Ho soggiornato in questa struttura ad agosto con la mia famiglia. Avevo prenotato un appartamento con una camera da letto per il quale abbiamo pagato quasi 140€ a notte. La struttura mi ha assegnato un appartamento senza nessun tipo di stanza, era tutto integrato, il soggiorno (con una specie di divano letto, abbastanza duro e imbottito da un lato che non si poteva accedere), il letto matrimoniale, il mini tavolo da pranzo stanza con due sedie e la cucina. Tutto in uno. La mia sorpresa è che rivedendo la prenotazione e gli appartamenti che offrono, vedo che quello che mi hanno assegnato è l'appartamento standard più semplice, il cui prezzo per notte è molto più economico di quello che ho pagato. Una volta rientrato ho contattato la struttura per chiedere informazioni e mi hanno detto che a causa dell'overbooking che avevano mi hanno dovuto assegnare un appartamento diverso e me ne hanno dato uno superiore a quello prenotato, cosa assolutamente falsa visto che sia in prenotazione che in On loro sito web, le foto dell'appartamento che mi hanno dato corrispondono a quello più semplice e sia quello con una camera da letto che quello superiore hanno una stanza separata, cosa che nel mio caso non era. Non c'è nessun altro appartamento sul web diverso dallo standard che non abbia una stanza separata. Nel complesso, ignorano completamente la questione in modi molto cattivi, senza ulteriori spiegazioni.Certo, non lo consiglierei a nessuno perché paghi una cosa (abbastanza costosa, tra l'altro), e poi ti danno quello che fa per loro, anche se è peggio del previsto che hai pagato e che non corrisponde alle informazioni che hanno pubblicato. E comunque, se la cosa dell'overbooking è vera, dovrebbero avvisarmi se cambiano tipologia di appartamento rispetto a quello prenotato, per indicare le condizioni di quello a cui verranno assegnati, poiché se avessero saputo che mi avrebbero messo in uno studio senza alcun tipo di stanza, avrei cercato un'altra alternativa.

This apartment is a complete shambles. It does not look like what you see in the pictures don’t be fooled. We checked in at 8pm. The building itself smelt like damp upon walking into it. Once checked in we were greeted with even more dampness. There was a stain on the sofa and the floors had not been cleaned properly. Big regret not bringing disposable flip flops. I tried to contact Helena and Jorge but surprised they both finish work at 6pm. The bed sheets were also filthy. We couldn’t get over the horrible old smell the apartment has. I contacted ********** during this but we had no choice but to check out just after an hour! Thankfully we found another local hotel. The owners claim they claim at 8:15 to ‘resolve the issue’ however I did not hear a single world via email or call from them! I’m guessing we would have had to wait 12hours and sleep somewhere that is not up so scratch? I contacted them again but no avail and they didn’t even bother to tell me they had visited the apartment until 6 days later. The agent I booked via tried to call them over the weekend and I again tried when I was back in London only for her to say what I said about the apartment is not true. She also asked why I only spoke to her today when I clearly have been contacted them aswell as the agent for days now. Worst customer service I have experienced with travelling. Do not book here unless you want to feel uncomfortable and be surrounded by damp and lying owners! I’m sure the reviews on the other agent are written but the owners themselves

EN: I am sorry to write an absolutely negative review. This is the first time I have ever done this, but I cannot avoid it because I must report a case of MISLEADING ADVERTISING. The guest house has an excellent location in the beautiful city center of Braga. The standard room is small but well furnished. The guest house would have all the features to be potentially very attractive. Unfortunately, much of the features mentioned both on the hotel website and on Booking are not there. The standard room is presented as an "apartment with a private entrance and a separate leaving room" This is false. It is a single room, also rather cramped. In fact, the description mentions an area of 30sqm, but in reality, I don't think it reaches 20sqm. On the direct website of the hotel, it is stated that the room has a sofa. We couldn't fit a suitcase, let alone if it is ever possible to place a sofa there... The bathroom is tiny. If you use the toilet you must hold the shower glass open. The description states that there is a bidet and that is not true. The list about in-room equipment is also untrue. For example, the description mentions the presence in the room of a washing machine (a detail that had made us lean toward choosing this guest house). The washing machine is present, but it is located in a closet on the ground floor right in front of the guest house's front door, at the mercy of anyone entering the building. And there, right, in front of the main entrance, one should hang out one's laundry.... The guest house does NOT have an elevator. Our room was located on the 3rd floor At the very least they should warn of the absence of an elevator for those who need it for medical reasons, as in our case. We pointed out to the front desk staff the discrepancies between the advertisement on booking and the actual condition of the hotel. The staff, embarrassed, agreed with us about everything and apologized. They told us that they have reported the error to Booking in the past and are waiting for them to make the necessary corrections. In any case, they informed us that they were unable to help us in any way. We then wrote to the owner who never responded to us. Should the owner contact us, reimburse us for all problems caused by the misrepresentations and correct the descriptions on the websites, we will update this review accordingly. Until then, condemning in the strongest terms those who resort to misrepresentation to promote their business in an intentionally deceptive manner, I can only strongly advise against this guest house.

Fantastic location right in the heart of the historic centre of Braga. Lovely little studio apartment, a thoroughly modern and tasteful conversion of 10 units in a 350 year old building belonging to the church next door. The facilities were excellent and ticked all our boxes and we were very appreciative of the friendly, helpful attention of Augusta who went “above and beyond” on check-in as we were delayed. Would highly recommend and definitely hope to return!

Excellent location amidst shopping and restaurants. New renovations, expect some teething issues. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Lovely ambience. Convenient work space. Good internet. Good value for money.

Great central location, very clean and great communication/staff, would easily stay there again next time we come back!

The apartment was very nice, clean and well equipped except for a blanket that had been folded up dirty, and the coffee machine not working properly. BUT we had enormous trouble finding it as email said #77 and it is #67, the code for door was wrong, and there is no reception. We were helped by another guest and then got locked out on street later. Almost impossible to get through to owners/staff as we didn't have wifi in street and the Hotel.com app is broken!
