Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts

Elisabeth quite literally saved my trip from ending on a horrible note. The resort is gorgeous and it is without question one of the most beautiful and scenic resorts I have ever stayed at. The problem that arose for me was at the very end of the trip when I booked a day room to stay in because late check out was unavailable and I had a flight very late in the evening. When I got into the day room there was very little natural light despite having two windows that were facing a fence, no wifi networks were available, bugs were buzzing around, and the air conditioning was not working in the room.  When I went to check in with the concierge I was met with two individuals who were not very pleasant when I told them that I was having an issue with the day rooms air conditioning and that no Wi-fi was accessible in the room. One lady who was less than patient with me, told me that she called me maintenance and that I needed to go wait for them in the room. I sat in the room for 30 minutes before someone arrived and the maintenance person took another 15 minutes trying to fix the issue. He also tried to fix the wi-fi but it as I mentioned it was not accessible from inside the day room. All in all, I spent almost 2 hours sitting in the day room which was nothing short of a dimly lit prison where bugs were biting me and I sat sweating profusely, downing iced water all while 5 months pregnant. By the time I went back to reception I had gathered the courage to try to advocate for myself

I stayed at Le Bora Bora over the Christmas holiday 2022. I travel to at least 6 international destinations a year and was very excited to visit Bora Bora. If you are looking for a property that will meet your expectations/hopes DO NOT stay ay this hotel. The resort "nickels and dimes" you ($200+ pp, for forced holiday dinner, $170+ for late check out, etc), $150+ for boat transfer to resort (included with other resorts), 1 option for lunch dining and terrible customer service. I needed to update reservation due to flight schedules and the hotel stated I would be able to update via *********, when I spoke with ********** they stated when they spoke to the hotels management they would not honor my request - complete opposite of what I had in written email. I do not recommend this hotel and would recommend a nice hotel chain as they tend to take better care of individuals spending thousands of dollars on a vacation. I was and am still very disappointed in Le Bora Bora.

Amazing resort! We stayed in a lagoon view overwater bungalow and wow! what a spectacular accommodation. On top of the awe inspiring location and bungalow, the service was excellent and it felt like all of the staff were welcoming and dedicated to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. We loved the half day snorkel tour. Overall the food was decent but we felt like the Otemanu restaurant food wasn’t quite up to par. There are options for food though, and the Polynesian raw fish and ahe poke bowl at the Mickey Mickey restaurant were delicious!! Cocktails from the pool bar were also top notch. Overall we felt as though our money was well spent at this beautiful hotel :)

This hotel just top notch. Service, employees, food, room,Manedgers. I’m just can’t say enough about this property. We’ll be back for sure.

The garden villa with private plunge pool was divine! Staff were incredible and breakfasts were delicious. We loved our stay!

Staff were super friendly, and enjoyed our time, booked jet skis snorkeling, resort is polished and super clean, not many sea life unless you feed them, coral gardens looked great

Incredible hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable, and absolutely beautiful! The staff are all extremely friendly and very welcoming and accommodating. They truly want to ensure your happiness and comfort.

Pure heaven on Earth. Spent 3 nights here for Christmas and it was truly magical. The staff are all amazing caring and sweet, took amazing care of me the entire time. I cannot wait to return someday.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Le Bora Bora. The traditional over-water bungalows were recently fully refurbished and are modern and very comfortable. The food as well as friendliness of the staff exceeded our expectations. Most of the staff are locals, and they are great ambassadors for their beautiful country. If you're looking for a hotel in Bora Bora, we would definitely recommend this one.
