"the hotel is expensive considering the amenities it provided. the breakfast was not attempting, we skipped breakfast and ate at the breakfast place nearby. Hotel was close to Luo Dong train station but still requires fair bit of walking. The room was also very small, no wardrobe, hard to put two luggages on the floor at same time, not recommended if you want to stay in Luo Dong"

Eccellente
VVNFYu Peng Villa was our first and BEST accommodation on this Yilan-Taroko-SML-Alishan road trip. We arrived much later than expected and were relieved that our message to Trip.com got through to the guesthouse. When we drove up to the place (an easy find with GPS), a member of the staff walked up to our car and guided us to the drop off point.
I love the designer vibes of the property which is well maintained with a sizeable garden and plenty of flowers in bloom. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The showers worked and there was hot water. The western-style breakfast was generous in portion and delicious.
Best of all was the hospitality extended to us. It was the only place where we felt truly welcomed on this 8-day trip. The staff here chatted with us, gave advice on places of interest and sent us off with fruit from the orchard. After the great experience here, all the other places we stayed at pale drastically in comparison.
If you're planning to visit the Kavalan Distillery, this place is a great stayover option! Truly a slice of paradise.

UUtente ospiteThis is a very unique hotel that is located in the Tofu Cape of Suao. It is the only hotel in the area as far as I know. It has an unparalelled view of the ocean and the cape that is also basically unobstructed. The room itself is also quite large with windows alll around. Bed was comfortable, service good, breakfast also surprisingly good, both western and CHinese styles. They also have a mini golf area that is overlooking the ocean. hotel is pretty quiet and peaceful. Even though thats baiscally the only ”amenity” or facility they have, its still a good place to relax and watch the sunrise or sunset. nearby there is a cafe kind of place that serves some light meals. overall is a great choice and best advised to go on a nice day if you can. Not cheap but i think still overall good value considering how unique it is. Many nice hotels in taipei dont have much of a view honestly so I think i would rather a place like this.

CClaudia xuanVenne una volta in un clima freddo, prevedibile. I servizi sono buoni come ricordo, ma venendo in estate, mi aspettavo più piscina fredda suana, poi calda. Purtroppo non è così.
L'hotel è decente ma potrebbe richiedere un certo miglioramento (sono stati gli stessi anni ma qualcosa sembrava indossato/rusto).
Il buffet è stato distribuito in modo decente.

Il tubo interno nella stanza ci ha consentito di godere dell'esperienza di primavera calda senza lasciare la stanza.
La zona pubblica di primavera calda era grande e pulita.
Si trova vicino a molti posti di mangiare.
Molto raccomandato.

SSIXANA四周有田園風光非常美麗，房間裡有小型兒童遊戲器材，小朋友非常喜歡玩的都不想出門，門口有自行車車可以借，可惜因為天氣很熱，大家在陽台看風景就好！哈哈哈，浴室裡面浴缸非常大，不過大家在同萬劫完成完夠了沒有使用到很可惜，以後冬天來的時候泡湯一定很讚！很滿意的地方！晚上去羅東夜市吃東西，愜意的理由！

Good amount of stores around the hotel
Personal hot tub was relaxing with unbeatable views
Pool was great. Only exception was during the day it was unusable when sunny which defeats the purpose of a pool but we used it on the cloudy days.
Rooms were big and clean. Staff was friendly and kind to children
Only thing is to stay away from dinner buffet. That wasn’t a good experience but the free breakfast was standard. I hope the teppanyaki and other places were better than the dinner buffet

It will be perfect if they have amenities like laundry.
The room has some smell due to humidity at first but it is alright after the aircon and dehumidifier is operating for awhile.

UUtente anonimoFirst of all, this is a very old hotel that has seen truly better days. While maintained well, it has retained it's original furnishings and decor from the 1980s and 1990s. Staying here reminded me of my childhood travelling with my family in the 80s. The actual room does not look anything like the ones shown on the website. The hard floors mean you should wear their slippers or bring your own room slippers. The hot spring water advertised is just hot spring water pipes that go into your bathtub. There is a step that emulates hot spa step in the bathtub.
The breakfast was good with nice braised meat and eggs that you can put over your rice or porridge. There's also hot soy milk. But no hot tea, only coffee. The staff look tired but hard working.
There was a grumpy older lady receiptionist when we checked in and she was pretty rough in the check in process. E.g. ”if you don't put a number here, and you leave things in the hotel, we'll just throw them away! Just to tell you first.”
Room was quite small or cosy, depending on your perspective. The only thing new was the air-conditioner. The TV set had all the settings for channels but none worked. Internet wifi was not quite working too.
