Hotel con colazione inclusa a Brady

We were in Brady one night for a birthday party. We no longer have family there so a hotel was a must. If you are familiar with Brady you’ll know hotels are thin on the ground. I picked the BW because the reviews were pretty good. The hotel is sort of tucked away but just across the highway from Walmart and down from McDonald’s. It’s an older hotel, but our king room was large, clean, and quiet. There are a number of workers housed there as evidenced by the number of trucks in the parking lot. The parking lot is narrow and fills up by 9:00 although there were several bucket trucks parked in a vacant lot next door. The bed was comfortable and the AC was cool enough. The weirdest thing was the shower and vanity. The vanity was really low, like for a child. The shower was what dated the room. It was basically a box with a shower curtain and little plastic corners to keep the curtain in. No tub but a decent size. It just seemed weird in this day and age to find this kind of shower in a hotel. Ultimately it was all fine. We slept well and didn’t stay for breakfast although it smelled good. We would stay here again.

I cannot express to you the amazing customer service we received at this particular Holiday Inn. The manager Sterling did everything possible to make our stay amazing. We were not planning on stopping through but due to U-Haul troubles we needed a room same day. He gave us our options and as we waited to see if U-Haul was paying he made sure we were comfortable. Held our luggage, showed us the restroom downstairs in case we need to freshen up from our trip, and was so patient with us while we hung out in the lobby awaiting our call from U-Haul. We only stayed one short night, but the kindness he provided us weary travelers was incredible. The room itself was perfect. AC fully functioning clean and updated bathrooms and rooms made everything just even better. We didn’t check out pool or breakfast as we had to make an early start.
