Hotel in zona Galerie 13 avril, Biarritz

Spent 2 nights here for a short break, as we love Biarritz. It was our first visit to this hotel. It is centrally situated, making it an ideal base for exploring the town. We received a warm welcome at check-in and were delighted with our 3rd floor room. We booked a prestige room with a sea view, which was a good decision and well worth the money. The room was spacious and comfortable. Very good bed and bedding. The coffee machine was appreciated, as was the fridge stocked with complimentary soft drinks. These were topped up daily. The bathroom and separate toilet were spacious and well furnished with toiletries. Bath robes and slippers were provided. I especially loved the anti-fog mirror. The shower was powerful, with plenty of hot water. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel, but did use the bar for a drink and a planche of charcuterie and cheeses, which were delicious. All staff were friendly and eager to help. I was surprised that although the hotel is classed as a monument, there is no information on its history in the rooms. To me, that is a selling point which should be well publicised. We had to check the internet for information on the background of the hotel, which is fascinating. It would be well worth printing off a page and leaving it in the rooms. Overall an excellent stay and we will definitely be returning.

This hotel is ideal location just a five minute walk away from the main streets of Biarritz and an easy inexpensive ride from the airport on the number 36 bus. We were greeted efficiently at reception and allocated a superior room on the first floor overlooking the swimming pool. Room was not massive but big enough for two travelling with just one suitcase. Bed was comfortable, full length mirror and plenty of sockets to charge iPad and iPhone. Shower was good ,air conditioning worked effectively and we had a comfortable sleep. Wifi worked well on room and by the side of the pool. As others have said TV lacks any English language stations. Pool is not huge but large enough to cool down and exercise in, there were sufficient loungers around the pool and complimentary towels available from reception. Breakfast was offered in two price ranges. €12 and €20 but neither were great value for money. There is a Carrefour supermarket across the road where you can buy breakfast items and there is a kettle in the room. There was a bar but we never witnessed it open. Hotel did the job, probably good value for Biarritz.

Check in was smooth. We felt as if the receptionist was laughing at us? Room was small but spotless. Think the size of the room is standard for Biarritz. Beds were super comfy. Aircon was great. Shower was lovely. However they need to invest in some blackout curtains as we woke up super early to a bright room- curtains were light and white. Roadworks were on outside but that is not the hotels fault. Reasonable price for location too. Happy with our stay.

La chambres est vieille, l hôtel est vieux, on le sait. Mais malgré ça c est propre. Rien à redire de notre chambre. Le personnel est très gentil à accueil. Nous avons pris trois matins dessuite le petit déjeuner sur place, on s est régalé. Pain frais, croissant, jus d orange de qualité..Nous étions très bien!! Et encore merci aux personnes qui nous ont accueilli

Very nice, comfortable hotel. Perfect hosts, both in the evening and in the morning. Very nice breakfasts. And some nice eating places in the neighborhood, the Thai street food place nearby had some good food

AVVISO MENSONGERE: si vende una camera da 17 a 24 m2 con un letto Queen size per 231€ per le 2 notti dal 13 al 15 agosto 2022 Ci siamo trovati in una stanza di appena 11 m2 (solo il posto per fare il giro del letto), un letto di 140, piccolo bagno con scarico di bagno che non si tiene e una maniglia di doccia che non si tiene neanche sulla barra di doccia (che è stato segnalato al ricevimento) La camera non era una classica ma una base a 110€ per notte (vedi foto) Apparentemente, non siamo i primi a lamentarsi (dixi la ricezione) Che cosa intende fare per compensare ???? E speriamo un po' più che la differenza di prezzo sia 11€ !!!!!

Tutto è perfetto. Sorridi a tutto il personale della reception e dell'hotel. La camera è molto confortevole, pulita e ordinata. La colazione a buffet è molto ricca e deliziosa. La posizione permette di fare tutto a piedi. L'unico inconveniente è che non c'è parcheggio, ma c'è un parcheggio comunale nelle vicinanze. consigli

Posto molto tranquillo e arredamento molto piacevole di fronte all'Adour. Accoglienza e dipendenti cordiali e sorridenti. Prezzo ragionevole io consiglio
