Nice cozy place with a wonderful, friendly staff. Good location close to the city center and Grand Central Railway station. The shared area is rather big and nice decorated. Beds are comfortable, and rooms are warm and homely. 1 bathroom for 10 beds may be too low, but I've never been in a queue.

Spacious hostel. Nice thick blanket and bed(: friendly receptionist make you feel welcome to hostel. It will be better if there is plugs in toilet. A walk to city then to canal walk, walk back to hostel not far.

The room didn't have any blinds, so getting to sleep at night without pitch darkness was challenging. Otherwise everything else was great, the room was spacious and clean, and the front of desk was clear, concise, and polite. There is a supermarket and bar nearby for food and drink. 

Quiet rooms and fairly clean. I was, however, not pleased with the fact that dormitories had mixed gender as this was not stated clearly while booking on Trip.com. I therefore had to resort to doing a lot of personal hygiene and simple care in bathroom/toilet

Close to city center very good place , there’s a large room for working out, great staffs

Very freindly and helpful staff. Would recommend others to stay as it is also a few minutes from the city centre

Its ok, be aware that towels are not included, even for the private rooms 🥲 £4 each towel

Check in staff were attentive and helpful but wish they could’ve spoken more about what is available to use at this accommodation. Only negative I have is the shower took a while to heat up but other than that the stay was wonderful and slept a full 12 hours that night

We stayed for a couple of nights here and it was acceptable. The staff were very friendly and the reception area is nice, so that was a good start. Our room and bathroom however were poor. The walls must be made of paper because you can hear everything from the hallway, other rooms, and especially other bathrooms. We faced the street and you could hear people walking by. If you're not a light sleeper and all you're looking for is a place to sleep and shower, this will do, but otherwise I recommend you keep looking.

I was looking for a place to stay near NEC for a political confernece but everything was outrageously priced, then found this youth hostel and thought why not for such a low price. I stayed in a bunk in a 6-bed room and it was fine. Rooms have big shower and own toilet, and each bunk has a curtain, storage unit, light and charging socket/usb socket and the bed is comfortable. Also very clean. As a bonus its located in a nice old building in a historic area next to a park and some excellent cafes. Very friendly staff and nice and big common area. Will definitely stay here again next year as it's easy and not expensive to get to the NEC.
