Thirsk

The room was fine. The issue was the secure door from the reception to the rooms was propped open all the time I was there. There was never a staff member near the door Given the recent incidents at budget hotels, it seems like a lack of care for customer safety

Quiet location with convenient supermarket across the road. I consider it a safe area for my family and value for money.

We stayed at the premier inn on Friday night after our day at the races. It’s the third year we have stayed. We were greeted by Megan who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Beds are comfortable. We were gifted a box of chocolates in our room from the housekeeping team which was a perfect touch. Breakfast was fantastic. Megan was so chatty and welcoming and also made a lot of my two year old nephew who took a liking to the automatic doors at the entrance. We won’t hesitate to book again next year.

A day at the races and a weekend in Thirsk was an excellent experience which in part is down to the accommodation. The hotel is close enough to Thirsk to go for a trip for a relaxing hot chocolate and again later for a meal. Close enough to allow time to have breakfast and get ready for a day at the races on the Saturday. It's the breakfast that separates Premier Inn from the rest, and the beds provide a great nights sleep.

Please watch when you stay here regarding parking entered my Reg when starting a 3 day stay and still got a parking fine two weeks later lost appeal after sending all my proof of a 3 day stay Horizon the parking firm said they would reduce it to £30 as a good will gesture Ripp off will never return to this Hotel

Very comfortable bed, clean room, good food, although shrinkflation seems to have attacked the restaurant. 5oz of gammon is too small as the standard serving, regardless of the option to double.

Brilliant venue and top class Premier Inn with intergrated restaurant. The staff are attentive and still manage to chat albeit getting on with their work.
