Hotel con colazione a Xingyi

We had a wonderful time staying at Wangfenlin Mingrong Homestay in Xingyi. Our room was big, clean, cozy, and included a living room. The included breakfast was delicious. The owner couple were on site all the time and very helpful with guests’ needs. They said they would be happy to accommodate any needs 24 hours a day. It is located near the Xingyi high speed train station, Wanfenglin, Malin River Canyon, Peak Forest Bouyei and some other attractions. It was difficult to get Didi rides from any of the attractions back to their B&B especially at night, so they offered to drive us to 3 attractions of our choice in the same day. He spent more than 10 hours driving us around, helping us to get admission tickets, and waited for us nearby while we were touring the attractions. They were very friendly and helpful to cater to our needs. Un elogio speciale per il B&B che ho prenotato questa volta. L'hardware e le strutture della camera sono di prim'ordine. Il capo è probabilmente una persona attenta ai dettagli. È molto attento ad ogni luogo che ritieni sensibile è molto grande, le docce sono molto buone e il lavabo sovradimensionato a doppio lavabo è molto comodo, l'asciugacapelli è della Dyson, la camera ha il riscaldamento a pavimento e l'aria condizionata e la qualità della biancheria è molto buona che per la prima volta sentivo che era troppo difficile portare le mie lenzuola. Essendo una persona del nord che ha paura del freddo, penso davvero che sia molto premuroso. La governante ha acceso il riscaldamento a pavimento in anticipo e ha preparato delle trapunte extra. Ha servito sempre con un sorriso e tutti erano lì bagagli e ci ha fatto sentire in imbarazzo. Le strisce anticollisione sono installate nelle aree con piedi duri nella stanza, quindi non devi preoccuparti che i bambini le urtino mentre corrono. Stamattina ha piovuto. Quando ho aperto la porta alle 7:30, ho scoperto che le ragazze avevano messo gli ombrelli davanti alla porta presto. La colazione era molto attenta e gli ingredienti erano molto ben preparati. Ci sono prese ovunque nella stanza, il che non è molto comodo, e ognuna è ben costruita e molto facile da usare. La terrazza all'ultimo piano è bellissima e molto pulita. Wanfenglin è particolarmente bello, si possono far volare i droni e la terrazza è molto comoda per il decollo e l'atterraggio. Di fronte al B&B c'è il Bagua Group. Pensiamo che la posizione sia la migliore, proprio al centro del punto panoramico. Puoi guardare il tramonto sulla terrazza. Anche se è sul ciglio della strada (i migliori B&B qui sono tutti sul ciglio della strada), è molto tranquillo per dormire la notte.

This hotel has one of the best levels of service we have ever experienced. We travel frequently and have visited many countries, but we have never encountered such genuine kindness, care, and hospitality anywhere else. Our room was very cozy, clean, and comfortable. The only minor downside was the sound insulation, which could have been better. However, this was completely overshadowed by the outstanding service, so it hardly mattered. We would especially like to thank the reception staff. They are the reason we will always have such warm memories of China. They helped us choose an excursion, took care of all the arrangements, and even thoughtfully prepared a container of freshly cut watermelon for us to take on our trip. They also helped us rent a scooter, making sure we got the best and most affordable option. They were always willing to help, answer our questions, and do everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. On the day we checked out, they surprised us with two giraffe toys and another container of freshly cut watermelon. On top of that, they offered to drive us to the railway station free of charge. We never even asked—they simply wanted to help. Their kindness, attention to detail, generosity, and genuine care for their guests are truly exceptional. They are wonderful people and true professionals. We sincerely hope their hard work is recognized and rewarded because they absolutely deserve it. The service at this hotel deserves not 5 out of 5, but 10 out of 5. It exceeded every expectation we had. Thank you so much to the entire team for making our stay so warm, comfortable, and unforgettable!

I love this place so much that a part of me wants to gatekeep this hidden gem. Fanzhu梵住 is a beautifully curated boutique hotel that delivers outstanding hospitality. I initially booked a 5-day stay but loved it so much that I extended for an extra day, willingly sacrificing my next destination. I was initially worried the hotel might be a ”pretty façade.” Fortunately, Fanzhu met all my needs of functionality and comfort (Breakfast, Air Conditioning, an excellent shower, free self-service laundry, an ideal location). The property is far from perfection, but it overcompensates with simple, heartfelt sincerity. You can feel the tremendous thought and effort poured into this place to make guests feel comfortable. ✨ Highlights, Who Will Love This Place: ✅#English-Speaking Travellers: For foreigners unfamiliar with China, it is extremely helpful that the owner is fluent in English. ✅#Design & Aesthetics: Warm & modern. The property exudes zen-like comfort with charming decors. It has a gorgeous yard, with swimming pool, and ample outdoor seatings. ✅#Remote workers: I didn’t plan to work on this trip, but I could see myself working there remotely. If you come from the city where every building looks like a boxy Lego piece, you will deeply appreciate this place. ✅#Personalized Service: Kudos to the young lady boss! In a place like Wanfenglin where the location pins and 导航 can be vague to foreigners, sh took the time to understand my itinerary, how I planned my routes around Wanfenglin. She gave recommendations, and helped me check my “Destination” input on car hiring app. Airport and railway station pickups can also be arranged easily too. ✅#Immaculate Rooms: THE BED! Oh my, the bed! The linens, pillows, and towels are all premium quality. Even the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash feel luxurious. The bed is so comfortable that I would return just for a sleep-in holiday. Ok I know I’m mentioning the bed twice but it’s worth mentioning thrice. Extra points from me that the rooms are non-smoking. ✅#Location: Before arriving, I read a review describing this place as ”a piece of tranquillity close to the action”. Now I get it. It sits as an independent building on a peaceful road/hill(?), yet it is a short, easy walk to the Bagua fields and Zhong Nahui, where you can find idyllic cafes, little shops, and children playing in the fields. ✅#Breakfast: Delicious local-flavoured noodles!They also offer more conservative standards like toasts, eggs, and coffee. Oh, the hotel has an ice machine! Ooooohh so sexy in the hot weather (apparently ice cubes are rare in Wanfenglin). ✅#The Resident Pets: As a pet lover who willingly pays to visit cat cafes, having resident dog and cats sealed the deal for me. ✅#BONUS TIP: The Rooftop Night Sky. Unassuming and rugged at first glance, I was initially unimpressed. But I heard good reviews from others, so I gave it another go, and am thankful I did! Stay awhile, allow your eyes some time to adjust in the darkness, and you would see the sky completely transforms. On my last night, I saw a shooting star! I kid you not. It was an absolutely unbelievable, unforgettable moment. Incredibly awesome! ⚠️ Considerations Before You Book (Who should avoid): - If you love standard chain hotels. Fanzhu is intimate enough to offer personalized service. But I can imagine some of my more pampered friends who prefer international breakfast buffet spread would struggle to settle for this simplicity. Some things are just not realistic expectations off a boutique. - Mobility needs: There is no elevator. They would graciously carry your suitcases. However, elderly may want to enquire about ground-floor room. - In the midst of nature: If you have zero tolerance for insects, you may want to skip staying in Wanfenglin. It is a humid, lush environment surrounded by fields and trees. Personally, with a body spray of insect repellent, I wasn't bothered at all. - Pet allergies: If you hate pets (but why would you? :( w

The location of this homestay is very near to the Wanfenglin Scenic Attraction just a 5-min walk. It is also very near to the public bus terminal. When I arrived at Xingyi South Railway Station, I boarded a direct bus (RMB5) No. 1 outside Xingyi railway station to this bus terminal. The hotel is just 5-min walk from the bus terminal. There is also a bus no. 301 that I can take that goes directly to Maling River Canyon (RMB 3) from this public bus terminal. In terms of convenience to scenic attraction and public bus transportation, the location of the hotel is unique. There are also many good eateries and restaurants nearby the hotel and we were not worried of food. The lady boss briefed us on the weather and informed us that it would be rainy during our two-day stay and advised us to visit the scenic area on that late afternoon as the following day it may rain. We heed her advice and managed to complete enter the scenic area and go for our tour of the wanfenglin scenic area in 3 hours via the shuttle bus transport. We wanted to change to a room at the upper level so that we could have better window view of Wanfenglin but was told the toilet is the squatting type and only our room has the sitting type. Our room is quite clean but the amenities are old including the surrounding.. If there is a chain hotel like Home Inn or 7Day or Hanting at this area, I would have chosen the latter.
