Hotel Anemone

Our family of six stayed at the hotel for the second time. We cannot fault it. Agnes, Johannes and their team are welcoming and provide great service in this relaxed and friendly family run hotel. We had one room on the top floor of the new building which was spacious and comfortable with a great view. Our four children had two rooms on the ground floor of the same building. Both comfortable. Less good views. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Fantastic salad bar and cheeses. Good choice of wine. Very well positioned - ski in and out easy. Great stay - we will be going back.

I've just enjoyed a wonderful four day stay at the Hotel Anemone. I'd never visited Lech before and chose the hotel because of the warm praise so many prior guests have written in earlier reviews. I can only repeat what has been said before, the hospitality I was shown at this family-run hotel was so warm and gracious. The entire staff could not have been more thoughtful and welcoming.  I've stayed in many charming small hotels in the Alps, but the Anemone surpassed anything I've previously experienced.  As to the hotel, my room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable and all the amenities you could want were provided. The location is as near to ski-in / ski-out as is possible as access on and off the piste is around 50m from the building. There is a ski room with individual lockers with heated boot warmers inside. There are also spa facilities, which I didn't use, but which were clearly popular as I saw many guests in their bathrobes heading to the spa in the post-ski / pre-dinner hours. Also games rooms with a pool table, ping pong, board games, etc... The food at the hotel was extraordinarily good. I was on a half-board plan and so had breakfast and dinner each day. The breakfast service was typical of Alpine hotels - a good and plentiful selection. Each afternoon there is a late-afternoon tea service with a small buffet of hot and cold snacks and pastries. But don't fill up on pastries as the dinner service is exceptional. Each day there is a set 4 course menu with meat, fish and vegetarian options. Suffice it to say is that the hotel's chef is tremendously talented. They rely on locally-sourced ingredients and the style of cooking is rooted in Austrian cuisine but the chef is very inventive. I lt was a joy to eat there each night. If you do stay at the Anemone, treat yourself and book a half-board plan. In short, a perfect stay in the most welcoming hotel - with the finest chef -  that you'll find in Lech.

A great and friendly experience with the highlight being the attitude of all the staff: nothing is a problem. The property itself is a well kept traditional Austrian mountain hotel particularly well situated for ski in/out access to the slopes.

What a lovely, friendly hotel... the food was good, coffee excellent and the staff very helpful .... it is family owned and run and we had a lovely stay. Lech is a super ski resort with a lot of charm. Ski in and out great not far to walk and heated boot locker as well!.... Would definitely recommend...

Stayed a week as a family. Really impressed by the care from most all the team.. it is a family run hotel and the sense of care is clear from the moment of arrival. A super location, just 20m from boot room to piste. super facilities with a great table tennis, pool room, gym, sauna area. Breakfast was great and we liked dinner very much too. What with eating a lunch on the slopes (well you need a rest) we struggled to do the afternoon tea justice. We had a big room on the second floor and a teen in a single room downstairs which was, as advertised, somewhat small but it worked well enough with a smart ensuite shower room. Good WiFi throughout. Some design touches were slightly off beat or dated and the place is less fancy than some more pretentious Lech hotels, but with great food, family run care and great location, we had a fabulous holiday.

As in the previous year, another wonderful experience... Excellent staff, location, food, rooms etc. 5 star treatment in a 4 star hotel. We feel there like at home. Very well run hotel by the owners themselves. they are on top of every single detail. Congrats. We'll be back next year...
