Nestled in the the trees, enjoy over two acres of land and 300+ feet of shoreline. Stroll our plush lakefront path or navigate our secret, wooded trails to "the point" where you’ll find a lakeside fire pit and dock for your boat. On the way back, take a moment on our swing to ponder the week ahead, then drop your fishing gear and water sport equipment off at the boathouse.Our Hideaway offers 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath (2 beds and a pullout – sleeps 5). Simple, efficient and cute. The larger bedroom has a queen and the the second room a double/full. High speed interent included.The living room has a table for a meal or gaming, swivel chair, smart TV and views to the lake. It opens to our tastefully designed kitchen with all new cupboards and appliances. The bathroom has a shower/tub, washer and dryer.Store your skiing and snowmobile gear in the entry. The deck wraps around the front of the cabin for your quaint forest moments. Don’t mind the visitors (deer, fox, eagles and loons) as they are discreet. Pick your favorite trail down to lake! A private dock at "the point" is perfect for your boat or pontoon.Pontoon Rental: Please contact Bear Country Rental. They will bring the pontoon to our dock and pick up at the end of the week! We have another cabin next door for groups that need a larger or additional space. The Hilltop on Lake Namakagon (VRBO listing 3055394) can sleep 10 adults and up to 14 if adult / kid combo. The cabins have a shared driveway and parking lot. Each cabin has a dock and fire pit. We also have an on-site caretaker. Our caretaker will park by the shed near the entry of the driveway. Lake Namakagon is 3000 acres of four-season fun! It’s a Class A muskie lake, and excellent for all types of fishing. You bring the snowmobiles, fishing equipment and cross-country skis. We have a pontoon, canoe, kayak and plenty of lifejackets. The lake flows into the Namekagon River for those who prefer to float downstream.Boat or drive to several nearby resorts, restaurants and watering holes. The Loon Saloon has great burgers and pizza (gluten-free options), games and a General Store, conveniently located a quarter mile away on Anderson Island. The Garmisch Inn Restaurant & Bierstube Lounge is a replica German village known for its homemade ginger beer and elevated outdoor patio.
