The hotel is chic and nice. The view and location is good too. Staff is very polite and helpful. Though The carpet looks a bit old. TV signal is not in function.

On that cold and dark winter evebing, we were gracefully helped by phone by the reception lady in order to reach the hotel located within the pedestrian corner of the city. A beautiful Maison de Maître serves as the Edgar hôtel. Check-in was swift and pleasant, and we had access to an elevator for our humougous suitcases. We entered a beautifully-decorated and warm bedroom, and were nicely advised by our receptionist on which restaurant would be open for dinner (winter Sunday night). Had a resting sleep and a tasty breakfast. Only good things to say, basically. I want to emphasize here that we had a wheel chair accessible bedroom on the 1st floor (the hotel has 3), which I found interesting. The bathroom was all planned for wheel chair access. In case anyone here needs this type of facility, you can book Edgar hotel!

The sleeping area was good, the mattress was comfortable, and I slept well. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they also provided a map and useful information about the Intra-Muros area. The room had recently been painted, the smell of paint was pungent, parking good.
