Hotel con colazione a Ella

This was one of my best stays in Sri Lanka. The only thing I could fault the place for, was the water pressure was not very good. I know serious world problems right. As a frequent world traveler I look for clean/safe/valuable for money accommodation, with a comfortable bed, hot shower, working AC for the hot climates and good Wi Fi. This place ticked all those boxes and some. Great hosts and you have the option of paying the extra for a home cooked meal, which was tasty and plentiful. It is located in a very quiet serene part of Ella and you will either be faced with a short drive into the Ella township or an approx 20min walk. The hosts went out of their way to ensure a great stay, helped with luggage up the steep stairs to the accommodation and bought some required items, when the host went into town. Pics shown stairs leading up to the accommodation, so definitively not wheel chair friendly. Another pic shows the evening meal. We also opted for the host to provide breakfast and it was just as good and affordable.

It’s a little high up on a hill, but the view from my balcony was gorgeous. It’s also right off the main street, so if you don’t mind the trek up and down you’re still relatively well-situated to be near the backpackers’ bars and restaurants and shops. Breakfast had a lot of local Sri Lankan options which I greatly appreciated, and staff was also happy to explain each dish to newcomers. A small piece of advice for the team though: perhaps hire a few female staffers? As a woman traveling alone, one of the first things I noticed was the all-male staff—or at least, I didn’t see a single woman working there in my 2-night stay. I don’t have a problem with it, but newer solo female travelers might unintentionally be scared off

Siamo arrivati stanchi e non in spirito, ma siamo stati così spiritualmente incontrati che l'umore è salito all'improvviso. I host avevano il tè, comunicato a casa – non si sentono un cliente, ma un ospite benvenuto. Hotel in cima alla montagna, e da ogni camera – uscire alla terrazza con una vista stupenda. La mattina si sveglia – e si dispone solo di montagne e silenzio. La camera è pulita, comoda, tutto si pensa fino a piccole cose. Il colazione è stato preparato specialmente per le nostre preferenze: frutta fresca, uova, tostature, anche muzzi! Se non vuoi solo stare per la notte, ma sentire la cura e riposare con l'anima – Questo è esattamente il tuo posto. Voglio tornare e consigliare a tutti. Grazie mille agli ospiti per questa atmosfera!

Abbiamo avuto un bel soggiorno in questo hotel. La posizione è eccellente, la colazione è buona e il personale è molto gentile. Uno svantaggio è che è molto audibile in hotel, che ti permette di sentire i vicini fare doccia e che ti svegli di mattina presto.

Dowa Elegance Resort is a peaceful retreat surrounded by beautiful nature. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is very kind and attentive, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. A great place to enjoy the beauty of Sri Lanka with warm hospitality.

Questa volta ho vissuto il miglior hotel a Sri Lanka, vale più di cinque stelle. Abbiamo prenotato un grande letto di sotto e due piccole letti di sopra.La finestra elettrica è quasi un pannello panoramico e balcone, che può essere visto fuori.Puoi anche vedere tre ponti e tre strade attraverso il treno. Il minibar ha dato decine di pacchetti, tutti gratis, e quattro cucchiai di acqua anche gratis, vino e bevande. La piscina è molto bella e molto estremamente scintillante, come una piscina senza lato. Devi scegliere di portare la cena, la cena è in cinque modi, molto deliziosa, molto speciale, senza bevande.Il colazione ha anche un sacchetto di uova di pelle molto speciale, e può essere fatto una bella foto sulla strada per il ristorante. L'unica cosa che e'che ci sono più di larve. L'unica e'che i due bagagli sono stati inghiottiti qui durante il sonno di notte.

Tenendo presente questo è un hotel 3 stelle, i positivi sono le camere sono grandi con un balcone guardando fuori incredibili viste (nostri comunque), e la piscina è pulita e abbastanza grande anche con incredibili viste e una caratteristica di acqua elefante con cemento!!! La posizione dell'hotel è piuttosto buona anche - lontano da altre proprietà per essere tranquillo ma abbastanza vicino a Ella principale drag che si può camminare in 10-15 minuti o pagare un tuk tuk driver doppio il tasso di Colombo per arrivare e da. Il grande negativo per noi era che, nonostante fosse stato detto al check-in che la stanza sarebbe stata pulita ogni giorno, non era. E mi è stato detto perché non abbiamo mangiato la chiave per farlo - che sembra strano dopo aver soggiornato negli hotel per decenni e non essere stato detto o dover mangiare una chiave per ottenere una stanza standard giornaliera pulita. L'insinuazione che non ci fosse stata data una chiave (non che ci fosse stato detto di farlo al check-in) era estremamente irritante. La cibo era buona, ma troppo costosa, quindi mangiamo altrove (molte opzioni). Ci sono state molte piccole cose nelle stanze che potrebbero essere facilmente affrontate per renderle più belle - certamente non aver rimosso vecchie tovaglie da bagno, e rimuovere un braccialetto vuoto TV dal muro (come una TV che era abituata a essere là ma non più - o è solo la nostra stanza, chi lo sa) Tutte queste piccole cose mi aggiungono a me il tasso di camera è troppo alto - ma siamo qui nella stagione alta, quindi forse è solo il tasso di andamento.

WhatsApp will speed up things. Service was prompt if you have a Srilanka number over phone call.

For the price it’s good - a little worn and the bathrooms could do with modernising a bit but good accomodation for a budget.

We stay here for 3 nights and it was a lovely experience! The rooms were clean and tidy, we got fresh towels each day and new bottles of water! They were happy to tidy the room each day which was the first time we had this on our whole journey in Sri Lanka so was a lovely extra touch for us but we were happy with just new towels and water! They are currently renovating downstairs to build a restaurant so we were a little confused when we first arrived but this did not take away from the experience of the hotel, the staff were super friendly and accommodating! The hotel is in the perfect location on the main road through Ella with bars, restaurants and shops everywhere! With the train station a short 5 min walk everything is accessible. We would 100% recommend to stay here for your trip to Ella
