Hotel in zona Porta di Brandeburgo, Berlino

Myself my wife an 2 teenage boys 15 & 17 arived at reception @ 4pm, check-in was easy, given 2 sets of keys, (€200.00 if lost), Our apartment was just round the other side of the block which is 5mins away I think they have a few different apartments in the area, we stayed in block 05 and our room was 0502 5th floor, thankfully there was a lift. Apartment was clean although the door was very noisy so as a smoker I was up and down a few times when we were in so could do with some oil, we booked a 2bed apartment with 1 double and 2 single beds but on arrival it was 2 doubles, spoke to reception but nothing they could do, we ended up taking one of the 2 singles that make up the double and putting it on the floor, just as well we're used to camping, our eldest didn't mind, got a spare sheet from reception. Good size bed rooms & living area with kitchen and bathroom (no lock on the bathroom door) shower is over bath with curtain which was dated but adequate, kitchen has all you need, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, fridge, cutlery and dishes all supplied, all in all very satisfied with the apartment. Location is great, right next to the Jewish Memorial and 5 mins from Brandenburg Gate, recommend getting the Hop on Hop off bus ticket to see sights and use for transport, service Finnishes 5:30 so watch you time. The restaurants down stairs are a great addition to the area especially ROMs Indiche Indian restaurant we loved the food and good for a drink at night, Simran was very welcoming, the kebab shop was good, also steakhous and little Italy+ more on your doorstep, local shop and supermarket 5 mins along the road. All in all I would recommend staying here we had the best holiday and all left happy.

Posizione ottima a poca distanza dalla Porta di Brandeburgo e dall’isola dei musei; a pochi passi dalle stazioni S e U dei mezzi pubblici. Camere carine, pulite e confortevoli. Personale gentilissimo. Buona colazione ( anche se salata al 99%). Unici due nei:1) dato che il prezzo, sebbene abbordabile, non è comunque poco, trovare il bar dell’hotel chiuso non è stata una bella sorpresa. Dato che infrasettimanalmente la vita Berlinese cessa intorno alle 21/22, avere la possibilità di bere un drink al bar dell’hotel sarebbe stato eccellente. 2) non è molto insonorizzato internamente. Vale comunque la pena e se dovessimo tornare a Berlino prenoteremo qui di nuovo.

La posizione è a pochi passi dalla stazione centrale di Berlino. I servizi sono buoni ma alcuni non sono gratuiti. La stanza all'interno sembra vecchia a differenza della hall, dei corridoi, ecc. Non molto servizio svolto. Il giorno del check-out, apriranno la porta per verificare se c'è ancora qualcuno all'interno anche se non è ancora l'orario del check-out.

The hotel is clean, modern and well-staffed. What was missing for us was warmth and the expected level of hospitality. During our 5-day stay, nobody ever said hello, goodbye or communicated in any manner unless we asked a direct question. When I checked out, the only thing the receptionist said was to remind me I had borrowed an electrical adaptor and to return it. I travel frequently and expect hotels to be warm and welcoming. Also, when I checked in I was given no hotel information other than the E25 breakfast hours. I'm sure it's wonderful, but I since only have coffee, there is no reason to pay 25 euros. Because we didn't go to breakfast and the receptionist didn't tell us, we missed many features of the hotel we might have enjoyed. To further our disappointing stay, there was no printed hotel info in our room other than a book about the featured artist. I hate QR codes, but when I scanned the hotel's, it gave sp**** information. The hotel lobby isn't welcoming and I didn't go to the bar until my last night so was unaware of all the things Art'otel would have liked me to know. The magazine was interesting and beautiful. Why isn't there a copy in guest rooms? The local information and maps were available in the breakfast area, but we didn't go there and weren't offered them by hotel staff. One of the reasons I chose the hotel was the pictures of beautiful bathrooms with tubs. Sadly, the website fails to mention that tubs are only available in expensive suites. Our visit, while nice, was overpriced. We paid for hospitality and a good room, but only the room was up to the expected standards. Very disappointing.

Cuscini molto piatti e inesistenti. Alcuni atteggiamenti del personale erano un po' a desiderare. Oltre ai servizi di base in camera. € 4 per una bottiglia d'acqua in camera pazzesco quando il distributore automatico al piano di sotto € 2 per l'acqua. Non è stato facile riscattare l'incentivo per non aver utilizzato le pulizie. La cassaforte in camera non funzionava

Sicuramente non è un hotel carino, dove vorresti passarci molto tempo, ma la stanza era ordinata, completa e pulita. Unico neo la moquette, purtroppo immancabile in hotel di questo tipo. Molte stanze, stile rigoroso, personale sbrigativo, si trova vicinissimo alla metro e alla fermata del bus. La colazione si fa in una bella stanza, con una buona offerta di varietà per il salato e frutta, molto striminzita per i dolci, stile tedesco. Buona base per visitare la città , anche se non è centrale. Ottimo prezzo.

La posizione è perfetta!! Alexanderplatz è proprio dietro l'hotel! È conveniente in quanto molte attrazioni turistiche sono raggiungibili a piedi e si trovano molti ristoranti e centri commerciali!! Questa è la scelta migliore se stai pianificando un viaggio breve. La vista era spalancata quindi non ero soffocante ed ero soddisfatto! Lo consiglio! Tuttavia, non c'è il frigorifero in camera... Potrebbe essere più deludente se avete prenotato l'hotel in estate. E le stanze sono molto piccole Il bagno è in vetro trasparente, quindi potrebbe non essere adatto per stare con la famiglia (ci sono delle tende, ma non possono coprire tutto). Se hai intenzione di rimanere a Berlino per un lungo periodo di tempo e non viaggi con una famiglia dello stesso sesso, potresti doverci pensare. Tuttavia, data la posizione perfetta, questo hotel è consigliato a viaggiatori a breve termine!!

L'hotel è vicino alla stazione Savignyplatz, che è una buona zona. Un altro più è che la stanza era molto pulita. Tuttavia, non dovrebbe essere annunciato come un hotel con una palestra e sauna. La ”sala” era una piccola stanza con una palestra e una macchina a cavo, e la sauna non funzionava affatto. Non avrei prenotato questo hotel se fosse stata disponibile la giusta informazione.

Albergo vecchio stile. Molto accogliente. Molto adatto anche a molte persone. Il personale è molto accomodante. Le camere sono grandi e ben attrezzate. La colazione a buffet veniva sempre rifornita e offriva tutto ciò che rende una buona colazione. Ci siamo sentiti molto a nostro agio. S-Bahn e autobus nelle immediate vicinanze

Pet- and tourist-unfriendly place. My latest experience very much resembled extortion. I was charged 100 euro for dog’s fur on the bedsheets and 150 euro for dog’s fur on the floor (the hotel representative had to put quite an effort into scraping some with her shoe) and an approx 0,5 mm brown-ish spot on the carpet which they claimed to be “blood” (considering that there was an approx 5 cm black stain on the carpet as of my checkin which hotel apparently didn’t see as something of an issue to me as a guest). I used to like this hotel (despite being placed on several occasions in rooms with obvious sewage issues), until I stayed there with my dog. I presented my dog at the reception at the checkin (that is the receptionist saw the dog). Paid 15 eur per day pet fee and proceeded to the room. No additional rules, policies or verbal requests were presented to me. My dog damaged a pouffe which I informed the hotel about at the checkout and happily paid whatever was asked of me (200 eur). In addition to that I was demanded to pay 100 eur for some fur on bedsheets and 150 eur for some fur on the floor as mentioned above. No oficial price list was presented. No explanation why 15 eur a day pet fee wasn’t covering washing blankets and vacuuming floor was provided, all my questions or logical arguments were ignored. The team of hotel representatives generously offered me a 50 eur discount on cleaning (which I didn’t ask for) only confirming that the amounts weren’t based on any actual price list, because if the hotel really suffered a loss of 250 eur why would they “gift” me 50 eur. I considered it to be an extortion and suggested to call the police. When I came back after 15 min the hotel still hadn’t called the police. As I had an urgent matter and had to leave, I paid the hotel whatever its staff demanded. I think what actually happened is the hotel staff had accidentally or recklessly placed us in a no-pet room (as there was a carpet, unlike in some other rooms. I was placed into that room after finding out the one I was initially given smelt of sewage - repeatedly happened before). And instead of charging their staff, they’ve charged me, so that they can do (if they actually do) for some deep cleaning after an animal to make it suitable again for people with allergies. Staff’s rudeness and ill attitude with me as a client weren’t in line with the hospitality filed’s even moderate standards. Most customers might find this hotel pleasant - which it is, until it is no longer.
