Hotel con colazione a Riga

Abbiamo prenotato l'hotel perché le foto erano scattate molto bene e l'hotel è situato in posizione centrale. Abbiamo festeggiato un evento speciale e volevamo anche un hotel speciale. Sfortunatamente, puoi davvero vedere l'età di questo hotel sul posto. Il pavimento della stanza scricchiola e la stanza è più piccola della media rispetto allo standard di una camera d'albergo. Sfortunatamente non era molto pulito da noi e l'hotel ha un odore che probabilmente deriva dai vecchi tappeti e mobili. Chi va in questo hotel deve essere un fanatico delle vecchie costruzioni e non aspettarsi alcuna comodità! Anche il servizio era ”eccessivo” per l'hotel. Qui fingi di essere qualcosa che non sei, davvero sgradevole.

Il classico aspetto dell'architettura originale è stato conservato e complimentato con un design moderno e pulito nordico. Le camere hanno un letto divano pieghevole, grande per le famiglie. Il colazione è semplice ma di alta qualità ingredienti e personale attento. Si consigliano i croissant freschi e salmone e salmone lieviti. Situato nel centro della città antica su una strade affascinante, vicino a grandi ristoranti e bar, ma tranquillo abbastanza per dormire bene.

L'hotel è ospitato in un edificio con oltre un secolo di storia, proprio all'ingresso del centro storico di Riga, circondato da minimarket e ristoranti e di fronte al famoso Mercato Centrale e alla stazione degli autobus di Riga. La colazione era molto abbondante, soprattutto il salmone marinato e i dessert: assolutamente fantastici!

Mio marito e io abbiamo avuto una piacevole esperienza, la posizione era molto conveniente, con facile accesso alle attrazioni vicine e al trasporto pubblico, che rendeva semplice il giro. La stanza era pulita e confortevole, con tutte le attrezzature di base che si aspettavano. Il personale era amichevole e utile, e l’iscrizione e l’uscita erano facili e rapidi, che apprezzo.

La posizione centrale dell'hotel, alla fine nord-est della vecchia città di Riga, rende molto facile esplorare la città. Siamo stati vicini alle principali attrazioni della città e siamo a 5 minuti a piedi dalla Cat House, Monumento della Libertà, Riga/Dome Cathedral e St. Peter's Cathedral. Abbiamo prenotato la stanza senza finestra.Era molto ben decorata e il letto era molto comodo. La stanza era tranquilla, ma un po' stufata e non abbiamo sentito l'AC abbastanza forte. Ci sembrava che la stanza fosse ancora buona, ma per il prezzo, e ci fosse un sacco di confezioni, c’era una macchina da caffè Nespresso, una stazione di tè, tazze di tè carine e un grande bagno con una doccia molto bella. Apprezziamo che sia stato fornito un adattatore per pareti e che sia stato inserito in quello che lavorava con gli integratori del stile nordamericano. L'hotel è situato in un edificio del XVII secolo e ha un bel atrio specchiato. C'è una storia divertente in cui un cavallo ha buttato una scarpa, ha colpito l'edificio e l'ha presa, quindi il proprietario l'ha tenuta perché si è sentito fortunato. L'hotel dispone di un bar nel lobby e di un piccolo negozio. L'alba di questo hotel è stato il colazione con una vista magnifica sulla città dalla finestra e un buon colazione, con un piccolo buffet con formaggio, pesce fumato, pane fresco e altre scelte. Abbiamo goduto di una varietà di bevande come la limonata di rhubarb e il cioccolato caldo. Puoi ordinare un prodotto caldo che include.

Amazing stay! The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient—always willing to help with anything you need. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The rooms were spotless, we are three adults booking they let us stayed in two connected rooms. Beds are comfort enough. Perfect location just at the side of the Old City. We came from Tallin and left to Vilnius by bus, the bus station just 3 minutes walk. Everything about this hotel was excellent—I highly recommend it!

Paid extra, service very poor. Arrived to check-in, nobody to serve, no receptionist at the desk. Did wait around 10 minutes, gave a call, no answer, but the receptionist arrived. Then went to their restaurant, very vague service. No cocktails on the meniu (that's what we came for), asked and then the waiter gave separate cocktails menu. Finally came back to room and realised my bed sheet is dirty! Went to reception and asked to change it since we just arrived. Same person from reception came with new duvet and linen, had replace myself, meaning lack of staff if the same person does everything within entire hotel. Breakfast decent, saw people drinking wine, but it wasn't marked as it's included in the breakfast or not and bottle sits aside from all the breakfast on the bar table.

The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quite clean and newly refurbished however there were too many basic errors and design choices / management choices that are not up to the level of the other 5 star hotels in Riga. The mini bar was ridiculously expensive I mean 2 or 3 times as much as other hotels in the city and they had the nerve to charge me for a drink I don’t consume. They have apologised since and I’m waiting on a refund. The tiny tub if almonds were listed for 14 euros for example. No hooks in the bathroom for clothes, no shower screen on the bath, limited buffet options for breakfast but decent Al a carte options, furniture in room not comfortable, no proper wardrobe, rug in the room but covered by the bed, no teapots or large mugs for tea. My advice is only stay if the rate is about 1/2 of the other 5 star hotels in Riga.

The hotel has value for money in the old town area of Riga. Check in was smooth and we were able to get into our room quickly to drop off our bags and get to Arena Riga for an ice hockey game with limited time to get there. The location is very central to the sites of Riga's old town and there are some very good restaurants nearby. There are quite a few convenience stores and souvenir shops nearby but they close fairly early. The hotel has a very interesting feeling to it with exposed brick walls and original/restored wood beams and stairs. We appreciated that it also had an elevator to get to the top floor we stayed on. We booked the twin room and had a pleasant stay and the room was quiet enough to get a good night's rest despite the bars nearby. The beds were comfy but the pillows were a little thin. The room had a fully stocked mini bar with decent prices which would help if we got desperate for drinks. There was a large wardrobe and a small work desk in the room too. There were also plugs conveniently placed around the room so we could get all our devices charged. The bathroom was quite large and we appreciated the hot shower and towel warmer. They provide handsoap and a body/hair gel for the shower. The rooms have air conditioning and the windows open to help with the stuffiness. The twin rooms have a slanted ceiling so my short wife had the bed on the slanted side and had no issues. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the variety of food brought out both mornings. They had hot items which changed a bit each day and included an egg omelette, bacon, potatoes, a Latvian pancake and sausages. There was a good spread of cold items too and we are sure a vegetarian would be satisfied with the offerings of vegetables, cheeses, devilled eggs and fruit. The coffee machine made a very good hot chocolate and they also provided juice and water with breakfast. There is a bar behind the check in counter that is open to hotel guests and a nice seating area in the lobby too if you're looking for something more later. There is a sauna at the hotel but we weren't sure if it was open during our stay or what time it did open because there were no hours posted and we didn't get a chance to ask the staff. There is very limited free parking near the hotel and it seemed like the same local parked in front of the hotel each day. We would recommend taking the bus from the airport if you have the time but if you're in a hurry Bolt is pretty affordable in Riga to get around. There are car rentals north of the hotel and Bolt works in old town to book electric scooters and cars which was pretty convenient during our visit in Riga.

L'hotel è situato in una posizione molto comoda, vicino al centro commerciale e alla stazione centrale, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione degli autobus, dal mercato centrale e dalla città vecchia. Il check-in è stato perfetto e utile con la mappa della città fornita. Bollitore, tazze, bustine di tè e caffè sono forniti, nel bagno sono stati forniti shampoo, sapone per le mani, carta velina, cuffia per la doccia. Sarebbe bello se fornissero lozione per il corpo e balsamo per capelli. Purtroppo, le prese di corrente sulla scrivania non sono adatte a un adattatore da viaggio e non ci sono porte USB. Il letto singolo era proprio accanto alla tenda e uno specchio era proprio di fronte al letto, il design della camera era molto strano. C'è una cassetta di sicurezza nella stanza. Ricordatevi di portare le vostre pantofole perché non vengono fornite le pantofole da camera.
