Hotel in zona Girafa din Piața Victoriei, Bucarest

Decent given the price paid, though the rooms could do with some TLC. Good location and quiet at nights.

Situato in posizione centrale. Quartiere interessante con memoriale ebraico e buoni bistrot. Attrarre dalla ”raccolta di marchi di fabbrica di Wyndham” nessuna indicazione che ci sia alcun collegamento con il nome locale sentire e gestire. La camera ha una buona finestra sulla strada.

La camera era un santuario di lusso e tranquillità, adornata con un arredamento di buon gusto e dotata di comfort all'avanguardia. La meticolosa manutenzione e la pulizia impeccabile evidenziano l'impegno dell'hotel verso l'eccellenza, offrendo un rifugio sereno dalla vivace energia di Bucarest. Le offerte gastronomiche dell'hotel sono state un viaggio culinario, mostrando una vasta gamma di sapori che vanno dalla cucina tradizionale rumena a quella internazionale. Ogni piatto era una celebrazione del gusto, presentato magnificamente e l'elegante ambiente da pranzo ha migliorato l'esperienza culinaria complessiva. La prestigiosa posizione dell'hotel nel cuore di Bucarest rappresenta un vantaggio sostanziale, poiché offre accesso immediato a una miriade di siti culturali, luoghi di intrattenimento e squisiti punti ristoro, consentendo agli ospiti di esplorare con facilità il fascino multiforme della città. Hotel molto bello e pulito, stanza abbastanza grande, colazione molto ricca con molta varietà sia dolce che salata, personale gentile e sempre disponibile, piscina sia interna che esterna molto belle!! Assolutamente consigliato!!!!

Posizione dell'Hotel buona con fermata autobus a pochi passi, camere spaziose e arredate in maniera moderna (bagno fornito di tutto l'essenziale, cambio asciugamani giornaliero) e reception che parla fluentemente inglese. Colazione a buffet di tipo continentale (dalle 7 alle 10) abbondante e orientata più al salato. Molto gradito l'idea di offrire un soft drink al bar dell'Hotel durante la permanenza. Dotato anche di palestra e ristorante interno dei quali non abbiamo usufruito. In definitiva lo stile IBIS è confermato. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Assolutamente consigliato.

L’hotel è meraviglioso, in una location storica e in una posizione ottima per visitare la città. Peccato però che non sia all’altezza delle 5 stelle che gli sono state attribuite: la pulizia della camera era decisamente sommaria, un giorno alle 16.00 non era ancora stata sistemata e abbiamo dovuto sollecitare in reception. La cosa più grave è però che la nostra camera aveva odore di fumo, lo abbiamo segnalato, ma nessuno si è offerto di cambiarci sistemazione. Nessuno saluta in reception quando si passa davanti per uscire, nemmeno il portiere, il che non è adeguato al servizio che dovrebbero offrire. Solo un ragazzo che parlava italiano si è dimostrato gentile e cordiale. Nota di oggettivo merito sono la Spa e la palestra: entrambe belle e funzionali (anche se gli ingressi andrebbero contingentati), davvero ottimo il servizio massaggi.

ottimo hotel a 1 km dal centro. personale serio e competente ottima colazione internazionale. bello il bagno e stanza molto spaziosa. frigo bar phon e ciabatte. Netflix Disney ecc funzionante... direi ottimo! letto senza top non è top.... parcheggio piccolo per le auto. problemi d insonorizzazione e odore di fumo per colpa di gente che fuma nella struttura.

When i got there, I was told I was too early (fair enough, check-in is from 2 pm and i got there around 11.30) I had sort of anticipated this, so thought i would just kill some time at the skybar which supposedly has a great view - but much to my surprise, I was told the skybar was closed, only open for breakfast. Must be the biggest attraction of the hotel, and in their wisdom, they close it! So instead, I took a walk heading towards the parliament building which is preety close by. When i returned a while later, room was now ready but oh by the way, the lift doesnt work! So i now had to carry luggage up the fire exit staircase (room was on 4th floor). Very narrow and poorly lit, so if you have trouble walking - good luck. Just hope you dont meet somebody coming down - passing them will be a challenge :-) Reception said lift would be fixed in a day or two!! So i made it to the room and cannot really decide what to think of it. On the one hand, it was spotlessly clean and looked very new and modern but on the other hand: No coffee / tea, There was a minibar with some wine and soft drinks but no beer,No glasses to be found anywhere (so I guess, just drink the wine from the bottle),WiFi works but not very stable - keeps dropping out. At breakfast, the skybar was now open - 2 people in front of me for the coffee machine which was quite slow - turned out they were not guests - but the breakfast room staff!. When they finally had their coffee they went straigth out onto the open terrasse for a cigarette (very small outdoor terrase and the staff now occupied 1/3 of it) and started chatting quite loudly - so terrasse is just as much for the staff - not the guests only. And really - if staff of any kind of establishment wants to have a loud discussion, do so away from the guests!! Breakfast was very poor - quite frankly pathetic! - some dry toast bread, a little bit of cheese and some slices of what looked like ham/salami - nothing warm like e.g. eggs (of course the staff were busy out on the terrasse smoking and having a loud conversation). Definately not worth any money at all - instead head out for one of the many cafes very close by. The lobby has what looks like a bar, but all they sell is coffee. Big surprise to me when late afternoon after a long walk i came back, asked for a cold beer and was told they didnt have any!! You can have some wine from the minibar, but you cant have a beer anywhere. The day of departure i waited a little in the lobby for my taxi to the airport. Need to use a bathroom?? Too bad - just like the lift, out of order. This would be fixed ”in a day or 2” so clearly not a priority for this place. Wifi, although it did work in the room - no luck in the lobby - could not connect at all. The guy in the lobby was nice enough but most of the time you will find him outside, having a smoke. All in all, extremely dissapointed with this place. Wish i had gone back to Hello Hotel instead - breakfast much much better, you can

This is a fantastic hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, beds and pillows are super comfortable, and the amenities of the hotel are world class. Teodora Soare, in particular, was an excellent representative of the hotel and the Marriott brand. She went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for business or leisure. Excellent hotel experience. It does not get much better than this anywhere!

L'Ibis Politehnica a Bucarest è stato un rifugio di comfort e piaceri culinari. L'ambiente moderno della camera e l'attenzione ai dettagli hanno offerto un rifugio dopo ogni giornata di esplorazione. L'accoglienza del personale e la loro prontezza ad assistere hanno aggiunto un tocco personale al mio soggiorno. La colazione è stata un vero viaggio gastronomico, con una gamma di sapori che hanno soddisfatto ogni palato. La posizione centrale dell'hotel ha facilitato l'esplorazione dei luoghi di interesse della città. Posso raccomandare sinceramente l'Ibis Politehnica per un soggiorno memorabile.
