特別特別好的酒店，讓我們對黑森林的感覺都驚喜了不少，房間佈置精美，連窗簾綁帶的形狀都精心設計，洗手間一塵不染，整個小鎮環境優美整潔寧靜，真是讓人驚艷的酒店

Hotel tipico in un paesino molto carino . Con amici abbiamo soggiornato nel periodo del ponte dell'8 Dicembre per 2 notti . Ottima posizione per raggiungere Friburg e le cascate di Sciaffusa ( splendide !!! ) . L'ambiente dell'Hotel è curato , pulito e ricco di storia che è quella della famiglia dei gestori credo a terza o quarta generazione . Gradevole vedere il personale in costume tipico . Nota dolente a livello però solo personale ( ma questo fa parte della cultura del luogo e non va contestato ) sono i cuscini altissimi e morbidissimi per noi scomodissimi ma per altri magari saranno confortevoli , quindi è soggettivo. Cena eccezionale , cibo buonissimo con le zuppe , il gulash , verdure e dolci fatti da loro in sintesi si mangia benissimo così la colazione ricchissima e varia , voto 10 ! Nei nostri confronti c'è sempre stato un atteggiamento da parte del personale e non all'insegna della cortesia e della disponibilità , ma mai un sorriso o qualche istante di empatia , direi molto distaccati e talvolta un po' seccati ma questo non incide sulla qualità . Puntualizzo che noi siamo persone molto British , quindi silenziose , educate e rispettose ma forse quella "freddeza" è dovuta solo ad un atteggiamento . Comunque siamo soddisfattisimi !

Great place to stay when visiting the south part of the Black Forest. Ideal for participating one of the Schwarzwaldmarathon races. Plenty of hiking and bicycle routes in the environment. We stayed there for about a week. The room in the annex is spacey with king size bed. Excellent wifi . The breakfast buffet is excellent. The restaurant is very good; it is closed on Saturday and Sunday, but there are several other places for lunch and dinner in this small town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. One issue is they offer EV-charging service, there are 3 charging stations, but 2 of the parking spaces are continuously occupied by non-EV or EV which are not charging and there is afaik no reservation system.

The Lindenhof is definitely a good option to choose for the Black Forest marathon weekend as the hotel is in the middle of the historic old town and a mere five minute walk away from the start and finish point of the event. Rooms are spread across three floors and many have their own balcony. The single beds are rather small but the single rooms themselves are spacious. The breakfast is a great buffet and even though it usually opens at 8 on weekends, they move it to 6:30 (as weekdays) for the Saturday and Sunday of the marathon weekend. The only downside was that their restaurant isn’t open on Saturdays and Sundays for any other meal so guests must look for alternative options. It was also good value for money and the family staff was kind and attentive.

Constant perfecf service in family tradition, staff in traditional folklore uniform with some modern art. Wifi correct. Quiet, good working space in room desk, lighting. Room 305 spacious. Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit eggs bread.

We went to Braunlingen with our family to experience Fastnacht - an indescribable festival. This hotel is the best. It is located right in the middle of town so you can walk everywhere. The team there are incredible. Anna & Johannes (brother and sister team running the hotel) take care of everything in such a laid back way. Even though it is very much a local spot, you feel welcome and included. The food is off the charts good (cooked by their father Joseph). Do not miss this place, even if it is only for a meal. You will leave feeling like part of the family.

The Lindenhof is a good choice if travelling through the Black Forest. It’s a very authentic German hotel run by a friendly enthusiastic team. Our room was spacious with a nice modern bathroom. Dinner was very popular with locals, serving large portions of traditional German dishes. Good beer on tap. Breakfast had a wide varied selection. Easy to park outside the hotel. Ideal stop off if you’re travelling in that area.

It was my favorite hotel during my whole Germany trip. The staff is super nice and helpful, the room is full of touches, comfortable bed, very stylish decoration, you can definitely feel from details in the room that the owners have put lot of thoughts and efforts into this hotel and have constantly been trying to make it a better place. If am not mistaken, I remember chatting in their restaurants with one of the owner, she said this hotel is their family heritage, the building itself is around 300years old. But considering how comfortable the room is, I really have to say, I am really proud of them, how well they've been looking after this historic architecture. Don't miss out their restaurant as well, it is the best dinning place in town. Don't forget to try their dessert. Soooooo goooood!

Family run business, and you can feel in every corner that they give their heart and soul to run the hotel every day! If you looking for a friendly, cozy and really clean hotel do not go further! Nice comfy bed, and I loved the little details like the hand lotion, the soap, the guide books in the room that you can also buy in their little shop located just after the reception. Breakfast was the best we had in Germany! also try the restaurant, great German comfort food!
