Check in was excellent, and our request for a floor with a sea view on the 8th floor was honoured. The rooms and main areas were all very clean and well presented. We know the areas well, so always pick this old town/strip area. Perfect position and close to all the bars, restaurants, beach and main entertainment *****. Many many supermarket/convenience style shops too. We stayed in March so unfortunately not warm enough to sunbathe. We are back in August though, so shall we enjoying the pool/pool bar area, which again was very neat and tidy. Small but more than acceptable. Room tips: Kettle and cups available to hire - 10 euro deposit and this is returned to you. Safe is a small 1 euro a day charge. Great fridge in the room which is nice and cold. I believe some rooms are a 'shower over bath' - so ask for a walk in shower if this is an issue. Our walk in shower was great. Check in staff member - extremely polite. Noise is NOT an issue - very good soundproofing but in the summer months I'd avoid any room on the first few floows, as there is a bar directly below. We were on a bed and breakfast basis, and I would probably say that there are better hotel breakfasts for the same price eg Benidorm Plaza or Madeiro Centro, but it was acceptable. Positives - always a table free, nice selection of continental, omelette/egg station Negatives - there was some 'cava' one morning for breakfast - to make bucks fizz, but only 1 morning out of the 4, so felt like this was a nice feature that they let themselves down with. Simple things like no milk, or teaspoons in the tea/coffee station, so you'd end up using your knife to stir your tea, and having to take your cup across the room to the cereal station to use a large jug of milk for your brew. And, no teapots either, which is nice to have. Nothing major, and easily rectified. We would and will definitely stay again - and bring the sun this time :)
