Un albergo meraviglioso, nonostante sia situato lontano dal centro, è facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi pubblici, la metropolitana e gli autobus sono a pochi minuti. È stato difficile salire con lo zaino fino all'ottavo piano senza ascensore, non ho ben capito se ce ne fosse uno, per alcuni la questione potrebbe essere importante; La pulizia e la sostituzione degli asciugamani avvenivano ogni giorno!

Dopo due notti, anche se il letto è stato cambiato, la tovagliola non è cambiata. La colazione è allo stesso prezzo e anche altre negozi che vanno in un hotel di qualità migliore sono peggiori rispetto a altre. La qualità del personale di servizio è anche. Il cameriere del ristorante non ti tratta affatto, tranne che salutare. La reception, anche se amichevole, non è professionale, Soprattutto una donna, la capacità di gestione emotiva mi ha fatto sospettare che abbia problemi mentali. Ho chiesto educatamente di stampare, non lo farà, e ha un passo in cui dire che non lo farà. Ha improvvisamente un tono alto e una riproduzione forte: questo è il posto dove non lo farò! Ripeto diverse volte, la gente che non sapeva pensava che avessi litigato con lei.Come fa la gente con problemi di gestione emotiva a lavorare in una reception chiamata il suo 4-star hotel? Penso di essere troppo lontana e mi ha infilato.

Ottima posizione, stazione ferroviaria proprio accanto. Siamo stati accolti calorosamente e la camera era molto pulita. Anche la colazione era ottima... c'era qualcosa per tutti, l'unica cosa che non era eccezionale erano i panini. Il personale è stato sempre molto gentile. Parcheggi proprio davanti alla porta (ampio parcheggio) 4 euro per 24 ore. Ci torneremmo ancora e ancora

La posizione dell'hotel è buona e la camera è grande e bella, ma la camera ha bisogno di più luce e la toaletta. Mi sentivo molto buio perché c'era solo una lampada gialla accanto ad un'altra lampada da tavolo, ma una volta che l'ho girata, non importava molto, ma era caldo e il tempo era già caldo durante il mio soggiorno, quindi ho chiuso quella lampada. Se dovete lasciare il bagaglio in hotel dopo aver controllato, dovrete sapere che potete tenerlo fino alle 3:00 solo nei fine settimana e alle 6:00 nei giorni normali. La cosa migliore che mi piaceva in hotel è il bagno 🛁. In generale, consiglio l'hotel, ma devi essere consapevole delle informazioni che ho menzionato sopra.

AAMAR ANWARLocation
Walk 7 minutes in one direction and you are at Checkpoint Charlie. Walk 10 mins in the other direction and you are at the Mall of Berlin. Walk 20 mins in another direction and you are in the Museum area of Berlin. Loads of restaurants, supermarkets and stores right next door to the apartment. Wonderful location. Can walk everywhere, plus the subway station is right outside.
Room
Large. Clean. It's a studio apartment, so in one room you will have your bed, sofa, coffee table, desk, wardrobe and TV. Then in another room you will have your kitchen and another room is your bathroom.
Bedroom
Bed is comfortable, but for some reason, despite having a 1 double bed, the duvets supplied were for 2 single beds, rather than one big bed.
Plug sockets near the beds are useful, but they are not VERY near, but close enough.
The room is large and clean.
The TV is small and because of the size of the room, it's almost hard to see. Yes it's on a wheeled table so you can bring it closer to the bed, but the power cord limits the range of movement. It is a Smart TV though so you can cast your android phone to it. Not iOS
There is a balcony area with tables and chairs which is nice.
The AC is wall mounted as if it was a TV. It did cool the room which is surprising as the room is big.
Bathroom
Super clean. Towels and such changed daily. It's a bathtub with a shower combined. And now I am going to be SUPER picky when I say this......do NOT let this impact your decision to stay here or not, but the water pressure is good but not great. But that may be because I like to feel like the water is really shooting at my skin. Also, the shower head holder kept sliding down. Annoying, ever so slightly, but not a deal breaker
Kitchen
So useful. It's a large kitchen with a fridge plus freezer. Induction hob with 2 rings. Sink, dishwasher. Plates, bowls, cups, tea saucers and cups, cutlery, cooking pots, frying pans, utensils for them, cutlery for eating, kitchen knives, tea towels, sieves... all great and all provided. There was one review that said it only offered 1 plate set.... we had several and it was very very useful.
Laundry
The apartment has a laundry room. 3 washing machines, 3 drying units, an ironing board and good steam iron. Even the powder is provided and having a laundry room was super useful. It's on -1 floor of the West side of the building.
Breakfast
The breakfast room, on the 8th floor does have an amazing view, and the room is lovely - everything is white with stone-coloured chairs, super clean... as if designed by Apple
It's a half-buffet style, cereal, pastry, cheese, and cured meats are all help yourself. Eggs, tea and coffee are on request. I didn't like this. The staff are wonderful and very polite and well trained, but, for me, I prefer less interaction and would have preferred a full buffet-style where I can help myself to whatever I wanted without having to ask.
Gym and Sauna
Also on the 8th floor. The gym has wonderful views, there is a seated bike, treadmill, rowing machine, weight bench and some dumbbells. Max weight was 10kg for the dumbbells so really its more of a cardio room.
Service.
We arrived around 11pm, but reception is not open. You have to scan a QR code, fill in all your details, upload a photo of your passport.... then wait after it successfully registers you you can open the doors. Or you can pop into the security office where the guy will hand you a key. Much easier, but you are not explicitly told.
But, the service is good here. Everyone is very polite, very helpful, all speak English. Cannot fault them at all. Just wish the reception was 24 hours
The location is great, the room is large and clean, the laundry room is useful and the gym and breakfast room have great views. It is expensive which is the only hesitant thing about returning here, but it is comparable in price to other similar hotels but here you get a much larger room with a kitchen. Great stay!

KKatrin282Beh, devo proprio ammettere che non me lo aspettavo. Questo hotel merita il massimo dei voti da parte mia: servizio, cordialità, pulizia, posizione, vista e colazione a buffet, semplicemente fantastica. Purtroppo non ho foto della stanza ma potete vederle qui sul sito.
Torneremo, è una promessa. Grazie per lo splendido fine settimana a Berlino

Service at reception
The full payment including city taxes have been paid via my credit card upon booking. The payments paid and breakdown including city taxes are stated very clearly on the booking voucher. However despite this, I was asked to pay a deposit of amount close to Euro 600 which was the full amount of my stay that was paid using my credit card. Upon asking, I asked the trainee/Lena why I have to pay so much again when I had paid the full amount via credit card.
Lena then checked with the another lady receptionist on the deposit that should be secured. However, this lady receptionist informed us to pay a deposit of euro 50 which I have no issue. However, she rudely informed me that I have to pay city tax. I told her that it has been paid and I showed her the booking voucher which clearly shows that city taxes have been paid. But she informed rudely that the amount was charged in other currency, not Euro. Seriously, when I heard this, I was shocked with the “intelligence” of this lady receptionist. She needs to be educated on what is “foreign currency equivalent” and to have some common sense. I disputed this and insisted that i had paid the full amount including city taxes, which was stated very clearly on the booking voucher. Lena agreed with me and reiterated to this lady receptionist that the booking voucher indeed stated that all payments including city taxes have been paid. Thereafter, the lady receptionist left rudely without any apologies.
The receptionists should be trained and their service should be improved. Firstly, they should have checked that I have fully paid and should not secure a a deposit of almost euro 600. Only when I asked, they rechecked, but no apologies. Secondly, even after they rechecked, they did not check clearly that city taxes have been paid and insisted me to pay city taxes. No apologies either when they found out. The service from the lady receptionist (shorter girl with curly hair) was so rude and no apologies even though she was wrong in the first place.
I highlighted this issue and feedback to the shiftleader, Andreas Levi and made known to him about the receptionists. He immediately went to check and confirmed that all payments including city taxes have been paid earlier via credit card. Thanks Andreas Levi for checking and making our stay better.
Bed
Not sure why some beds have comforters/topper while some beds without. The beds with comforters are so comfy! Our bed without comforters.
Breakfast
For Europe’s standard, I think the breakfast in this hotel is considered good. With few hot food such as overcooked bacon, overcooked sausage, baked bean, and eggs. The omelette is nice (thanks to the chef!) Some selections of bread, lots of choices of good quality teas. Few selections of juices. Coffee machine. Fresh honey comb.
Complementary water
It is odd that complimentary water is only provided to the guests for the first night despite I stay 3 nights. This is the first time I experience this in Europe. Perhaps guest should make different booking for each night.
Proximity to trains and attractions
Close proximity to train stations and some main attractions.
Summary
Overall service was good (except for 1 rude lady receptionist). I will still recommend this hotel. Take the breakfast.

SSze YinGenerally an okay experience. Was initially rather apprehensive about staying here given the bad reviews but the overall experience was not bad and a value for money.
The room I stayed in was clean, however some toilets had a strong pee smell to it but this was still okay since I could walk slightly further to use cleaner toilets. I could also see cleaners very regularly every morning working to clean the place, so overall cleanliness is acceptable but very much dependent on your hostel mates.
Location was pretty far away from the city centre, however, it was still v accessible to public transportation so that was good.
I previously read some reviews about the noise at night at the hostel coming from outside. I found this to be true on some of the nights there as the hostel is right next to a campground where people parked their cars at. They would occasionally blast loud music at night but this didn't bother me too much as I'm a heavy sleeper.
The most unnerving thing about the hostel was that overall it would feel unsafe for solo female travellers. I stayed in a private room so I had a rather enjoyable experience. However, I found there to be large groups of older men hanging around the corridors and smoking near the gates late at night. They would also occasionally walk out of the toilets and into the shared corridors in just their underwear so it was quite uncomfortable especially when I had to walk past them.
Receptionists were all generally very helpful who even unlocked the laundry room slightly earlier for us to use in the morning. However, we had a bad experience with one receptionist who was rather curt,dismissive and unhelpful.
Overall an acceptable stay for the price we paid. However, I would not recommend for long stays ( more than a week) and if u are a solo female traveller.

EetRlo1. Meno di 15 minuti a piedi per i treni S-Bahn, comprese le rotte aeroportuali, fino all'aeroporto è di circa un'ora. Il modo più economico per viaggiare. Sì, c'è un accesso ascensore per bagagli, pranzo, sedia a rotelle e uso ecc.
2. La posizione era buona in generale, amando l'ambiente residenziale, piuttosto tranquillo e tranquillo.
3. Camera complessiva, pulizia soddisfacente. TV intelligente, radio antiquato (cd, cassetta) che non mi interessa avere musica jazz giocato tutto il giorno. L'intera camera era confortevole, il pigiama era solo così.
4. Molti sockets di potenza strategici, ma non amichevole per l'utente, erano tutti locali arrotondati in plug, il normale plug internazionale di viaggiatori non sarebbe compatibile. La ricezione sarebbe prestito senza fuss.
5. Buona sicurezza, accesso al lift attraverso la chiave della stanza, CCTV è stato posizionato, dopo ore la porta principale del lobby deve essere accessibile con la chiave della stanza,
6.Il personale di ricezione in generale guarda seriamente, alcuni sono amichevoli con un sorriso e saluti.Il signore di casa è amichevoli.
7. La pressione e la temperatura del doccia erano grandi, dovevano puntare lievemente all'interno, se l'acqua non fosse sprayata fuori dal cubico del doccia.
8. Infine, Aircon non lavorava e la ricezione ha sostenuto che forse era spogliato e poteva prestare un fan senza alcun costo. Non ha chiesto di uno, aveva lasciato la mia finestra ajar in ogni momento in camera, come il tempo era ancora bellissimo di circa 10-20 gradi Celsius. Scommetto che l'ora dell'estate non sarebbe certamente l'ideale.
