If I could give this little slice of heaven more stars I would. This place is perfect for so many trip types, want to see the real Costa Rica or have a relaxing, romantic, or family vacation, Mi Casa es Su Casa are all these and more wrapped up into one. The host is top-notch and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is world-class. They ensured our rooms were super clean and also provided tips to the local spots around town and other attractions. The property itself is beautiful and seamlessly blends into nature, as you walk the grounds you get to see the birds and animals of Costa Rica. The location is great as you are close enough to easily enjoy the town of Bijagua and the local attractions such as Rio Celeste but far enough away that you won't be bothered by the sounds of traffic.

What an amazing place! The moment we arrived, we were in love. The design of the space perfectly highlights the beautiful scenery and feeling of the area. It also allowed our large party to have our own separate bedrooms with a shared kitchen area to spend time catching up and save money and time on some meals. Even when there was the occasional rain, there were wonderful rocking chairs to enjoy that show from the patio. The attention to detail was impressive for cleanliness and all the kitchen needs. The host truly is a super host, being so responsive and knowledgeable about the area. It is such a tranquil spot outside of the busy part of Bijagua, while still being a close drive to all the attractions, including Rio Celeste, town restaurants and breweries, and more. We stayed for a week, but would have stayed much longer and were set up to do it with washing machine, kitchen, etc. I can definitely say that we will find our way back!

Wow, where to start? This place was absolutely perfect for our group! The Casitas are awesome, but Nana and Jeffry are wonderful!!! The grounds are beautiful, it is a very relaxing vibe here. They provide a wonderful breakfast in the morning, and they are beautiful souls who embody Pure Vida! The property is close to many activities, and they provide great recommendations for tours and local eats. While I can't say enough good things about the property, it is the people who made this an very wonderful experience! Thank you for everything, we will be back.

This was our first stop on our vacation and it couldn't have been better. Nana and Jeffrey are so kind and warm and willing to help in any way they can, the breakfast was exceptional every single day (we stayed 3nights) - fresh and hot with fresh juice and milk from the cow that morning, amazing coffee and local jam (ask for the story, you too will want to bring some home with you). I can't say enough good things about this place and the people who run it - we were so sad to leave. The casitas were comfortable and very clean. It's a delightful, beautiful, inviting place to stay, 5/5 highly recommend!!!

What a find this place was. Stayed here for one night after visiting the Rio Celeste and had a fabulous experience. The whole place was a delight and the service was impeccable. Special mention to Jefrey who could not have been more helpful on our arrival, helping us arrange a lovely takeaway delivery for dinner and setting out a beautifully laid out table for us to eat it in the communal area. Gorgeous place with spotless, spacious, beautifully decorated Casitas. Loved watching the toucans over breakfast and really enjoyed both the early morning farm tour (especially having a go at milking a cow!) and the woodland trail. My daughter also fell in love with Canela the playful puppy. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for sharing your lovely farm with us. Highly recommended.

One of the most memorable places I've ever stayed! You really feel like you're immersed in the jungle with the big windows a little like 'jungle tv'. It was lovely just to laze on the balcony looking up at the canopy, listening to the rain. We also enjoyed seeing lots of birds (including toucans!) from the dining area and had about half an hour watching a whole troupe of howler monkeys (including babies!) The staff were all lovely too and it was reassuring to know the place has B-corp status.

We had such an amazing time at Casitas Tenorio! Breakfast was amazing every morning, beautiful views everywhere you turn, and kind helpful hosts to answer every question you have.

We had a lovely time staying with Nana and her team at the Casitas. We booked it as part of a Stubborn Mule itinerary (family of 4 with 2 kids aged 11 and 13) as we wanted to experience the farming area of CR, after having visited La Fortuna and before going on to the coast. The venue is in the middle of some lush forest in the working town of Bijagua and the local people were really friendly and helpful. Nana and her team at the Casitas are very much engaged in the community, providing employment and education to the local people. Plus, as a certified BCorp, doing so in a sustainable way. The morning breakfasts are all locally sourced - including from the on-site farm - and set us all up for the day. We had already planned some excursions (Tree Chocolate, Tubing with Onca Tours) but also got further recommendations and help from Nana and the team. The accommodation is in keeping with the surroundings and you go to sleep (and wake up) to the sounds of birds, insects and howler monkeys. It's clean, beautifully decorated with murals from a local artist, decently sized (big bathroom!) and with really comfortable beds that we all slept well in. And when I got a flat tyre, Nana was on-hand to help with a quick visit to a local mechanic to get it sorted. All in all, a real highlight of our trip and the warmth of the team shone through.
