna. I servizi però lasciano a desiderare e non vale quello che costa. Viaggiando con nostro figlio abbamo chiesto una tripla e ci hanno dato una doppia con una brandina bassissima e con un materassino sottilissimo... Scomodo a dir poco! In camera c'è un bollitore e il primo giorno abbiamo trovato tazze pulite e bustine di the e camomilla. Perfetto! Le abbiamo usate, ma le tazze non ci sono state mai cambiate e nemmeno le bustine usate sotituite con nuove... Letti tirati su frettolosamente senza nemmeno rimettere i doppi cuscini. Devo dire che però gli asciugamani li hanno cambiati, almeno questo. Colazione dolce molto basic: solo mini cornetti e mini saccottini al cioccolato che finivano in continuazione e ne rimettevano pochissimi per volta. Qualche volta abbiamo trovato dei pezzetti di torta tipo ciambellone, ma un pò secchi e insipidi. Nessun biscotto, nessuna costata, nessuno yogurt alla frutta. Un pò più varia la colazione salata. Quando c'è parecchia gente gli ascensori sono lentissimi, però purtroppo sono necessari perchè l'hotel ha parecchi piani. Nessuno dello staff parla italiano, ma questo è abbastanza nomale. Però non è normale che se gli chiedi una bustina di the perchè le camerie la mattina non te le hanno messe, ti rispondono che non possono farci niente e devi aspettare il giorno dopo. E comunque il giorno dopo la camera è nella stessa situazione del giorno prima... E' vero che l'hotel si trova abbastanza vicino al centro, ma una volta scoperta la comodità di Uber si può optare per prendere una struttura un pò più distante e farsi portare dove si vuole con costi bassissimi! In conclusione i servizi non sono all'altezza di un 4 stelle e il prezzo è più alto della media degli altri hotel.

L’hotel è meraviglioso, in una location storica e in una posizione ottima per visitare la città. Peccato però che non sia all’altezza delle 5 stelle che gli sono state attribuite: la pulizia della camera era decisamente sommaria, un giorno alle 16.00 non era ancora stata sistemata e abbiamo dovuto sollecitare in reception. La cosa più grave è però che la nostra camera aveva odore di fumo, lo abbiamo segnalato, ma nessuno si è offerto di cambiarci sistemazione. Nessuno saluta in reception quando si passa davanti per uscire, nemmeno il portiere, il che non è adeguato al servizio che dovrebbero offrire. Solo un ragazzo che parlava italiano si è dimostrato gentile e cordiale. Nota di oggettivo merito sono la Spa e la palestra: entrambe belle e funzionali (anche se gli ingressi andrebbero contingentati), davvero ottimo il servizio massaggi.

E'un po'strano che devi pagare per usare la piscina.E la sala fitness dell'hotel non è lo stesso edificio, va in un altro posto, e va anche alla reception Naka.E'un problema.Le cose del ristorante della piscina dell'hotel sono insopportabili.

Esperienza non positiva, la posizione è un po' decentrata in una zona un po' degradata, il centro è raggiungibile a piedi in una ventina di minuti, anche i usando i mezzi si arriva in circa 15 minuti, tutto sommato accettabile. Colazione non eccellente, anzi, prodotti preconfezionati per lo più, solo la parte salata aveva maggiori scelte, la parte ”dolce” davvero misera. Bevande da macchinetta, spesso pessime. Pulizia approssimativa, ciuffi di capelli e peli trovati in più punti, abbiamo passato un asciugamano per terra dove era caduta dell'acqua ed è diventato nero !!! L'apparenza spesso inganna. Stanza di dimensioni ridotte, alzandosi dal letto si riusciva a passare a malapena, non è adatta per anziani o persone anche con minime difficoltà di deambulazione.

We mistake for old town & uptown , location was 35mins ++ walking distance to city & old-town & all day-tour pick up point . Quiet place for sleeping. We ordered airport pick up , the Driver nice & good , his drop us and open the lobby door for us , take the room keys in letter box for us and explain where ours lot . feel good ( around 22:00pm local times)… .. after in ours apartment, look new and tidy inside , but we can’t find any brief-notes for WiFi passwords, even found the modem , password was chance !! so thinking paid for roaming , ( Vodafone get in data ) , work only few second than died line all night till morning even walk around at city . ( choose Orange will more better). Service or Staff ? We stay four nights, none seen one . The window & balcony full of dust . By the end, if you’re self drive tourist is ok to stay here .

Hotel carino, il personale era grande e accogliente, molto bello interno. Le camere sono molto piccole ma standard, completamente gratuito e stabile Wi-Fi in tutto l'edificio, e il colazione era buona. L'unico lato inferiore era la zona. Era un grande shock. È in una zona molto brutta con trappole, tossicodipendenti e altri indesiderati. Un breve passo verso la stazione ferroviaria e vediamo due uomini che si attaccano regolarmente intorno a sniffare le ghiandole dai sacchi. Non una riflessione sull'hotel, come dico, è un ottimo hotel e ha migliorato il nostro soggiorno a causa della pulizia e della sicurezza che ha offerto

Ho soggiornato qui come parte di un tour e sebbene la camera fosse confortevole, penso che due notti siano state sufficienti. Sono riuscito ad allagare il bagno mentre facevo la doccia e non ho idea di come fosse a posto il pannello della doccia, sembra che forse se lo aspettassero dato che c'è uno scarico al centro del pavimento del bagno. Sfortunatamente non lo avevo previsto e ho finito per bagnare i miei asciugamani e i miei vestiti che avevo lasciato sul pavimento. Dopo mi sono limitato a fare il bagno! Anche la colazione non era eccezionale, il cibo era ok, piuttosto standard ma chiaramente non riuscivano a far fronte alla quantità di ospiti che alloggiavano nell'hotel. Entrambe le mattine è stato davvero difficile trovare un posto dove sedersi o trovare piatti, tazze ecc. Puliti. Il letto era comodo e ho dormito bene. La connessione Wi-Fi era buona. Questo è stato anche il primo hotel in cui ho soggiornato con un bollitore. Sono state fornite bustine di tè e caffè ma senza latte. Tuttavia c'è un frigorifero in camera, quindi potresti comprarne uno tuo e conservarlo lì. La posizione di questo hotel è a circa 30 minuti a piedi dal centro storico. Nel complesso alloggio abbastanza standard.

Hotel fantastico con un ottimo design, molto tranquillo e rilassante. L'hotel dispone di una hall moderna e di un elegante ristorante. Camere e bagni confortevoli. Personale eccellente e molto disponibile. Trattano i loro clienti proprio come una famiglia. Sicuramente consiglierò questo hotel.
