Older 3 star hotels in Germany can be very trying with nothing having changed for years, but the Schlossblick compensates for that by the friendliness of its staff. It‘s centrally located in the pretty town of Blankenheim, has simple but clean and warm rooms, with a great view of the castle (hence the name).

Wir haben 6 Etappen auf dem Eifelsteig erwandert. Die letzte Übernachtung hat uns einen sehr positiven Abschluss der Tour beschert. Alle sehr freundlich, kompetent und zuvorkommend. Zimmer sehr freundlich und sauber. Frühstück perfekt. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Sehr angenehmes Hotel mit guten Service. Nachmittags lecker Kuchen und Eis auf der Terrasse mit Schlossblick. Renovierte Zimmer (unseres sogar mit Balkon) und Fahrstuhl. Gutes Frühstückbuffet. Leider kein Abendessen. Da die Durchgangsstraße gesperrt war, war es auch nachts ruhig. Keine Ahnung wie das sonst ist.

Alles wat tot de ‘basis’ hoort is hier perfect op orde: goed ontbijt, sanitair schoon, WiFi goed. Maar wat dit hotel ècht fantastisch maakt is de eigenaresse. Zij is het toonbeeld van gastvrijheid, vriendelijkheid èn meedenken met haar gasten. Ze geeft echt top service aan haar gasten.

Prima hotel, vriendelijke eigenaresse, kregen kamer met prachtig uitzicht op het schloss, kamer is niet echt spannend ingericht maar comfortabel genoeg, er is ook een sauna met zwembad, laatste niet geprobeerd, ontbijt uitgebreid genoeg
