Property Vine - North Shore Kawana and Waterline

Clean, tidy, good outlook. Handy position for checking out the Sunshine Coast,

The hotel is located in the Sunshine Coast University Hospital Precinct. It is close to amenities such as Stockland Birtinya and only a few kms from Kawana Waters Shopping Centre. Flagship cafe 30 metres away opens for a nice morning coffee. Hayley at reception was very friendly and helpful on check-in and during our extended stay. We first had a studio room which was clean & tidy with a west facing balcony. There was no kitchen in the studio which didn’t bother us as we were aware of this. The only thing missing was a dustpan & brush, and a clothes airer rack would be great. We extended our stay and moved to a lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, balcony apartment overlooking the lake which came with a full kitchen. It also was very clean and tidy. Secure undercover car parking was assigned to both apartments. There is a free on-sight laundry should you need it. We found all staff very helpful. The area was very quiet during our week stay and we would happily stay here again.

Clean, affordable, friendly. Everything we needed and expected for basic affordable accommodation. I was pleasantly surprised by some nice water views. I will say the aircon was a little temperamental, seemed to either be ice cold or heating the room. Nothing that snuggles and a quilt couldn’t fix though!

Hi Team, thankyou for our stay. A couple of things could make it easier for guests. A hook / loop to hang the hand drying towel on. Three is spaced next to the vanity on the wall for this also a hook to hang your shower towel next to the door opening to the shower, there is space here also. A seal around the shower door to stop the water from soaking the mat. Just little things that could make a person's stay a little easier. Cheers and thanks again. Merry Christmas to one and all.

The Studio Room we had we had mould in the shower, very dusty floors, the sliding balcony door was unable to lock it & both mornings we were woken by maintenance crew working in the roof before 8am.

There was no possible way to connect the TV to the internet because it was asking for a name and password but there was no option to type

This property is disgustingly filthy. I alerted reception, who basically told me it was my fault for not telling them sooner. After checking in we popped into the apartment, changed our clothes then went back out till late, came back and to bed, the next morning my children both had surgery at 7am and I was unable to leave them that day. When i told them this it was still a case of you should have told us, no apology. Please don’t stay here if you are having surgery as it is unsanitary. Which is a shame as the proximity to the hospitals is handy. Thick dust everywhere, spilt food and drink all over the kitchen and fridge and on walls throughout. Black mould on windows and in washing machine. Floors are so filthy they leave dirt on your feet.

Amazing apartment with stunning view. Issues over parking despite a call to let them know my car is tall. They said no problem, there is ALWAYS plenty of visitors space available. This was not the case. The visitor spaces were full of little cars that could be in the underground car park. Won't be able to stay again due to this issue.

Convenience for family connection... Also simple clean lines along with desirable views...
