Hotel in zona Edgbaston Old Church, Birmingham

Clean, helpful... vicino al centro della città... accade vicino al ponte del sabato nero, e io ero divertente di loro.

Fabulous hotel in the heart of Birmingham. Walk is not too far to Broad street which is where we were headed. The decor is tastefully done and the pool table on the 1st floor was greatly enjoyed for a little bit of relaxation and competitiveness. Stayed in a Penter plus room on the 7rh floor and despite the lack of bath robe and slippers which it stated on trip, the room was modern, fresh, clean and comfortable.

Quindi se si visita Birmingham per avere un bevuto, una notte fuori o un'occasione speciale, questo hotel è perfetto. Inoltre, ci sono parcheggi sul sito dietro l'hotel che è molto conveniente, purtroppo il parcheggio non è scontato per gli ospiti che si fermano all'hotel. Dopo aver aspettato in una piccola coda, abbiamo cercato di entrare alle 14:30 (mezz'ora prima di controllare in “aperture”) ci è stato detto che la stanza non era pronta. Questo non era un problema perché avevano il deposito bagagli disponibili. Possiamo tornare a controllare alle 16:00 e la coda era orribile. Non ho mai visto una coda così grande come questa per controllare un hotel prima. Ci aspettammo 20 minuti fino a che non ci siamo accolti. La stanza era spaziosa, pulita e ben attrezzata. Anche se ci erano tazze di caffè lasciate dietro Le tende sono state ingresse. La camera da letto era molto moderna e aveva una passeggiata in doccia. I letti erano incredibilmente confortevoli e avevano soccette di plug accanto al letto, che è un enorme plus, come non tutti gli hotel hanno questo. Fortunatamente, è stato un processo più rapido di check-out, perché si può solo ponire le chiavi nella casella di check-out espressa. In generale, un comodo soggiorno notturno nel cuore di Birmingham, purtroppo il check-in è stato orribile.

La prima stanza è davanti all'ascensore Quindi ho chiesto di cambiare in camera tranquilla Mi ha dato una nuova stanza al 426. Sembra tranquillo da quando alla fine della sala Ma dopo aver finito, metti fuori le mie cose e entra nel bagno. Posso sentire l'odore di sigaretta Troppo lato per chiedere di muoversi di nuovo, quindi chiudo la porta del bagno. Improvvisamente si svegliano circa 4 sono perché ci sono voci di camion che si muovono cose fuori dalla mia finestra 😭😭 Molto rumore E ho lasciato l'hotel alle 6:00 Non riesco a dormire di nuovo. Quando si verifica, la signora non si preoccupa di chiedere come’ il mio soggiorno?? Da quando ho soggiornato così tanti vacanze in questa settimana Hanno sempre chiesto quando ho fatto il mio controllo. Quindi non mi dispiace di dirle del profumo di sigaretta o del rumore forte del camion al mattino.

A prebooked and paid for room was changed 3 times on arrival. Wifi booked and paid for 2 people was only provided to one. However, the Assistant Manager and Team handled this and us with concern, professionalism and great client orientation, resolving the matters, and odffering complementary breakfast. Overall, and ultimately, it turned out a good stay

There is so much to unpack here when it comes to Selina Birmingham. Never again am I staying at this hellhole of a hotel. For a name like Selina, the hotel sure is nightmarish to stay at. It's shameful that the hotel shares the same name with my non-biological/cosplay partner. There is no breakfast but at least, the bedding, the pillows and the duvet are comfy (but most likely due to the fact that I’m tired) and the wi-fi is decent. Unfortunately, this is where the compliments stop, especially when the dorm rooms are so dark, you have to turn on the flashlight on your phone in order to see. Not to mention, there is no television in the room I was staying in. To make matters worse, the dorm room is cold, coupled with no heating. I honestly don't mind the cold most of the time but the room temperature is too cold for my liking. Speaking of the ground floor, the Korean receptionist told me that I'm not allowed to eat my food at a table at the cafe and told me to climb the stairs all the way to the third floor in order to eat my food. It isn't fair, considering the receptionist with the short, dark hair tends to allow me to eat my food at a table at the cafe during the very early hours of the morning. I eventually lost my patience and yelled at the Korean receptionist. It's rare when I lose my patience. I threatened in a growly voice with, ”I suggest you fill the pot noodle to the top with water unless you want a scathing, negative review to be blasted on the radio for everyone to hear?”. Finally, she got the memo. The rooms, bathrooms and toilets and facilities are unsanitary (for example, there are biscuit crumbs all over the bed sheets. I didn't know until I got out of bed), the entire hotel itself is not accessibility-friendly as if the lack of a lift and the staff not being accommodating towards disabled people such as myself isn’t of any indication, the kitchen and the kitchen equipment on the third floor are dirty, there is no hot water in some of the bathrooms within the dorm rooms, the bathrooms and the dorm rooms are shared (therefore, there is no privacy), the lights keep turning themselves off if you’re idle (I’m more used to turning on and off the lights on my own accord), you need to pay £10 for a padlock which is complicated for disabled people and the list goes on. The toilets, bathrooms, kitchen etc are just as dirty as Badea Faulkner and Olive Allison Brown from the Avanzar House in Middleton, Manchester not cleaning up after themselves. And don’t get me started on the staff being problematic. They aren’t very useful to the point where I had to shout at them due to their language barriers and them not listening to me, let alone understanding me. This is troubling for autistic people like me. Never in all my years have I encountered such frustrating hotel staff members. Compared to the other hotels I've stayed at in the past, the hotel staff in these hotels were never infuriating. If a lack of staff doesn’t tell you the appalling

Great hotel five mins from the bus stop. Staff very helpful. Only issue was stepping into the bath. The glass screen is fixed so you have to step in and get out the end where no ridged service. I would advise if you are small or with shorter legs then for safety ask for a shower or put a towel in the bath to stop you from falling. Housekeeping beware please ensure cups are properly washed.

Molto bene alloggio molto comodo e acqua calda, e in futuro penserà ad alloggiare.E'che la posizione lontana non mangia niente, se è più difficile mangiare merci.C'è una stazione di bus vicino.

Ogni volta si accoglie caldamente a Redwings. Il personale è carino e non può essere più utile. Le camere sono di base ma pulite e confortevoli. L'hotel è circondato da bar e ristoranti e sulla strada principale di autobus verso la città di Birmingham. Perfetto per un breve soggiorno a prezzi ragionevoli.
