Hotel con colazione a Dehradun

I have been traveling to Savoy since 80's and they sell Heritage but unfortunately their new building is No where close to Heritage. It's a modern building. Totally disappointed this time with their new rooms. Why would they even selling something which is not upto their standards. If one is not staying in old Heritage building then it's a waste of money as this new building is like one is cornered from the old building

Avevo un soggiorno molto confortevole a Auradoon, a Dehradun, l'hotel è messo sulle colline della zona montana, offrendo una vista fantastica sulle colline a partire dalla nostra stanza. La posizione è fantastica tranquilla e scenica, anche se un po 'di distanza dalla città principale. Il centro della città di Dehradun è facilmente accessibile da taxi o auto privata, che rendeva il esplorazione conveniente. Le camere erano grandi e spaziose, con splendide viste di fronte alle colline che facevano ogni mattina speciale. La pulizia era di prima vista in tutta la proprietà, tutto si sentiva fresco, igienico, e ben mantenuto. Il personale era molto amichevole e accogliente. Sono stati presto a soddisfare tutte le nostre esigenze e ci hanno fatto sentire molto benvenuti. Una menzione speciale al capo Himanshu era molto attento e ci ha offerto personalmente alcuni dei piatti deliziosi che aveva preparato. Il colazione era vario e delizioso, preparato con ingredienti freschi ogni giorno. In generale, era una esperienza rilassante e piacevole. Molto consigliato per chiunque cercasse una tranquilla via di Dehradun con un servizio eccellente e un grande cibo. Sicuramente visiteremo di nuovo!

one of the finest properties you can find in hills. location is absolutely perfect away from maddening mall road crowd but also not too far, just few minutes away. staff is very courteous and helpful. they went out of the way to help my child who suffered from travel sickness. room was recently renovated and easily met 4* standards. property is undergoing renovation so hopefully it will be more better in upcoming months. food options are limited but good & fresh, fish/mutton were very tasty, items are reasonably priced. each staff is very polite & humble. property is well maintained & sits atop a pvt hill. property approach is easy & not too steep, easily ***ageable with any car type.

I was wonderfull stay breakfast was awesome and Rooms were neat and clean. Staff was quite cooperative.

Prima di prenotare, ho visto molte persone dire che il cibo qui non era buono ed ero molto nervoso. Quando ho mangiato la colazione a buffet, ho trovato che andava bene, ma non c'erano molte varietà, ma la qualità era discreta. Sono le strutture a lamentarsi. Non c'è uno scomparto separato per il WC e la doccia. Era comprensibile che il progetto non fosse stato preso in considerazione in quel momento. Ma ciò che è incomprensibile è, non possiamo aggiungere una tenda da doccia? Dopo aver fatto il bagno, il bagno era schizzato e incasinato. Se vuoi usare il bagno o lavarti i denti più tardi, scusa, devi entrare.

The property was lovely. Its location is very good and the facilities are also very good. The food is nice. I would suggest ever to visit this property if you are at Dehradun.

The stay was so memorable. Staffs very friendly. Staff Kanchan is excellent to be rewarded. As first time in Rishikesh we were little lost but Kanchan thoroughly assisted from the time of booking till the last day stay. Almost all Staffs assisted and looked at our needs including driver and guide. We really got our blessings in this spiritual land. Thank you totally kind souls that we met. God bless all.

Hotel was earlier sarovar, now it was bought by Gateway. So amenities and services are as per Sarovar only but the charges are of gateway. Most of the hotel is under reservation at the moment so expected it could be better but as of now its average. Plus it is little in outskirts of dehradun in haridwar bypass. But overall staff is good and food is good but ambiance and quality of rooms can be improved in 7-8K per night hotel.
