L'hotel era bello dall'esterno, ma l'interno ha bisogno di un po' di rinfrescamento, come il quadro della passeggiata verso la stanza. Cons: The rooms are outdated. The carpet smells. The beds are ok. Some parts of the rooms are really dirty even with cobwebs (see photos). The balcony floor is filthy and not maintained. Staff are ok, but other than one male reception, the rest are not friendly. They are not rude, just not welcoming and friendly as how someone facing customers should be. The housekeeping team: On two occasions, they just opened our room without knocking, and it was still before check-out time. This is a serious issue.
The aircond was leaking, and no one came to fix it after reporting it.
The pool is small, and no pool towel is provided.
The hotel also charges Rm5 if you ask for an extra towel. Insane!
Pros:
The hotel looks nice from the outside, and so does the lobby. The 3 bedroom apartment is huge. The room service food is affordable compared to other hotels.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an overall pleasant experience, mainly due to the very friendly and welcoming staff. However, I would rate my stay 6/10, as there are several areas that need improvement.
Swimming Pool Experience: While we respected the rule of wearing swimming caps, the caps provided were reused, still wet, and had an unpleasant smell. This was quite unhygienic and should be addressed.
Towel Policy: We were required to register when entering the pool, which was fine. However, the restriction on bringing the towel back to the hotel room was inconvenient, as we had to return it while still wet.
Facility Access Issues: The Kids' Room and Gym were inaccessible as our access card did not work, no hotel staff inside as well. This was frustrating since we were unable to use these amenities.
Renovation Disturbance: The hotel was surrounded by renovation noises, which made it difficult to fully relax during our stay.

Abbiamo prenotato un totale di 5 camere durante la nostra visita a Melaka. La posizione è molto comoda. Il materasso e il cuscino della camera sono molto comodi. L'unica cosa che non ci fa sentire a nostro agio è il forte odore di scarico quando apriamo la porta della camera, ma scompare una volta acceso l'aria condizionata. Questo vale per tutte le nostre camere deluxe.
La suite 320 ha una perdita dal tetto quando piove molto.
Il flusso d'acqua del bagno della camera deluxe 302 è molto lento. Abbiamo scoperto che è molto sporco quando abbiamo aperto il coperchio del sifone del pavimento.
Spero che possiate risolvere questi problemi.
Nel complesso, ci siamo goduti il soggiorno lì e alloggeremo di nuovo al Baba House per il nostro prossimo viaggio a Melaka.

Il servizio di manutenzione è di grande aiuto.
Al momento del check-in in camera, la cassaforte era chiusa a chiave, la TV era spenta dalla fonte di alimentazione principale. Questi sono stati risolti immediatamente su richiesta.
La pulizia della stanza è relativamente buona, ma può essere migliore, si può vedere della carta velina bloccata nel ventilatore dell'aria condizionata.

Finché non mi sento incomodo a pulire il mio corpo lì.
Il letto sembra troppo vecchio finché il metallo non mi fa male, ha bisogno di cambiare!
L'edificio è troppo silenzioso, il corridoio sembra confuso e un po' impuro.
Tuttavia, l'hotel va bene per stare con la famiglia o con qualcuno 😁👌

Stay here few days still can considered ok.tv got few channel but i think they just on the extra channel from friday to weekends only.because in weekday only got 3-4 local channel only.toiletries include toothbrush set is provided.water flow is good but for water heater early in the morning is not hot.aircond function.bathroom exhaust fan also working and this is important thing for bathroom.because most of hotel this thing are not function.for praying you need to bring your own sejadah.but the room i stay got carpet.iron can request at the counter.hair dryer provided in the room.the towel is clean.bed sheet and blankets also clean.as usual only 2 pillow provided.maybe management should improve on the room door.because it is so loud,because you cannot close it on normal way.this hotel don't have their own cafe.but around hotel got a lot of restaurant but mostly chinese food.but if you own a car that should be no problem.if not grab also easy to get.laundry shop got 2 near the hotel.all room have window but my room cannot open the window.not sure why you need to screw the window.sometimes we need some fresh air too,thats why we choose room with window.i notice bathroom wall actually can see through from bedroom but they already put wallpaper.but still the light from the bathroom can go through the wallpaper.for those that can sleep with light maybe no problem.for bathroom maybe can improve the cleanliness,especially the wall.this is the common problem for some hotel.

UUtente ospiteA great hotel to experience Peranakan style and culture. It's not exactly in the center , about 10 minutes walk from main attractions, but uts a nice walk on local streets.
My main concern would be the soundproofing of the rooms, I could hear everything that's happening in the rooms on the right and left, even the water flushing 😳
My room was 702 which had a connecting door,maybe that is why. But definitely something to keep in mind

UUtente anonimoIl mio partner ha consigliato molto questo hotel perché lei è rimasta qui prima.
La mia esperienza personale mi sembra che il servizio sia buono dalla ricezione, guardia di sicurezza, custodia e un uomo al ginnastico v amichevole , Capo, F&B team molto energico v accogliendo u a bfast.
Tuttavia, alcuni terribili esperienze nella prima stanza assegnata camera 2002 AC non freddo e v cattivo scarico il momento in cui si apre la porta d'ingresso. Abbiamo chiesto di trasferire la stanza poi a 2703 il momento in cui siamo entrati in eccesso di potenza del fresher d'aria è stato sprayato dopo vediamo il divano ha una grande rotonda di colore e una spazzatura sul pavimento così ho immediatamente detto al campanello inaccettabile ma era troppo tardi abbiamo deciso per rimanere.
Il sabato notte, alle 12:00, la mia stanza era in Do not Disturb sign e il personale continuava a battere la mia porta per poche volte per consegnare qualcosa perché non abbiamo chiesto. Abbiamo avuto un shock della nostra vita da Big Bang ha colpito e chiamato l'operatore... e ha detto scusa... peggiore esperienza mai. Il mio partner ha avuto molto paura e ha avuto migrena dopo. Non invadere o ignorare i segni di privacy delle persone.
Il nostro soggiorno è stato in generale un buono, anche se con pochi incidenti è accaduto.

KKeenakittyWe booked 2 superior double rooms on 19- 21 March 2025. We stayed at level 2 (highest floor).
Location : The hotel is located conveniently about 5 mins walk from the Jonkers street.
Amenities: The room is equipped with basic hotel items such as bathroom towel, shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush/toothpaste set, refrigerator, hairdryer, bedroom slipper. Very spacious shower area. It does not come with face towel so bring yours if you need it. Only 2 hangers given, but okay with us. The aircon had some vibration sound. We called the front desk and they quickly responded by sending someone up to check on the aircon.
Parking: The hotel provides complimentary parking lots and there were plenty of lots in there.
Checkout was fast.
Generally pleased with the price we paid. May book again.

There were plenty of kedai makan near the hotel. There was also a Food Festival during our stay, so parking was limited. Overall, we were satisfied.
