I stayed at the ABBA during a work conference in Bilbao in early April. The hotel is directly across the parking lot from the arena and is in an overall central area to walk out and explore in to the city. The rooms are fairly standard and bit old; however, the room was clean and everything work accordingly. I will note that they do not put irons/boards in the rooms but they did deliver them quickly when asked. Another note is that the TV doesn't have any English speaking stations. The breakfast buffet is very nice in the morning with a fairly wide selections of breads, meats/cheese, boiled eggs, pastries, fruits, yogurt and juices. I did have dinner at the hotel on the first night and was very impressed with the seabss (local fish on the menu). Very nice portion and very flavorful

Respecto al hotel, un poco caro para ser un tres estrellas, habitación pequeña, y el hotel en general un poco descuidado. El desayuno caro para un tres estrellas.

I needed my boyfriend to stay over while I was traveling and this was the perfect place. This isn't a 5-star hotel, but it did the trick and we were very comfortable - here is why. PROS - Coming from Bilbao Airplane or taking Bus?...: It is close to 2 blocks from Bilbao Intermodal and if you are coming from the airport, this hotel is an easy walk from where the bus drops you off in San Mamés. The location is also SUPER safe. - Transportation: If you look down the street and cross it, you will also see the tram station along with the metro station. - Food?: There is food everywhere. This is Bilbao. Spend 2 euros (or really please buy a Barik card) and go into the city, you won't be disappointed. The best part about the tram is that it goes theoretically left or right. I live close to NYC so I understand it can be complicated, but the system in Bilbao, chef's kiss. - Bed/Room: Pro? The bed/room you get in sleek, modern, and for a REALLY CHEAP PRICE! Please don't hassle your way into spending a lot of money on a hotel in Spain. It is not truly worth it. Just get this place, feel comfortable, and safe. - Staff? There are not many, but the ones that are there will help and accommodate you. You just need to be nice. I say this because I went in to check in and someone was being helped. They weren't that nice to staff, so please remember, we are all human. CONS - Cleaning: I will say, the bathrooms were clean, but the headboard for me was dusty. It might have been that the room wasn't used a lot. But please don't worry, it did not effect my stay considering the price was reasonably cheap. - THE ENTRANCE!: You need to understand, their rating is a 2/5 stars but it is NOT because they are bad, in Spain it is based on what the hotel/hostels have and DON'T have. So what they don't have is a front reception. Listen closely if you are going to go here. Once you get on the street, you will need to buzz into the door as if you are requesting to go to someone's apartment. OR they will give you a code before hand. Once you go in, you need to go straight till you can anymore. Make a left and find the elevator. There you will need to press the

L'ostello dispone di camere da letto molto pulite. Il letto era anche molto pulito. Purtroppo il letto era per la mia grandezza un paio di centimetri troppo breve. La pulizia delle strutture sanitarie non c'era nulla da fare. La piscina e la doccia erano molto pulite. Il brunch era molto semplice, ma sensibile abbastanza. Una sala molto pulita e anche un soggiorno molto pulito con grande TV a schermo piatto. Il personale è stato molto gentile e amichevole e utile. Il personale parla anche inglese. Il pagamento delle carte di credito è anche possibile. Ci sono anche due sedie da tavolo. Completamente attrezzato per i disabili. Super. Ci sono sufficienti possibilità di parcheggio sul sito dell'albero. Ci sono state anche diverse macchine per bere e succhiare. 24Stunden ricezione. Non si possono raggiungere a piedi attrazioni, ristoranti, città, chiese e musei. Il bus n. 28 sta per arrivare direttamente davanti alla casa e andare in città. Ho avuto la mia stanza al settimo piano. Da lì si aveva (esattamente la notte) una vista spectacolare sulla città. E 'stato semplicemente radiante tutto. Veramente magnifico. Sarei comunque di nuovo lì per dormire, a condizione che io sia a Bilbao. Buon e conveniente. Ma un super alloggio giovanile.
