Hotel Palia La Roca

I booked this all inclusive hotel and wasn’t expecting too much as I have been on all inclusive before and have never really been satisfied. The first day of arriving with my mother and son we thought we were going to have fun as the entertainers were constantly walking about and doing activities with all the guests from 11am until about 1800, and then they would be on stage all night until 2200. Our room was fantastic and very clean which is a very big thing for me, the cleaning lady who cleaned our room was always smiling and happy and would stop and have a quick chat in the morning which to me it shows they care about the customers and are prepared to help us in anyway we ask so 10/10 for our spotless room every day. The pool is amazing and big and one great thing is no matter where in the pool you are you can always touch the floor which was great for my mother as she can’t swim and never gets in the pool on holiday due to lack of confidence, she got herself a couple of floats this year and she has never spent so much time in the pool which was fantastic to see. As the pool is so big my son and I was able to splash around and play ball without other guests moaning and without us been in the way of everyone. The pool has a lifeguard on patrol constantly and who also will collect towels of guests who lay there towels down in the morning and then vacate the hotel so whenever there was no beds a quick word with the lifeguard and beds would quickly become available so 10/10 for the pool area and 10/10 for the lifeguard. The bar staff were more than excellent and even though they are busy from the moment they open until close they will do anything and everything to help to make sure we are all served quickly, politely and in a professional manner, they will always take time to pass the time of day and to be helpful so 10/10 for the bar staff, thank you. The food is what you would expect from an all inclusive hotel but when there is so many different nationalities staying in one place it is very hard to please everyone, always something to eat even if it’s just a salad or soup and bread so as much I would like to give 10/10 for everything I will give 7/10 for food. This will not affect the 10/10 score I have given the hotel. So what made our holiday and made this the best holiday I have been on is the Entertainment staff Loli, Henda, Maria, Ismael, and most importantly MATTIAS & KOBE. These guys made it so much fun and made everyday different by constantly taking time to come around the pool area to rally the guests to join in with the activities they put so much effort in to. We met so many lovely people that we will keep in touch with due to the amount of effort they put in to get us all together and to take people out of their comfort zone and to get people into teams with other guests so everyone becomes friends very quickly. This place exceeds it's 3 stars. Personell is friendly and helpfull, lication very convenient, food above expectations, and cleanlyness is perfect. You get more than you pay for. We have traveled a lot, usually in a higher category facilities, and this was a last minute option. We had no previous knowledge about the place, but nevertheless, it's much more than we expected.

When we arrived we were given the smallest room ive ever been in,it was definatley for a solo person and not a couple, one slim wardrobe no draws and a bathroom practically in the bedroon.. We went down to see if we could change rooms (we were prepared to pay) the reception staff were so nice told us to come back in the morning and they would have us a new room at no cost. Went down at 10am and one was ready for us a huge modern room overlooking the pool.. The hotel was spotless with cleaners constantly cleaning throughout the day, every member of staff was friendly and couldnt do enough for us even the manager came up to us to see that we had everything we need and was happy with the hotel.. There was never a rush anywere, no rushing at meal times and no bed wars around the pool, there was a small queue waiting for the gates to open but everyone was friendly and didnt run and fight for beds... Which ive experienced in other hotels..the location of the beach was fab.. Food was ok not as much choice has other hotels but everything was tasty.. We really could not find one fault with this hotel, we came here just as a one off for a 5 night break but we are booking again for next year..

The hotel is spotless. Our sea view room view was stunning, perfect!! ALL the hotel staff from bar staff, animation team, cleaners were really lovely, genuinely very friendly, helpful and happy to help in any way!! Location of hotel is great, beach, bars and restaurants all on the doorstep. The beautiful harbour a 20 minute walk away!! The animation team were great, really inclusive of every age and round the clock activities to be involved in! The restaurant staff were lovely but the food wasn’t the best - however there was always something and we were happy enough for our short break (4 days!) I would recommend the hotel and would also return too - we had a lovely time and I’ll cherish our memories!!

We were going in September for our 46 wedding anniversary. Sadly we had to cancel the week before we were going. I have marked the hotel 5 because of the reviews from other guests. Hopefully we will be able to get there in 2025. I dont know what else to say. We are struggling to get our money back

We just loved our stay at this hotel from start to finish. The reception team were so welcoming and friendly and kind. The manager was present, socialising and chatting to people. The entertainment team were so nice to my son and celebrated his birthday. The restaurant food was delicious and drinks were very good. Lovely room with amazing views of the sea. We would definitely return, it was perfect.
