Inside Sage, enjoy the traditional proportions of this new, old style home that is nestled beautifully in its own lovely corner on the spacious grounds of this very private estate…a mellowed by time botanical wonderland of some 5 acres, stretching down to its conservation coastline beside the waters of Mangrove Bay. Sage is adjacent to the iconic amenities of the Cambridge Beaches resort and its 1st Class restaurant ‘Breezes’… “that puts even St.Tropez in the shade.” We are also very close to sailboat and motorboat rentals, shipwreck diving, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, paddle boarding, etc. Also: discover our restored Royal Navy Dockyard just up the road…full of Bermuda’s art and history with restaurants, art galleries, lovely shops and the National Museum. Transport-Wise, there are pedal bikes, mopeds and electric four-wheel vehicle rentals nearby. Also, alternatively, we are walkable to both ferries and buses. There are numerous Nature Walks in just about every direction. The Railway Trail, starting right here in Somerset, goes all the way to the other end of Bermuda. Additionally, we can show you some of the best harder-to-find nature reserves and trails that are worth seeking out island wide. Situated on a quiet country road in the middle of a small neighborhood, you'll encounter Lavender Dreams. With beautiful garden views on both sides, this neighborhood is just a minute’s walk away from the picturesque scenic Railway Trails that lead all the way to Somerset & Southampton. Even more, it’s just a 7 minute gentle walk away is the World's Smallest Drawbridge, Somerset Bridge. Next to this bridge, you can also discover BDA Water Sports and the Marina. Want to explore the pristine ocean waters? BDA Water Sports offers boat rentals, jet ski tours, private boat tours, paddle-board & kayak rentals. In the opposite direction, approximately 20 minutes away, you will find yourself at Port Royal PGA Golf Course & the Rockaway Ferry Terminal. Feeling hungry? In less than a 3 minute walk, you will find yourself at the neighborhood grocery store. A bus stop that leads to Dockyard rests only a little beyond there.
