It was a comfortable stay. It is far from anything with only 2 restaurants to choose from. There is a small swimming pool to relax in on the roof. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was sufficient but a little hit and miss.

Recently stayed at the Hilton Goa and had a pleasant yet inconsistent experience. The room itself was excellent - very spacious with a large king bed, beautiful furnishings, and sparkling clean bathrooms. The location was also ideal.The breakfast spread was nice. However, the swimming pool was a major disappointment. There seemed to be an overabundance of chlorine or other chemicals in the water that made it uncomfortable to swim in. My eyes stung badly after just a few minutes in the pool … it was basically unusable throughout my stay which was unfortunate.Also there is scope of improvement in the healthclub as well! The hotel staff were courteous and professional but lacked some warmth and hospitality I would expect from a high-end resort. I wouldn't call them rude by any means, but they stuck strictly to business with little smiling or engaging conversation. I was hoping for staff that went the extra mile to create a more welcoming environment. Overall, the Hilton Goa has a lot going for it in terms of room and location. They need to address the pool chemical imbalance and inject more hospitality into their service to excel as a premier 5* hotel. The foundation is there but some tweaks could make this a truly worldclass hotel dest.Thanks

The resort itself is beautiful and I loved my room. There were really nice seating areas around the resort too. Upon arrival, and departure, the staff greeted me with gifts, which was a nice touch. What I didn't like was: 1) almost all rooms were located around the pool, so wherever you lay to relax, guests and staff were continuously walking past you 2) the noise from daytime and evening music was ridiculously loud. There are signs inside the room that advise you to wear earplugs if you don't like it. It was louder in the room than outside! And even with earplugs, I could still hear it. 3) the location - whilst it is techinically close to the beach, it is situated on a busy road, and to get to the beach, you had to walk ***** this road. This felt precarious and I did not feel safe to do so, as a solo traveller, at night. 4) the restaurant; whilst the staff were all friendly enough once you approached them, every time I used the restaurant, I had to seek them out. I was never offered a menu unless I asked for one, and I was not shown the breakfast options nor shown what choices I could select from, from the egg/masala/pancakes section.

È diventata la nostra piccola casa per tre notti e ci è piaciuta tantissimo! Quella sera abbiamo provato il bar e il ristorante dell'hotel e da allora abbiamo mangiato lì tutti i giorni. Il cibo è divino e senza dubbio uno dei miei piatti indiani preferiti! Da veri inglesi, abbiamo adorato la patata dolce e piccante! Abbiamo anche provato il Cabo (liquore al cocco) per la prima volta grazie al meraviglioso consiglio di Sonu! Sonu si è assicurato che fossimo accuditi ogni volta che entravamo nel ristorante, affamati e desiderosi di un delizioso curry! È stato così cordiale e disponibile con le mie esigenze alimentari! È un vero tesoro!! Abbiamo anche prenotato le nostre escursioni tramite l'hotel. Kapil non è stato solo il nostro autista, ma anche la nostra guida turistica! Conosce Goa a un livello quasi sovrumano! È stato una vera risata durante il viaggio e si è assicurato che trascorressimo il miglior tempo possibile. The hotel is in a great location. Very friendly welcome. We were shown to our room and things explained. The balcony was small but ample. The room should have contained robe and slippers but these were missing, although didn't affect our stay so not a real issue. The pool is small but was very quiet and provided a nice cool off. Towels are available at the counter. The hotel is located directly on the beach with beech shacks and restaurants on the beach very nearby. The hotel does not provide beach loungers BUT if you head to a beach shack and buy a drink or two, they will allow the use of a bed for free. Directly out of the hotel gate on the beach there was a lady with beds trying to charge 500 rupees for a bed for the day. This is not necessary when you can get a drink for less with a free bed. We nearly learned the hard way. The bed was far too hard for me, resulting in reduced sleep, but some people may prefer a firmer bed. My partner slept better than me so this was a personal experience. The bedding was nice quality though. The whole place was clean and tidy. Rooms made up every day in the afternoon so not disturbed early morning which is nice. The rooms are not soundproof so a lot of noise can be heard from outside when people start moving around in the morning. Staff were friendly - everyone had a smile, and nothing too much trouble. We only experienced breakfast once, and I would say it is ok as long as you don't expect a full English fry up (which in my opinion you shouldn't as you're in India). The food was hot, tasty, and fresh. There was plenty to choose from for a breakfast selection. If I was to fault the breakfast, to provide a suggestion, providing tea and coffee black so that customers can add their own milk would make it more accessible to all. I can't drink too much dairy so had to give this a miss. Then the only real downside to this hotel we found is when checking out, you are made to wait until the room has been checked, in case you steal anything. I completely understand this, but this should be made clear when checking in. We had booked a taxi to arrive at check out time, which could have resulted in additional costs for waiting time. Just to be mindful if staying here and arranging onward travel. Or maybe the hotel could make this policy clearer upon checking in. All in all a very nice stay in Candolim and this hotel was a good choice.

Nithesh, Syantika & Shivram i tre di loro hanno davvero fatto il nostro soggiorno grande e meraviglioso! meritano il riconoscimento per il loro servizio. La notte che siamo arrivati, siamo stati accolti da Nithesh alla reception. Il check-in è stato veloce e Nithesh ci ha seguito tutto il cammino verso la nostra stanza, dandoci informazioni sulle bfast, le strutture, f&b e altri dettagli che dovevamo sapere! The stay was marvellous… thankyou to the team at front office who did our checkin , fnb who prepared and served the food with live, room service who made sure we get the room clean and organised when we are back. I will definitely book the same once I m back to Goa. Taxi stand is near and the area is very safe for the female travellers.

Overall this was a very satisfying stay. A few major hiccups but less on account of the hotel or staff. Certain times of the year it does get too busy. During our stay it was found to be comfortable and satisfying. I think the staff here are very professional and dedicated to what they are doing. I would return for a stay here.
