Hotel in zona Museum of Prints and Drawings (Kupferstichkabinett), Berlino

At first glance the hotel is modern looking. I'll start with saying we'd arrived in the early hours and paid for a room upgrade. If this was an upgrade then I dread to think what a standard room looked like. The large sofa had a lot of stains. The vanity chair was badly stained (I thought it was wet!) The shower floor looked like it was covered in silicone residue in areas. The complimentary toiletry set was half missing and what was there was almost empty. There was a dirty earbud left behind and the toilet brush looked like it belonged in a cowshed. We were there for 4 nights and woke up each day with itchy bites on our lower legs and my husband also had them across his shoulder blade. I wasnt sure what it was so not wanting to waste time we got on with the day. On day 3, I decided to check the bed as once more we had been bitten and found little red/brown lice in the sheet. I videoed and photographed them. I showed the 2 women at reception my bites, the photos and videos of the bedbugs and was immediately offered a different room. It was our last night so we agreed. There were dirty cups in the new room and the bath tap was falling out of the floor. The bath also seemed to be leaking. We needed to check out at 6am so i asked if someone could contact me about the problems we'd had. Instead, I got emailed a receipt. That day I sent an email outlining the bed bug problem with photos/videos tonthe email reception had given me. I asked for someone to respond within 24 hours. Its now been almost a month and not even an acknowledgement. We also have videos of the bedbugs but cannot upload them to this review as it does not support video files.

Il bagno in camera necessita di un restyling. Pochi piani di appoggio nell'intera stanza, abbiamo usato lo sgabello come comodino. Un giorno hanno dimenticato di sostituire gli asciugamani, hanno tolto quelli usati, ma non hanno messo quelli puliti, siamo tornati tardi e abbiamo usato lo stesso asciugamano in due. Le luci a led nella camera erano staccati dalla cornice e di notte restavano luminescenti anche da spenti. Il comando delle luci sulla testata del letto ha una intensità che può dare fastidio. Si consiglia vivamente di portarsi o chiedere una mascherina per la notte. Per l'asciugacapelli è stato necessario lasciare una cauzione in contanti. Colazione continentale accettabile, senza nessuna mancanza, continuamente rifornita. In camera ci hanno fatto trovare una culla per bambini come richiesto nella prenotazione, senza nessun extra. Pulizia degli ambienti comuni. Ambiente silenzioso. Posizione perfetta. Ottimo il servizio di deposito bagagli.

Le dimensioni della camera sono ok, i camerieri sono molto gentili, la pulizia è buona, la colazione è ok, c'è molta scelta di pane e formaggio, ma il cibo caldo contiene solo uova, funghi e pancetta, e il prosciutto comprende anche pollo e maiale, ma il colore sembra buono. Non troppo fresco. La posizione è sicuramente un vantaggio: se cammini velocemente, puoi raggiungere l'ingresso della stazione centrale di Berlino in cinque minuti. Ci sono molti ristoranti e supermercati nelle vicinanze. Questo hotel può essere considerato un business hotel in Europa. Ci sono molte attrazioni nelle vicinanze, tra cui il Palazzo del Parlamento e la Porta di Brandeburgo, che richiedono dai quindici ai venti minuti a piedi. Si consiglia di acquistare una tessera per i trasporti, che è molto conveniente.

La posizione è a pochi passi dalla stazione centrale di Berlino. I servizi sono buoni ma alcuni non sono gratuiti. La stanza all'interno sembra vecchia a differenza della hall, dei corridoi, ecc. Non molto servizio svolto. Il giorno del check-out, apriranno la porta per verificare se c'è ancora qualcuno all'interno anche se non è ancora l'orario del check-out.

Le cose prima del check-in e dopo il check-out possono essere lasciate solo in deposito a pagamento per 4/6 euro, si prega di tenerne conto al momento della prenotazione. Ho vissuto in questa rete in altre due città e lì non c'erano problemi del genere. Ci è stato offerto un drink di benvenuto a base di birra o vino. C'è un bar al primo piano, non puoi avere una cucina con i tuoi appunti, quindi bevi i tuoi drink per strada. La stanza in sé è spaziosa, 4 letti, ci sono le tende, la stanza è calda, ci sono molti bagni sul pavimento, ma vengono puliti dalle 10 alle 00, sono chiusi durante la pulizia, poco prima del check-out, e avevo per cercare un altro bagno. Ingresso al piano e alla camera tramite chiave elettronica, per la quale è richiesta una cauzione di 2 euro. La colazione viene servita a 7 euro, io non l'ho presa, l'ha presa il mio amico e non l'ha apprezzata.

La mia moglie e io non abbiamo fatto la prenotazione per la strada dall'ultima parte del muro di Berlino. L'hotel è molto pulito, ha un servizio amichevole e è meglio prezioso di qualsiasi hotel circostante. Il colazione è eccellente e la camera è pulita ogni giorno. La posizione è terribile, vicino a una stazione di metropolitana per raggiungere la città. Ci sono alcuni dati cattivi sul parcheggio: avete 3 opzioni. 1. ) 17 € in un parcheggio vicino all'hotel. 2.) 10 € al East Side Mall, a 5 minuti a piedi. 3.) Libero, vicino al muro ma la sua posizione è sconosciuta. East Side Mall è stata la nostra preferenza. Non c'è bisogno di guardare altrove. Prenota!

Ho visitato recentemente questo hotel con il mio ragazzo e sono stato molto impressionato. Abbiamo arrivato poco prima dell’iscrizione e ci è stato permesso di andare in camera nostra. La camera era molto spaziosa con un letto estremamente confortevole e una doccia sorprendente. Anche l'ultimo giorno il nostro volo non era per un po' e avevano il permesso di aspettare nel lobby dopo l'uscita, che aveva bellissimi divano e posti a sedere, era tranquillo e c'erano persone che lavoravano. Il personale era molto lodevole e grande per il prezzo.

L'Estrel Berlin è un hotel impressionante. Le camere sono spaziose e confortevoli. Il servizio è professionale e precondizionato. Il buffet per colazione offre una vasta selezione di cibi deliziosi. La posizione dell'hotel è conveniente, vicino ai mezzi di trasporto pubblico e alle attrazioni. In generale, un hotel consigliabile per un piacevole soggiorno a Berlino.

By the time this incident happened, I have already completed a 4 days stay in the hotel and was willing to increase my stay. For that purpose, I went to Mrs. Hausweld and asked to please consult the availability and the price of the rooms for extra nights. In response, I was told that the final price, including the city tax for 3 additional nights would be 350 euros with breakfast included. Consequently, I was willing to go along with that reservation and requested to pay by card. Afterward, then Mrs. Hausweld offered me the POS terminal to go along with the payment, and the amount ascended to 419 euros. Due to that unexpected difference, I kindly asked for an explanation and was told that 419 euros were the final price, and if I was not happy with it I would need to leave the hotel immediately. As a result, I kindly refused to pay that amount and asked her to please consult the price for two nights instead of three. In response to that, the front desk manager told me that no more rooms were available for me and that I needed to check out now and leave the hotel. Following that conversation, I went on Booking.com and reserved a room for the same days, without breakfast, and surprisingly rooms were still available. Next, I went to the front desk and asked to please pay for my booking Mrs. Hausweld looked at me in an unfriendly manner and told me she could not find any reservation. After 5 minutes of searching, she could finally open my booking. Then, although I already provided a credit card in my booking, she asked me to show it to her because she was not believing that it was not mine. I answered that the card was in effect mine and offered her to have a look, but it did not have any numbers on it. So she got ahead to request me to write down my credit card details, including the CVV code, on a piece of paper as ”a security”. Afterward, I was asked again by her if I would like breakfast or not, despite I selected the no breakfast option on booking.com. A moment later I was offered the POS terminal to pay by card, which stated an amount 30 euros higher that the price I booked the room for on this site. Due to the reoccurrence of the same, previous situation again, I refused to pay and respectfully asked her why the price was higher again. Mrs. Hauweld answered in a very disrespectful manner that I asked her to have breakfast included and that I was confusing her again. After that situation, I kindly asked them to speak with her supervisor. She answered, that she had no supervisor and was the only person working in the hotel for the whole weekend. That experience left me in complete disbelief of her professionality and her being in that important role in the hotel. However, despite that bad experience with that particular staff member, I would like to note that the other front desk managers were very friendly and helpful at all times.
