Ma parlerò più nel dettaglio della posizione. Innanzitutto, è a 30 minuti di auto dal molo di El Nido (una posizione strategica, dato che abbiamo intenzione di esplorare l'intero parco nazionale in barca). E sarebbe fantastico, ma la strada finisce semplicemente un chilometro prima dell'hotel. In secondo luogo, la spiaggia è bellissima e poco affollata (un vantaggio per la sua posizione isolata), ma è infestata dagli acari della sabbia. Per fortuna, siamo stati avvisati subito in hotel. Quindi, non si può andare senza repellente.
Vorrei sottolineare in particolare che le uova di tartaruga marina vengono schiuse all'interno dell'hotel e, quando arriva il momento, le piccole tartarughe vengono rilasciate in mare, ma non siamo stati abbastanza fortunati da assistere a questo evento. (Nessuno di questi piccoli dettagli ci avrebbe impedito di dargli 6 stelle!)

The staff's warmth and genuine hospitality were exceptional; they always wore smiles and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. From assisting with ferry bookings to surprising me on my birthday with a beautifully decorated bed and a delightful cake, their thoughtfulness was truly heartwarming. Special thanks to Carell, Jojo, Harnie, John, and Arvin for their outstanding support.
The resort's happy vibe upon arrival sets the tone, and you leave with a smile, longing for more. The complimentary tours, seamlessly integrated into the package, were made exceptional by the supportive guides, creating a private and well-timed experience. Opting for the overwater bungalow was a unique and enchanting experience, adding to the paradise that is El Nido Lagen Island.
The buffet-style meals offered three times a day were a culinary delight. I wholeheartedly recommend El Nido Resorts Lagen Island for an unforgettable and highly recommended getaway. Thank you for an exceptional stay!

Our stay at Piece Lio was decent overall. The aesthetics matched the pictures online, and the studio was spacious with a lovely balcony view overlooking the rainforest. I really appreciated the Dyson hairdryer in the room, which made things much easier with long hair. The staff were friendly, polite, and kind, thank you guys!
Cons:
There were some small issues in the room, such as paint patches peeling off and small holes near the window shutters, which need attention, especially for a fairly new hotel.
The biggest disappointment was discovering that there is no gym or spa, even though both are listed in the hotel’s description. This may not be a big deal for everyone, but it was for us since we had planned our trip around maintaining our fitness and relaxation routine. Instead, guests are given access to facilities within the same hospitality group. The gym and spa are located offsite, about 15 minutes away in town. While the hotel provides free shuttle service to and from that location, the drive feels much longer than expected due to island roads. The gym is small with basic equipment, and the spa, called Rituals Health and Spa, felt old and in need of renovation.
Breakfast was average and not really to our liking. It was also inconvenient because most restaurants at Lio Beach do not open until around 10 a.m., leaving limited early morning options. We ended up eating at another nearby hotel restaurant, Molave, which was the only one open at that time. One of the staff members incorrectly told us there were other options available earlier, which suggests a need for better training and communication.
Another issue was with a pre-booked van ride to one of the beaches. We had confirmed it via WhatsApp, but when we went downstairs, the staff had no record of it. To their credit, they handled the situation professionally and offered us a free one-way ride to make up for the inconvenience.
Overall:
The staff were warm and helpful, but management needs to improve communication, training, and most importantly, the accuracy of the facilities listed online. It feels misleading to advertise a gym and spa that are not actually part of the hotel. The lack of an in-house restaurant was also inconvenient, especially when you want a quick meal without leaving the property.
If the hotel eventually adds its own spa and gym, it would be a much better experience. We did recommend it to friends for a short stay before their flight, but I would not suggest booking it if your priority is having fitness and spa facilities in one place. Overall, would return it they added the facilities!
P.S. there’s cats! I’m not a cats person so it was a little uncomfortable to have them downstairs in the lobby area .

I cannot recommend Astoria Palawan enough! My husband and I recently stayed in one of the Villas, and it was the perfect home away from home. The space, the privacy, and the gorgeous views made our trip truly special.
One of the highlights was the boat trip to the sand bar—a slice of heaven in the middle of the water. The team that took us out ensured we were safe and comfortable the entire time, making the experience completely worry-free and magical.
The food was consistently excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets, which offered a fantastic variety of delicious dishes to suit every taste. For evening relaxation, we loved having drinks at The Dome—the atmosphere is unmatched.
What truly sets this resort apart is the staff. Every single person we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I want to send a huge thank you to Segundo at the Canopy reception for his warm and efficient service. A special shout-out to Jacqklyn at The Dome for her wonderful evening service and making our nights out special, and to Mark at the Habitat Restaurant for his attentive care during our meals.
We are also incredibly grateful to the team who safely took us to the sandbar—your professionalism was reassuring. Finally, a massive thank you to Agustin at the waterpark for his energy and helpfulness; he made the waterpark experience so much fun for us no.
If you are looking for a flawless stay in Palawan with incredible villas, great food, and staff who genuinely care, book Astoria Palawan. We are already planning our return

JJustUsExploringWe stayed for a night at this hidden villa, and it felt like a true home away from home. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort.
The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

Si tratta di un bellissimo resort fronte mare situato a circa 15-20 minuti dalla vivace piazza del paese. La camera familiare era molto spaziosa, il personale cordiale e disponibile e la colazione a buffet non ha deluso le aspettative. Soprattutto, tutta la nostra famiglia ha apprezzato la posizione e l'atmosfera di questo posto, insieme alla serie di ristoranti e bar sulla spiaggia di Lio.

Ci sono persino eventi sociali con deliziosi cocktail e snack. Mi sono iscritto ai tour A e C direttamente in hotel. Tutto è andato alla perfezione! Non ci pensate due volte: scegliete questo ostello. Ho soggiornato in una stanza privata. La doccia e il bagno sono in camera. Se non avete molti bagagli, tutto è perfetto. C'è un'asciugatrice all'esterno. Tutto è incredibilmente comodo! Aiutano persino a organizzare i trasferimenti per l'aeroporto e altre destinazioni. Sono sempre sorridenti e allegri! Il servizio è eccellente!

По бокам - номера, в торце ”ножек” номера с выходом и видами на море, нас посетили в один из таких номеров (№10). Тут же при заселении увидели табличку с вариантами туров, в городе их предлагают четырех типов, выбрали себе туры А и Б из отеля же можно добраться в Пуэрто Принсеса (700 песо с человека). Воды в номере нет, но в ресторане стоит кулер, куда все бегают набирать бутылки, на ресепшен продают воду за 100 песо за 1,5 л, возле рынка вода продается за 70 за 2 л (в 7-11 в Маниле такой же объем стоит 46 песо). В номере есть мыло, шампунь в пакетиках, зубные щетки, паста, кладут один раз при заезде, но на три дня хватит, а шампунь и кондиционер я и так вожу свой. Сантехника старовата, раковина в одном месте была разбита, но в целом нам это не мешало. Вместо одеяла простыня, и ночью я подзамерла, потом стала спать в футболке. Должна отметить, что в последний день обнаружила на себе укусы - так до сих пор и не знаю, то ли были клопы в подушке (но тогда я бы все три дня была искусанной), то ли меня покусал планктон на мелководье, где я сидела в воде до ночи.
Завтрак с 7 до 10, рис, яичница, помидоры, два вида мяса, огуречная вода, блины, бананы, кофе, чай. Не очень разнообразно, но горячее каждый день было разное, мы наедались, все сытное. В первое утро вышли вовремя и вся еда уже стояла, во второй раз опять вышли вовремя, но ещё минут 15 ждали еду, персонал в это время хихикал в основном здании. Пляж мелкий, 4 лежака и два гамака. Публика на пляже есть или с утра, или ближе к вечеру, ажиотажа нет. Вода мелкая, доплыла до буйков и до колена. Ночью отлив и если выглянуть из номера, а мы окнами на воду в пяти метрах, то воды нет.
Отель в целом понравился, с удовольствием приедем снова. Справа и слева стоят отели стоимостью по 20 тыс. за ночь и не уловила, за что там столько переплачивать.

UUtente ospiteIl mio soggiorno qui è stato discreto, ma sicuramente non ci tornerei. La cosa più negativa è stata: quando si entra nell'edificio e si prende l'ascensore per raggiungere il piano della reception, l'ascensore puzza letteralmente di calzini sporchi, bagnati e puzzolenti. Sempre. È disgustoso, ed è la prima impressione che si ha dell'hotel stesso. La prima camera che mi hanno assegnato aveva un odore orribile, di muffa, e ho chiesto al personale di entrare e se potevano soggiornare in una camera con un odore così cattivo. Ho dormito in quella stanza una notte, e quando l'aria condizionata si spegne, gocciola nei condotti per un bel po'. Sono sicuro che ci sia un accumulo di muffa perché è piuttosto forte. Mi hanno spostato in una camera di categoria superiore, che avevano spruzzato con un deodorante - come se questo potesse convincermi che sarebbe stata diversa - e ha avuto un buon odore... per circa un'ora, e poi l'odore di muffa che avevo sentito nella prima camera si è sentito anche nella nuova. Per colazione, potrete scegliere tra 3 o 4 diversi tipi di menù. Le porzioni sono abbondanti, ma non morirete di fame. Le camere sarebbero fantastiche se non fosse per l'odore. Le camere sono spaziose, i letti comodi e vengono pulite ogni giorno.
