Hotel con colazione a Daxing'anling

I stayed here at the beginning of my 20 day self-driving road trip around Heilongjian and Inner Mongolia. This stay was a perfect way to start my trip. The welcome and hospitality from the stay was very much appreciated. The room was comfortable and warm, with everything I needed. Breakfast was very tasty. The accomodation has coffee at reception if you drink it, but it is an extra cost. I rented a Tank 300 for my trip and was uncertain how it would perform in the low temperatures. So, I messaged the boss if I could use his garage. When I arrived, it was waiting for me for 50 RMB a night. I parked up and had my own garage for 2 nights. The location is the other side of the river from the town centre. The walk is peaceful, the river in its frozen form is very nice and can be walked on or along. There are plenty of restaurants next to the hotel too, and the boss recommended some to me when I arrived. One improvement would be to tidy up after the dogs/cats outside. It can be seen and smelt and would be better if it was cleaned up. I am now nearing the end of my trip. I have driven thousands of kilometres, visited many towns and villages and met many guesthouse, hotel and hostel owners. Yet I will always remember the start of my journey at this guesthouse fondly. I had a wonderful stay in Youran. The rooms are in wooden but with modern amenities. The owner and wife are very friendly and providing a real great service. Youran also has a restaurant and the owner wife can cook very well. This brings convenient for guests so that do not need to walk out to look for foods under such an extreme low temperature. The location of Youran is convenience and at the center of Beiji Village. Few tourism points can be easily reached out by walk. And you could get a driver to drive you to attractions in Mohe. Youran can help to arrange a trustable and good service driver at a reasonable fee. As for the room, it is spacious, the cleanliness is very good and odorless. The heating system is excellence, I could wear T + short in the room comfortably and the water heater is 24 hours. I will come back to Youran again to experience Mohe different seasons. From the moment I arrived I could feel the atmosphere of this place. The boss greeted me very warmly and sincerely. She noticed I was a big guy and insisted to giving me a better room. Everything about this place is high quality. The pillows and sheets are extremely comfortable as is the mattress. The floor, the curtains, the hangers...all seemed to have be carefully chosen. There's a huge tv and the shower pumps out high water pressure and both hot and cold temperatures change instantly. There's a tea room and a yard in the back. The location of the hotel is great too. It's right on the river and just a few steps from shops, restaurants and cafes. The attention to detail is what sets this place above the rest. Beautiful and tasteful decor with comfort and ambiance and superb service. I'd give 100 stars if I could, but 5 stars and a great big thank you is the most I can do.

One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent trip drivers. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and made exploring the area so much easier and enjoyable.
