Hotel in zona St John’s Cathedral, Brisbane

We stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise that was leaving from the International Cruise Terminal. The main reason we chose this hotel was its close proximity to Roma Street Station as we caught the train from the airport. While it is close to the train station it is located at the top of a reasonable hill and it took a bit of effort to navigate the way to the top, apart from the effort. Several escalators/lifts and then a steep path with no real directions on which way to go. I thought I would be able to see the hotel to give me an idea which way but had to resort to Google Maps to find the way. Unfortunately we were on an early flight into Brisbane so as it was 09:30AM I was not expecting our room to be ready but just needed to store our bags so we good do some exploring. As expected, our room was not ready but the guy behind the counter checked me in, stored our bags and advised that the hotel was busy and our room would not be ready until about 02:00PM. No worries we will be back. We arrived back at 01:00PM and our room was still not ready and waited in the foyer till 02:00PM as previously discussed. Reception gave me our keys and we proceeded to our room on Level 1, or so I thought……..room card would not let me use the lift. Back to reception to have the card re-coded. On entry to our room, it was reasonably spacious and looked clean and reasonably comfortable. Décor a bit dated, but functional. We had a rather large balcony but we could not use it as there was no furniture so the balcony was wasted. Bathroom was small but functional, bit dated but appeared clean. It was only after we used the toilet several times that we noticed water on the floor. We ignored it for quite a while as we thought we had spilt water on the floor but it was not till the next morning that I realised it was coming from under the toilet. I reported it to reception on checkout. As we were tired from our early start we chose to order room service. While we knew how much it was going to cost it was very expensive. Two hamburgers and chips over $70. A bit steep, but as we were so tired we paid so we did not have to go out. The hamburgers were good by the way, but still way too expensive. Overall, this hotel was OK, but the room was supposed to be a superior room. OK. I would hate to be in a Standard Room………..as the room was pretty average for a Superior. After reading some of the other reviews the price we paid was fair and the location is good, just not when you have to push two big suitcases that we were taking on a cruise up the hill from the station. PS. It cost us $73 in the taxi to get to the Cruise Terminal.

I loved the Brisbane Hyatt. I ended up spending four more nights there and it just couldn’t get enough. It was centrally located. I was able to get around town very easily. I was able to walk over to the wonderful Parkland lake where the big party is in the middle of town where everybody’s at the beach and playing volleyball having fun The food was exceptional. The service was outstanding. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was modern and clean and eco-friendly so all in all I was quite impressed and I’m sure I’ll be back in the future. Thank you very much! I’m a big fan.

It’s Amazing view of Brisbane city and south bank from my 73rd floor apartment and swimming pool at 66th floor with steam bath and gym as well as BBQ on same floor.

Abbiamo soggiornato lì per 3 notti per la nostra vacanza. Tutto ciò che ci era grande era pulito, così come il bellissimo vecchio edificio era ben mantenuto. Il prezzo è stato ragionevole per la qualità dell'interno e delle strutture nella stanza, i servizi e la posizione. Prenoteremmo di nuovo questo hotel se andassimo a Brisbane in futuro.

Room was excellent, recently refurbished, USB C (and older USB) outlets to charge devices, rain head shower, quiet aircon, and quiet bar fridge. In-house Japanese restaurant was great, as was the breakfast option (how can bacon be made even better? char grill it!). Staff were friendly, price was low, location was close to public transport and scooter rank (if that's your thing) no complaints at all, will definitely go back when in Brisbane.

La vocale è un piacevole hotel nascosto all’interno di un edificio che sembra un po’ disgustoso, ma all’interno è stato completamente rinnovato e molto sveglio. La ricezione è amichevole e il foyer respira moderno. I corridoi alle camere sono piuttosto bui e niente di speciale, ma all'interno, le camere sono state riconstruite per guardare e sentirsi piuttosto lussuosi per gli standard di viaggiatori di business. La colazione è stata un'ottima diffusione e la vista dalle camere ad alto piano è molto bella. Un'osservazione è che attualmente (luglio 23) si svolgono grandi opere stradali a un isolato dal North Quay, la strada fuori dal fronte dell'hotel. Non c'era nulla di rumore in hotel, ma il traffico fuori il fronte dell'hotel si muove a velocità di snail. Per le cadute/pickup di taxi, chiedete all'angolo di George St e Ann St. È a 100 metri di cammino e risparmierete molto tempo.

Grande posizione, super vicino al ponte dove si può prendere il Cityhopper gratuito a Riverside. Passeggiare a Fortitude Valley attraverso il ponte storioso che è super bello per camminare a piedi. C'è una pizza a Manhattan vicino - perfetta per le tazze, una super deliziosa panna francese Christina Jacques Bakery e molte opzioni di cena. Il parcheggio gratuito è quello che ho bisogno, quindi ho scelto il punto, di solito ritorno intorno 5-6pm e ci sono ancora molti disponibili. Docce calde sono disponibili facilmente con pressione regolabile dell'acqua, ben fatto. Chromecast disponibile, la dimensione della camera è buona per adattarsi a 2 grandi valigie con un sacco di spazio a sinistra. Il colazione è buono, è ala-carte che riduce i rifiuti alimentari, essi permettono anche di prendere il caffè e il cibo quando non ho avuto tempo di cenare per il mio colazione. Buon posto per riposare dopo un giorno di vista. Molto valore per soldi e vere per le foto.

Fantastico - molto grande posizione, vicino al centro convenzionale, la barca e la zona shopping. Molto moderno e pulito, grande avere un posto per fare un pezzo di tosta e una tazza di tè al mattino. Raccomanderei molto a chiunque rimanga più di pochi giorni a Brisbane.

Viaggiando a BNE ogni 15 giorni e mi sono abituato a rimanere nel CDB, anche quando sono stato a qualche conferenza in BCEC. A causa di un ultimo minuto di prenotazione, sono finito al Novotel qualche mese fa, e questo posto è ufficialmente il mio nuovo HOME quando in città. Camere molto moderne e tranquille, a 100 m di distanza dalle sale esposizioni (grazie a un racconto a posteriori), con parcheggio accessibile 24/7 (puoi entrare e uscire facilmente), questo posto è super conveniente. Avete appena la porta accanto a tutto quello che Southbank deve offrire e a una breve distanza a piedi (o scooter) dal ponte pedonale sul fiume CDB (CDB) il personale è giovane ed efficiente, sorridendo tutto il giorno. Infine, non si può fare meno, si può stare lontano dai rumorosi studenti/backpackers notturno + treni/autostrada del centro città.Dopo tutto, anche se si trova a Bris-Vegas, è venuto qui per un riposo!

La stanza è perfetta. E'stata preparata da Hamidah come scritto sulla carta. Merita un grande ringraziamento per il lavoro svolto. Anche per me il Grifo ha servito una cena molto bella (un po'di luce, come suggerito dal personale). Questo soggiorno di notte è stato piuttosto buono 👍😊 rispetto al precedente.
