La posizione è ottima. Il personale cortese ma distaccato. Pessima la qualità del sonno: folle il fatto che le camere, che danno sulla città,  non siano insonorizzate. Sono stato obbligato a dormire con i tappi per le orecchie. La camera è confortevole e ben accessoriata. La colazione, se pur abbondante,  è di qualità media ( il pane ed i lievitati generalmente duri ). Il tipo di cibi favorisce la colazione alla turca. Il personale della sala colazione sicuramente cortese ma assolutamente disorganizzato, cosa incomprensibile per un 5 stelle da cui ci si aspetta in servizio inappuntabile. Infastidisce il fatto che gli ospiti siano, de facto, di serie A e B. Le stanze sono divise su più plessi. Il principale aveva, ad esempio, il disinfettante per le mani ovunque,  anche in ascensore. Invece nel plesso in cui avevo la stanza ciò non avviene, addirittura in 3 giorni il dispenser dell'unico ascensore non è mai stato riempito. L' acensore  serviva sia al personale,anche di cucina, che per gli ospiti. Sono un socio Platino del club Accor e non ho trovato nessuna attenzione particolare, come solitamente avviene. Tutto ciò che ho scritto in recensione l'ho comunque detto anche in reception al check out, in quanto mi piace sempre essere trasparente e corretto con chi offre un servizio.

Grande posizione vicino alla famosa strada shopping di Istiklal! Molti ristoranti, bar e negozi vicini. Il buffet era delizioso con grande varietà. Il personale era amichevole e utile. Il letto è un po' duro ma pulito. La doccia in bagno ha 1/4 vetro e nessuna porta, quindi è piuttosto fastidioso. Buona acqua calda con asciugamani completi. Una notte la stanza ha profumato come fumo di sigaretta. Presumo che sia venuta dall'ac (centralizzato). Sembra che lo siano consapevoli, quando erano pronti con un kit di fragranza.

Nicely equipped, comfortable bed, friendly staff and centrally located but that's where the positives end. We had a comfort room which was still expensive per night by most people's standards.. It was located below street level and would be better described as a dungeon. You needed a torch to find your room and even with all the lights on inside the room in August it was gloomy in the extreme. There was a small outside space completely covered by tree branches leaving the table and chairs constantly covered in dead leaves. The killer though was their cheapest wine at Cecconi's priced at £47 + 13% (£60?!) for a 5 euro bottle of Pata Negra. We were advised it was due to Turkish tax on alcohol. Sorry but we dined at Ciragan Palace the following day and their far superior wines started at £12 cheaper per bottle with no 13% added automatically. To add insult to injury... when we left they called a regular (yellow) taxi and told us we had to pay a fixed rate of 350 tl because where we were going was 'very crowded' and taxis were cancelling bookings unless we agreed a fixed rate. The taxi driver then confessed that the journey was 200 TL but Soho House told him to charge us a fixed price of 350TL ?! Does anyone at HQ have any idea what is going on at ground level? Perhaps Soho House has expanded too quickly for its own good. We will never stay at SH again.

These guys are a scam operation. They’ll offer you airport transfer at inflated prices, there driver won’t show up, so you’ll take a different cab/taxi, then when you end up at the hotel they will make paying for the their shuttle (which was never there) a precondition for handing you the room keys (which was already paid for in my case). Total scam operation, rude front desk staff and general manager. I chose to leave that hotel there and then which my four suitcases and family of four, took a cab, found a hotel while in cab over phone, paid double obviously at the last minute, at another hotel, was greeted there again with the familiar Turkish hospitality and the worst travel nightmare came to an end. Plus the location is horrible, deep, narrow, steep alleyways, most larger van/shuttle type vehicles can’t make it without scraping their bottoms and getting damaged in the process, which if you don’t have a nice driver you may end up having to pay for. Consider your self forewarned, Don’t stay there. And like a typical scam operation they change their name frequently. Sometimes add Taksim to their name, sometime not. Dopo l'arrivo all'hotel, solo standard.Foto della camera su Trip.com Vi ho chiesto di mandarlo e di controllarlo, quindi ho continuato a dire che il deluxe della famiglia era giusto. Non sono arrabbiato e non mi trattano più del denaro che ho pagato, ma l'hotel Ho protestato fermamente per essere stupido e ho finito male con la stanza. Riconoscendo che era stato assegnato e spostato.La stanza che ho spostato non è un deluxe familiare Solo tre camere da letto.Non significa muoversi, ma solo rinunciare. A parte l'ubicazione all'aeroporto e dall'aeroporto.

My wife and I enjoyed our week-long stay in the Soul Hotel in Istanbul in January 2023. We found a “home” there and got treated like “VIPs”. (I’m confident that EVERY Soul Hotel guest likely receives VIP TREATMENT, though.) Normally, I would not post a review because leaving a SUPER review has the potential to make it harder for me to find availability for my own stay. However, I see that recently there was posted a crazy review. People need to know that that review is baloney, and I don't believe one single word of it, and neither should you! I’m American and have stayed in hotels throughout the world, so I am quite experienced to say that there is a combination of factors that makes the Soul hotel one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed in anywhere. The soul hotel is IMMACULATE. Not only is it clean, but it is also SAFE; the temperature controls in the room ALL work perfectly; the water pressure is SUPER; it is QUIET; the sheets and towels are new and high quality; it has a TERRIFIC breakfast; it’s a beautifully designed hotel with a lovely combination of antique and modern (see the photos)—BUT… incredibly----these are not even the best feature. THE BEST feature of the hotel is: its STAFF. They are ALL GOOD PEOPLE. The staff members really CARE about guests. They ALL speak English quite well and most speak other languages, too! They are trustworthy, knowledgeable, and helpful. When you combine all these elements together, it makes for a truly memorable experience that is even reasonably priced(!) On top of the pricing, the design, the excellent staff, the great food and immaculate cleanliness, THEN there's the LOCATION. The location of the hotel is right in the middle of the most charming part of Istanbul. There are antique shops and art galleries and coffee houses all around, and it’s even around the corner from the #1 Hammam Spa in Istanbul. It’s also located about 7 minutes walking distance from Istiklal Street, the major street where all the big shops are. There’s simply no better accommodations to be had in Istanbul. I invested an huge amount of time researching and vetting various hotels before choosing the Soul Hotel, and I chose entirely correctly. So, for free, you now get to benefit of all my investigations and experience, and I get to worry that I’ll have to fight you in the future for my own reservations. I wrote this because I couldn't ignore the reputation of this really fine establishment being attacked by crazy lies. Soul Hotel staff give their best for guests, and I feel obliged to stand-up against any bad things implied about this hotel. Soul Hotel is a CLASS ACT all the way.

Ok, quindi, questo hotel ottiene un solido 3.8-4.0 fuori 5.0. Il personale è molto amichevole e la posizione è fredda. Camminare breve al tram (15 min). La stanza è super pulita, e come ho detto, il personale è tutto super amichevole. Il letto era davvero confortevole, probabilmente una delle migliori caratteristiche della stanza. Ha bisogno di un lavoro di pittura, ma non si è sentito vecchio o indossato. Ora ai coni... il wifi ha succhiato, ha lasciato tutto il tempo o non avrebbe semplicemente collegato... e ho avuto il lavoro da fare. Il bagno ha bisogno di una pulizia, ha una struttura di deposito di limone o acqua che rende la doccia non grande, ma non è la doccia peggiore che abbia mai avuto. Il colazione è ok, niente di speciale, semplice tariffa, ma è ok. Il piccolo caffè è bello sedersi e rilassarsi. In generale, consiglio questo hotel, è un buon prezzo e mi fermerò di nuovo.

It's not the first time I'm going back and spending my vacation in Faik Pasha Hotels. The atmosphere, clients orientation, good level of service, friendliness and hospitality of the hotel team are very attractive. As well as the interior of the rooms and apartments, impeccable cleanliness, snow-white towels and bed linen, comfortable mattresses and pillows. There is an excellent location in the Jihangir area, walking distance to the metro, tram stop and ferries. Thare is the pleasant restaurant at the hotel, where breakfasts are served. The breakfasts are delicious and fresh (including homemade cakes), held in a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. Nilufer, Emre, Levent, thank you very much for your care and help during my stay.
