We were so excited to stay here in between our drive from Grand Marais to North Port. We checked in and Kayla was so friendly and very helpful. She even chatted with us about the area and later let us the Northern Lights were appearing. She is such a professional and friendly employee. Next time we're in the area will definitely stay here again. Mahalo Kayla

I liked everything about this hotel. Clean and comfortable beds and pillows. I was disappointed that they don’t have a continental breakfast- no free coffee ( had to buy Starbucks in the lobby)

I travel solo for business & I felt safe! The dining area was out of a lot of things & newer staff was overwhelmed but they were super sweet so that made up for it. Management - help out your newbies!

The hotel is fairly new, and the decor is modern and easy to clean. The location is perfect for following the Michigan Wine Trail, and there are many great restaurants nearby. The lobby staff work their tails off, but housekeeping needs re-training.

The bed comforter didn t look like it was changed for new guests ( it had hair everywhere on it). We didn t had any body lotion in the room and we nedded it ( we asked the front desk and they gave us some). Restrooms should be a bit cleaned with some chlorine by the shower because the bacteria is visible growing there. Price was 365$ for a Saturday night // kind of too much for the location it has. We enjoyed the patio area / we find it really nice. The lady from the bar was nice !

I have stayed at the hotel multiple times. Not only is there no breakfast for any of the guests, but they also will try to refuse to honor the terms of providing a free breakfast for Titanium Elite members. There is also no free coffee in the lobby. Do not let them get away with this. I am usually too busy to pursue this contractual agreement, but recently, I decided to get Marriott HQ involved. After all, a deal is a deal. The manager finally relented, later in the day, and coughed up 5000 Marriott Rewards points. They have to honor the Titanium Elite agreement, and I highly recommend that this be agreed upon at check-in. There is a restaurant on site and credits will have to be provided for two breakfasts. Time for these guys to wake up and smell the coffee😉.

The hotel and room was clean. However when we got there I was told there would be an additional $100 added to my stay due to the holiday. We had no other options to pay that. And my receipt does not show the payment of the hundred extra dollars, but does show the original booking price. Very disappointed in Marriot. Will not be back.
