My son and I stayed two nights for college visits in the Boston area. This Residence Inn is very new and was an excellent base for our exploration of Boston. All rooms are king bed and a quality sofa bed. Quiet room although some sirens at night being near Boston Hospital. Nice bathrooms with excellent water pressure. Standard Residence Inn kitchenette. Good complimentary breakfast in lobby. Parking was $40 but safe and secure. The location is not great for walking (although we did walk to Fenway Park in the early evening which took about 30 mins, and then took a cab back). What you sacrifice in location here is made up for by the hotel being new and having reasonable parking prices, etc. Would stay here again.

I chose this hotel for three reasons – modern swanky look, closeness to T line station and moderate price for Boston during the period we stayed in the city i.e., if you could think an average rate of $350 is moderate ☹ The staff were quite pleasant – some more pleasant than others. Although the hotel was very busy, they are kind enough to afford us a couple of hours of late checkout at no cost. The room I stayed in had a simple but cool design cool. I liked everything about the room but not the fact that the rooms had carpets in them. I am sure it saves the hotel a bundle during the winters but its not the best hygienically speaking for clients. However, carpets in the hallway are a very good feature as it makes for a quieter stay ie less noise from the hallways My room was located the 13th floor. I felt lucky for the great city view. Although I did not like my very very small room and wardrobe. My wife and I had to hop over suitcases and around ourselves to get around the room. I liked the room toilet (albeit as small as it was) which was probably the best design feature of the room. The HVAC system is a bit loud when it comes on but I got used to it. The bed was comfortable. My wife and I slept really well. It’s a basic hotel with WIFI in the room but no laundry or room service etc. The hotel doesn’t provide proper breakfast or breakfast spread but has a contracted restaurant on site but its not quite the hotel breakfast you need to start your day. We didn’t get complimentary water in the room although the room has complimentary coffee and tea. What was annoying was that they sold water at an outrageous price of $5 per bottle in the lobby. They also did not replace the coffee that I used on day one. There are some convenience stores on West Broadway close to the hotel that we were able to buy water at a more reasonable price. Lastly, the hotel was busy and we returned in the evening of our last night to find out day unmade but we called and they sent – someone who I think was a handy man – not necessarily a house keeper to make the bed. The key question is – would I stay here again? Yes, especially if the more central Boston hotels have ridiculous prices. Its clean, safe and easy to get to the airport by taxi and other parts of Boston on the T network.

A mezzanotte siamo stati costretti a lasciare il nostro hotel a 20 minuti a distanza a causa di una situazione che non era sotto il nostro controllo. Il desk front in hotel originale ha chiamato il Hampton Inn & Suites Boston Crosstown Center e ha usato la sua carta di credito personale per confermare due camere per noi a $455 EACH. Sulla nostra strada al Hampton Inn & Suites Boston Crosstown Center ho ricevuto due messaggi di testo separati per collegamenti che confermano le nostre due camere. Gli ho mostrato i messaggi di testo che ho ricevuto e ho aperto i collegamenti con le conferme della stanza, e lui ha detto che non aveva alcuna registrazione di queste riserve. Gli ho detto che il cameriere del nostro hotel gli ha parlato al telefono meno di 30 minuti fa e io ero li', ho sentito la conversazione. Ho chiamato il cameriere all'hotel originale, ha confermato di aver parlato con questa persona e gli ha dato una carta di credito per tenere due camere. Il cameriere al Hampton Inn & Suites Boston Crosstown Center ha appena continuato a ripetere “siamo pieni, siamo pieni per 3 giorni. Gli ho detto che siamo membri di Hilton Honor e gli ho chiesto di aiutarvi a trovare un altro hotel vicino. Ha detto che non c'era nessun hotel. Tutti gli hotel a Boston sono prenotati a causa di diverse conferenze. Ora è 2:00. , siamo stati stanchi e lasciati senza andare da nessuna parte e questa persona non poteva preoccuparsi meno. Questo hotel è situato in un quartiere scettico. Diverse auto della polizia sono parcheggiate fuori. Abbiamo lasciato, camminato nel parcheggio in questa zona molto insicura di Boston alle 2:00 e abbiamo guidato per 50 minuti alla ricerca di un altro hotel. Il giorno dopo ho ricevuto un'e-mail dal centro di prenotazione che indicava che le nostre prenotazioni per le due camere sono state cancellate dal direttore del desk front.

A circa 30 minuti di auto per il centro di Boston con traffico. Tutte le merci a una distanza giusta. L'hotel mostra segni di diventare vecchio, ma è in generale davvero pulito. Il personale era molto gentile. Il colazione è soddisfacente. Oltre all'hotel c'è un posto di bowling con arcade.
